The closest analogue to the claimed utility model is a device for preventing access to the contacts of an electrical outlet (see patent DE 3812063 class. H01R13 / 44, 03.30.1989). The presence of a lockable lid prevents dust and dirt from entering the socket contacts. However, the disadvantage of this device is the inability to prevent unauthorized use of the outlet, as well as any consumer of electricity connected to it.

The objective of the utility model is to create a device that reliably protects the power outlet and has high ergonomic properties.

The technical result achieved by the claimed utility model is to provide protection against unauthorized use of electrical appliances, increase reliability during operation of electrical appliances and electrical equipment, as well as expand the protective capabilities of devices to prevent access to a power outlet.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the device for preventing access to the contacts of the socket contains a housing designed for fastening on the base of the socket, in the wall of which holes are made for the pins of the plug, and a cover fixed to the housing with the possibility of opening, according to the invention, the cover and the housing are connected locking device.

The locking device is a combination lock that can be installed on the wall of the housing or on the cover.

The combination lock may be padlocked.

The use of the claimed device greatly expands the security; the total possibilities of controlling unauthorized access to electrical appliances. Firstly, with the device closed, it is not possible to turn on the appliance in the network.
