Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure, specifically to the technology of continuous pressing and drawing, and can be used in the production of long shaped wires from copper and alloys based on it, used in electrification lines of railway lines.
A known method for the production of contact wires (US 6077364 A,
The disadvantage of the known method is the practical impossibility of achieving the stated strength characteristics of the wire (for example, tensile strength of 393 MPa for a wire with a cross section of 136.5 mm 2 ) when alloyed with silver, tellurium, magnesium, manganese, or a combination of them in an amount of not more than 0.10% of the mass. It is also unattainable to obtain a wire with an electrical conductivity of 99.0% IACS (claimed by the author) when doping a copper alloy, with the exception of silver.
Известен способ производства контактных проводов для скоростных железных дорог (RU 2726547, МПК В21С 23/08; C22F 1/08, опубликовано 14.07.2020), согласно которому формирование провода осуществляют в два этапа. На первом этапе методом CONFORM-процесса (экструзии) получают прессованную бесконечную заготовку круглого сечения, площадь которой больше площади литой заготовки; на втором - из этой заготовки холодным волочением получают провод необходимого профиля. При этом провод производят из сплава меди с магнием или оловом.A known method for the production of contact wires for high-speed railways (RU 2726547, IPC B21C 23/08;
Недостатком известного способа является высокая степень обжатия на последнем этапе производства (77-90%), приводящая к исчерпанию ресурса пластичности материала провода и возникновению трещин на его поверхности, а также относительно низкое временное сопротивление при растяжении (411 МПа для провода сечением 150 мм2).The disadvantage of the known method is a high degree of compression at the last stage of production (77-90%), leading to the exhaustion of the plasticity resource of the wire material and the appearance of cracks on its surface, as well as a relatively low tensile strength (411 MPa for a wire with a cross section of 150 mm 2 ) .
A known method for the production of electrocontact wire from a heat-strengthened copper-based alloy (RU 2741873, IPC
A significant disadvantage of this method is its low economic efficiency, which is due to the use of the method of equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP-Conform), which requires multiple pressing operations that make it difficult to obtain long wires. It is also difficult to obtain the required strength characteristics of the produced wires, since at the last stages the deformation of the wire rod is carried out at temperatures of 300-400°C, which is higher than the temperature of the beginning of copper recrystallization and, accordingly, contributes to the softening of the material.
Наиболее близким аналогом предлагаемого способа, принятого за прототип, является способ волочения провода из меди и ее сплавов (RU 2492010, МПК В21С 1/00, опубликовано 10.09.2013).The closest analogue of the proposed method, taken as a prototype, is a method of drawing wire from copper and its alloys (RU 2492010, IPC
The method includes forming a workpiece of pre-finishing dimensions and a finished profile of finishing dimensions by two-stage deformation in a double set of roller dies with a total relative reduction ε Σ =21-37%. In this case, the first stage of deformation of the workpiece is carried out in a die with a three-roller gauge by forming two concave and one convex surfaces on a round workpiece, and the second degree of deformation is carried out with countertension in a die with a four-roller gauge and the final dimensions of the profile are formed.
The disadvantages of the known method are, firstly, the difficulty of observing the countertension condition at the second drawing stage, and secondly, the use of open gauges in both drawing stages, which contributes to the formation of whisker-like defects on the surface of the finished wire.
The proposed method for the production of a shaped profile is free from this disadvantage of the known method. Thanks to the use of three-roller dies with a closed caliber, as well as an accumulator between the dies, the drawing process is carried out without the influence of tension. In addition, the use of a profile pressed by the CONFORM method with a shaped section as a blank for drawing significantly reduces the unevenness of the deformation work when forming the concave parts of the surface of the finished contact wire, which eliminates the likelihood of stress cracks on the surface of the contact wire.
The listed technical results are achieved due to the fact that in the method for the production of a profile, including pouring bronze and forming a continuous workpiece by plastic deformation by the CONFORM method, according to the invention, plastic deformation of a continuous workpiece is carried out by drawing without tension in two successively located blocks of three-roller dies with relative deformation in each block 15-20% and maintaining the shape of the original workpiece.
1-4.The proposed method for producing a bronze profile is illustrated in FIG. 1-4.
In FIG. 1 shows the dependence of the electrical conductivity and tensile strength of the work-hardened copper alloy CuMg 0.2 on the state and degree of accumulated deformation; in fig. 2 is a view of the continuous pressing line by the CONFORM method, supplemented by equipment for drawing wire-drawing deformation according to the method in question; in fig. 3 sections A-A and in Fig. 4 sections B-B.
In FIG. 2-4, the following designations are adopted: 1 - CONFORM continuous pressing machine; 2 - reservoir with coolant; 3 and 5 - three-roller drawing devices that implement drawing without tension; 4 - drive; 6 - block of correct and measuring devices; 7 - block of pulling rollers; 8 - device for winding the wire into a riot; 9 - upper rollers of the drawing device; 10 - lower roller of the drawing device; 11 - section of the formed wire after pressing by the CONFORM method; 12 - wire section after deformation in the first roller die; 13 - section of the finished shaped wire.
