Abstract
Description
The invention relates to devices for changing the shape of the directional pattern of waves emitted by the antenna, in particular - to devices that change the distribution of energy in the antenna solution.
(Array of Dielectric Rod Waveguide antennas for millimeter-wave power generation / IEEE. - 2015. A known method of increasing the gain for the millimeter wavelength range (Array of Dielectric Rod Waveguide antennas for millimeter-wave power generation / IEEE. - 2015. - C 917), which consists in using an antenna array consisting of dielectric wedge-shaped elements. Each element is located in its own waveguide output (emitter). Due to the mutual electromagnetic coupling between the elements, the antenna gain is increased, in comparison with a system containing one emitter and one dielectric element, in addition, the emitted wave is characterized by a flat front.
The disadvantage of this method is the complexity of the design, due to the need not only to manufacture a set of emitters with identical parameters, but also requiring the provision of in-phase energy supplied to them through branching waveguides with different lengths.
The closest to the claimed technical solution is a device for generating a wave with a plane front based on a hexagonal lattice of dielectric rods, described in US patent (US 7167139 B2, 23.01.2007), providing radiation into the space of electromagnetic energy supplied through a coaxial cable in the form of an electromagnetic wave with a flat front. The central element of the device is a polarizer powered by a coaxial cable, relative to which six dielectric rods of the first ring and twelve dielectric rods of the second ring are placed at certain distances in a hexagonal order, all elements are combined into one unit using a special holder.
The disadvantages of this device are:
- невозможность использовать его для преобразования пространственного распределения электромагнитной энергии передающего устройства с коническим излучателем;- the impossibility of using it to transform the spatial distribution of electromagnetic energy of a transmitting device with a conical radiator;
- нерациональное распределение излучаемой электромагнитной энергии в плоскости анализа изображения, в случае использования его в составе системы радиовидения с матричным приемником излучения прямоугольной формы.- irrational distribution of the radiated electromagnetic energy in the image analysis plane, if it is used as part of a radio imaging system with a rectangular matrix radiation receiver.
The problem to be solved by the claimed invention is the development of a device free from the indicated disadvantages.
The technical result, which is achieved when solving this problem, is to increase the efficiency of the radiated electromagnetic energy by matching the geometric parameters of the radiation pattern of the transmitting device and the field of view of the receiving device with a matrix rectangular radiation receiver of the millimeter wave radio imaging system.
2):This problem is solved due to the fact that the polarizer used in the prototype, powered by a coaxial cable, and a hexagonal grating consisting of dielectric rods are replaced, respectively, by (Fig. 1) a

The principle of the invention.
In the opening of the
Thus, the device for changing the energy distribution allows:
- использовать его для преобразования пространственного распределения электромагнитной энергии передающего устройства с коническим излучателем;- to use it to transform the spatial distribution of electromagnetic energy of a transmitter with a conical emitter;
- обеспечить рациональное распределение излучаемой электромагнитной энергии в плоскости анализа изображения системы радиовидения с матричным приемником излучения прямоугольной формы.- to ensure a rational distribution of the radiated electromagnetic energy in the image analysis plane of the radio imaging system with a matrix radiation receiver of a rectangular shape.
