Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of electronic technology and can be used for selective reading of information.
The known principle of RFID tags falling into the scope of the reader [1]. An excited label using radio waves returns to the reader the code stored in the label memory. If several RFID tags fall into the scope of the reader at the same time, all tags return a code to the reader. If it is necessary to selectively obtain information from a specific tag, this principle of operation becomes a drawback, since it is impossible to distinguish one code from another in the mass of codes read from tags.
The objective of the invention is to uniquely identify the code of the desired label context while reading several RFID tags for recording and (or) selective reading of information.
This is achieved by the fact that the reader of RFID tags in advance, before reading information RFID tags, reads the service RFID tag beacon, which defines the context identifier in the form of a code for the selective selection of the required information tag from many. In addition to the information code, the code of belonging to the context is stored in the memory of information labels. The microcontroller connected to the reader selects only the tag from the set of tags for which the context code matches the context code of the previously read beacon tag. For further processing, only the code of the selectively selected label is supplied.
In FIG. Figure 1 shows the scheme for selective reading of RFID tags, where
FIG. 1 Scheme for selective reading of RFID tags
The method is as follows:
(4).The RFID reader (1) tags in advance, before reading the RFID tag information, reads the service RFID tag beacon (2), which determines the context of the selective selection of the desired information tag from many. In this case, the RFID tag reader (1) reads the tags in the sequence from the beacon tag (2) to the information tags (3) and (4).
In addition to the information code, the code of belonging to the context is stored in the memory of information labels.
When reading the beacon mark (2), the microcontroller connected to the reader (1) receives a context code. After reading the beacon tag, the information tags (3) and (4) are read. The microcontroller connected to the reader compares the context code of the read information tags with the previously stored beacon tag context code. When comparing the context code, the microcontroller selectively selects only that information label, which in context matches the context of the previously read beacon label. For subsequent processing, only the information code of the selectively selected label is supplied. Information mark data, the context of which did not coincide with the context of the beacon mark, is ignored by the microcontroller and is not submitted for further processing. Thus, it is possible to obtain information from a selectively selected tag while reading a large number of tags.
A possible application of this technology is the processing of a “friend or foe” situation, for example, when counting parts on a conveyor belt, placing cargo in warehouses, and calculating the traffic of cars when crossing roadways.
This technology allows, from the set of read information labels, to process information of only those labels whose context coincides with the context of the beacon label, which, in turn, improves the accuracy and relevance of the data obtained.