Based on the results of a study of the mechanical properties of the copper-magnesium alloy CuMg 0.2 (Fig. 1), it was found that in the process of continuous pressing CONFORM, the pressed material acquires a fine-grained structure with a predominance of recrystallized and partially recrystallized grains, which is the reason for the low strength of the wire material, little different from cast condition. Further cold deformation (drawing) strengthens the resulting profile and, due to the achievement of a total relative deformation of 30-40%, the wire acquires strength that meets the requirements of GOST Ρ 55647-2018 (tensile strength 421.5-425.5 MPa, respectively), with an insignificant decrease electrical conductivity (0.0203-0.0204 μOhm⋅m, respectively). Thus, it has been established that the total relative deformation of the CuMg 0.2 alloy by a value of less than 30% does not ensure the achievement of the required level of profile properties, and the deformation by more than 40% is ineffective, since upon reaching this value, the hardening of the CuMg 0.2 alloy slows down significantly .
The method of production of a bronze profile is carried out as follows.
Get a melt of commercially pure copper alloyed with magnesium in an amount of up to 0.2% of the mass. A cast billet of round cross section is obtained from the melt by continuous upward pulling and is wound into a coil.
2 и 3).The free end of the coil with the workpiece is fed into the CONFORM 1 continuous pressing machine (Fig. 2), where the wire workpiece is obtained by pressing through a matrix with a hole shape corresponding to the wire cross section until deformation in the roller die 11 (Fig. 2 and 3).
The obtained cross-sectional shape of the pressed blank, characterized by the presence of concave parts of its edges, provides uniform deformation during drawing in the roller device 3 (Fig. 2) by reducing the volume of the deformable material localized in the base area of the stem of the resulting shaped profile.
Thus, the continuous billet obtained after pressing CONFORM, to prevent oxidation of the surface of the wire, is passed through a reservoir with coolant 2 (Fig. 2) and set in the first block of roller dies of the drawing device 3 (Fig. 2), the deformation in which is carried out by two upper rollers 9 (Fig. 3) and one lower support roller 10 (Fig. 3) with a relative deformation of 15-20%. As a result, the intermediate profile of the
2).The effect of tension is eliminated by forming and maintaining a loop in the drive 4 (Fig. 2) of the profile 12 (Fig. 2 and 3) by the value δ between the three-
4).Accordingly, the resulting intermediate profile 12 (Fig. 3) is set in the second block of the three-roller drawing die 5 (Fig. 2), the deforming tool of which also includes two upper rollers 9 (Fig. 4) and one lower support roller 10 (Fig. 4), where as a result of plastic deformation at the level of 15-20%, the profile is shaped into the finished wire 13 (Fig. 4).
8.The finished contact wire is subjected to editing (and measurement) in the device 6 (Fig. 2) and set in the block of pulling rollers 7 (Fig. 2), which create a stable pulling force of drawing. The finished contact wire is wound into coils on the
The set of developed technical solutions allows to solve the technical problem of the production of shaped contact wire in a new and effective way and reduces the formation of wire surface defects.
Example. Briquetted cathode copper scrap is loaded into blocks of induction channel furnaces located parallel to each other. The melting of copper scrap briquettes is carried out in a melting bath. The temperature of the bath is maintained by uniform loading of a new portion of the charge. The level of the metal mirror is within ±2 mm. To prevent oxidation of the copper melt, its surface is covered with calcined charcoal with a layer of 80-100 mm. At a melt temperature of 1150°C, a ligature (copper-phosphorus) and an alloying element (magnesium) are periodically introduced into the melting zone based on the magnesium content in the cast billet up to 0.2 wt%.
The resulting melt is fed through the siphons in the furnace partition into the pouring compartment (mixer), in which a cast rod is formed by using a water-cooled graphite mold placed in the melt at a depth of 50-100 mm from its mirror.
Finished continuous bars with a diameter of 16-20 mm are automatically wound into coils weighing up to 3 tons and transported to the pressing area, where they are installed on an unwinding device. The free end of the continuous cast billet is fed by feed rollers into the receiving unit of the CONFORM press, where metal is accumulated in the working press chamber and flows through the die to form a continuous billet with a cross section of 215 mm 2 . The workpiece (11 in Fig. 2) is fed into a special channel and then into a cooling bath with a water-alcohol solution.
The pressed billet is subjected to a deformation of 15% in each block to obtain a finished profile with a cross section of 150 mm 2 . Use successively located blocks of three-roller dies (4 and 5 in Fig. 2). The tension between the blocks is regulated by controlling the speed of passage of the profile through the blocks of drags.
