Abstract
Description
The invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in vacuum for thermal insulation of small thrust rocket engines, and can also be used in low temperature technology.
With a decrease in the standard sizes of small thrust rocket engines, the efficiency of heat release from the decomposition (combustion) of fuel in their chambers decreases with respect to their overall mass characteristics, which leads, as a result, to a corresponding decrease in the efficiency of the engines as a whole. Therefore, for such engines, the maximum possible conservation of heat from decomposition (combustion) of fuel becomes relevant, especially for engines with extremely low traction. This problem can be solved through the use of highly effective thermal insulation.
A known method of manufacturing a multi-screen thermal insulation, describing the design, consisting of 12 alternating layers of screens laid in a spiral pattern: 6 distance screens with hemispherical protrusions and 6 smooth screens. Remote screens are made of NbC slip on a polyvinyl butyral bond, smooth screens are obtained by molding and then rolling a plasticized mass of NbC powder on a rubber bond (USSR Author's Certificate No. 875177, IPC F16L 59 / 08.1981).
However, the known design can be used mainly for thermal insulation in electric furnaces, in the gas channels of power plants, it is extremely complex and laborious to manufacture. The problem of increasing the insulation strength is solved by partially reducing its thermal insulation properties.
Known high-temperature screen insulation used for thermal insulation of high-temperature batteries in outer space. The thermal insulation contains cylindrical corrugated molybdenum screens with a thickness of 50-500 microns and a corrugation height of 0.1-3 mm and at least two layers of foil molybdenum screens 10-50 microns thick located between them (RF Patent No. 2262032, IPC F16L 59/08, 2004 .).
However, the known design for providing a guaranteed gap between the cylindrical screens provides corrugations, that is, direct contacts between the metal screens in a relatively large amount, which leads to a decrease in the insulating properties of thermal insulation. At least two foil screens are placed in the cavities between the corrugations of the screens, which can be made either of thin-walled high-temperature flat foil, or with the implementation of local spherical bulges on it. Here, there will also be a relatively large number of direct contacts of the metal materials of the foil screens with each other and with corrugated screens. Moreover, some mobility of the screens between themselves is allowed under thermocyclic loads, and, consequently, the area of thermal contacts between them will change. As a result, direct contacts of the metal elements of thermal insulation in a relatively large amount between each other, as well as their permissible mobility among themselves, lead to a decrease in the efficiency of thermal insulation as a whole, as well as to a decrease in the stability of its operation during use.
A known method of screen-vacuum thermal insulation (EVTI) of cylindrical objects, describing the design of the screen-vacuum thermal insulation, adopted as a prototype, consisting of screens and gaskets between them, made in the form of a trapezoidal strip, helically wound on an internal form-resistant screen that lining a cylindrical surface insulated object. The outer lining EVTI completes the external form-resistant screen. The width of the strip is a variable and is determined by the length of the cylindrical part of the object and the increment at each turn is not less than twice the step of the spiral winding. On the lateral surfaces of the strip, teeth of a triangular or trapezoidal shape with increasing pitch and height are made. The distance between the layers of screens is achieved by combining the teeth of the strips of each layer after bending (RF Patent No. 1565189, IPC F16L 59/00, 1994).
However, the known design does not guarantee guaranteed to provide the same gaps between the layers in all radial directions during operation of the thruster. In the process of applying the engine, first of all, after exposure to mechanical loads when putting the spacecraft into orbit, the non-uniformity of the gaps between the EVTI layers in different radial directions will lead to the corresponding unevenness of its thermal resistance in these directions and, accordingly, to a decrease in the heat-insulating properties of the EVTI engine as a whole.
When creating the invention, the problem was solved of maintaining in vacuum a high thermal insulation ability of screen-vacuum thermal insulation by ensuring equal gaps between the insulation layers during operation of the rocket engine.
The problem is solved due to the fact that in the known screen-vacuum thermal insulation of a thrust rocket engine containing a cylindrical outer form-resistant screen and a two-layer set of strips located inside it, consisting of a main heat-insulating screen and gaskets wound on a cylindrical internal form-resistant screen mounted above the insulated the surface of the rocket engine, according to the invention, in the two-layer set of strips and a cylindrical inner shape-resistant screen perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the insulation, at least two through holes are formed, staples are inserted and fixed in the through holes so that they cover the edge of the cylindrical inner form-resistant screen and all layers of the two-layer set of strips from the entrance of the rocket engine.
Also, the problem is solved due to the fact that the through holes are formed from the holes aligned during winding, made in the internal form-resistant screen, and a series of holes made in a two-layer set of strips, and the holes in the two-layer set of strips are made in the center along its entire length with a variable, a constantly increasing distance between them, while the distance between the first two holes is equal to the distance of the semicircle between the two holes in the inner form-resistant screen.
The installation and fixing of brackets in the through holes formed in a two-layer set of strips and a cylindrical internal shape-resistant screen, allows to provide high thermal insulation ability of EVTI due to ensuring the same gaps between the layers of the heat-insulating screen during operation of the rocket engine.
Making holes in a two-layer set of strips in the center along its entire length with a variable, ever-increasing distance between them allows you to form through holes due to the exact combination of these holes.
The invention is illustrated by drawings, where in FIG. 1 shows a general view of the EVTI of a rocket engine; FIG. 2 - remote element A; in FIG. 3 - a two-layer set of strips before winding.
Screen-vacuum thermal insulation is made in the form of a two-layer set of
The manufacture of EVTI is as follows:
3.A two-layer set of
The inventive design of screen-vacuum thermal insulation has successfully passed the cycles of ground experimental testing with a temperature effect of about 1000 ° C and has shown high and stable thermal insulation characteristics.
