Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, in particular to therapy, cardiology, endocrinology and medical psychology, and can be used to treat patients with metabolic syndrome and emotionally pathological eating behavior.
The disadvantages of this group of drugs are a long latent period (up to 4 weeks), a high likelihood of developing side effects such as increased symptoms of anxiety and the appearance of trembling in the first two weeks of administration, which can negatively affect the compliance of patients; the risk of developing serotonin syndrome; the need for the attending physician special training in the field of psychotherapy.
РФ №2302242].Closest to the claimed is a method of correcting a violation of psychoemotional status (in particular, asthenic manifestations, neurotization, personal and reactive anxiety, depression) in patients with celiac disease using bioactive additives "Normoflorin Lacto" 20 ml 2 times a day and "Normoflorin Bifido" for 20 ml 1 time per day for 28-30 days as adjunctive therapy [US Pat. RF №2302242].
The disadvantage of the method selected as a prototype is the need to use drugs as part of complex therapy, and therefore it is difficult to evaluate the isolated effectiveness of the bioactive additives Normoflorin Lacto and Normoflorin Bifido. In addition, an inconvenient mode of use (the frequency of administration without taking into account the main therapy is 3 times a day, the drug must be stored in the refrigerator, it must be diluted 1: 2 with any food liquid before use and immediately consumed) and the duration of treatment can lead to a decrease in adherence patient for treatment.
The objective of the present invention is the simultaneous normalization of intestinal microflora and a decrease in the severity of anxiety in a patient.
The technical result of the task is achieved by the fact that in the method of treating anxiety disorders in patients with eating disorders, including pharmacotherapy, Bak-Set Forte is orally administered for 2 weeks.
Intestinal microorganisms are able to synthesize neurotransmitters and, through them, influence the psychoemotional state of a person. Therefore, by restoring the normal composition of the intestinal microflora, violations of the patient's psycho-emotional state can be corrected.
The advantage of BakSet Forte over other probiotic agents is primarily due to its composition - 14 bacterial strains (Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Lactococcus, Streptococcus) needed to restore microbiocenosis and their higher concentration. This contributes to greater efficacy of the drug in comparison with analogues (taking into account the natural losses of the body) and provides the possibility of its wider use in disorders of the microbiotic composition of various origins.
The best way to restore the disturbed microflora composition and achieve the effect of reducing anxiety is to use the drug for two weeks. A shorter duration of the drug does not lead to a restoration of the intestinal biocenosis and, as a result, does not reduce the level of anxiety, and a longer one does not significantly change the effectiveness.
The method is as follows. For treatment, a standard therapeutic dose of Bak-Set Forte is used - 1 capsule 210 mg 2 times a day with meals. The duration of treatment is 2 weeks.
Patient K., 56 l. He enrolled in St. Petersburg GBUZ "Elizabethan Hospital" with decompensation of diabetes. From the anamnesis it is known that a patient with metabolic syndrome lasting more than 15 years has subclinically expressed anxiety (9 points on the HADS scale). Also, with the help of the “Dutch DEBQ eating behavior questionnaire”, the patient showed signs of a mixed type of pathological eating behavior (the restrictive component was 2.7 points, the emotional component was 2.0 points). As additional therapy, treatment was carried out by the claimed method. After treatment, the control analysis showed a trend towards normalization of the level of Bifidobacterium to 1129.20 lgKOE / ml and Lactobacillus spp. up to 13364.48 lgKOE / ml. According to the results of the repeated questionnaire, there is a positive trend in the form of a decrease in the severity of the emotiogenic component in the DEBQ questionnaire to 1.15 points, as well as a decrease in the level of anxiety on the HADs scale (4 points, which corresponds to the norm).
The application of the proposed method makes it possible not only effective treatment of intestinal dysbiosis, but also a decrease in the severity of anxiety of patients, which allows you to indirectly affect eating behavior and contribute to weight loss in patients with metabolic syndrome.
The inventive method is simple, safe, effective and does not require medical monitoring of the patient's condition, laboratory parameters and the functioning of vital functions. The drugs of this group are freely available in the pharmacy network and do not require the provision of prescription forms.
