SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to a method of treating scabies, comprising using a synthetic pyretroid, characterized by that the synthetic pyretroide used is beta-cypermethrin, wherein the whole body surface is sprayed, except the face and the scalp, rubbed into the skin, left for 24 hours; washed with soap and applied repeatedly on 2nd day and then washed thoroughly; wherein an emulsion is used, prepared by adding 10 ml of 5 % beta-cypermethrin concentrate to 100 ml of water.

EFFECT: present invention provides developing a new cheap and effective method of treating scabies.

В России распространенным и, в настоящее доступным, препаратом для лечения чесотки является бензилбензоат. Экспериментально доказано, что после однократной обработки бензилбензоатом гибнут все активные стадии клеща. Однако яйца выживают.
