Abstract
Description
The alleged invention relates to the electrical industry and to the field of road transport and can be used to improve the readiness of vehicles at low temperatures.
Known heated battery, comprising a housing, blocks of positive and negative electrodes, separated by separators, placed separately in the housing, the electrical leads of the electrode blocks and the heater. [[RF patent №2088001 IPC
In the known heated rechargeable battery, the heater is made in the form of a thermostat, inside of which a battery and an electric heater are located.
1991].One of the operating conditions of a known rechargeable battery is to ensure the temperature range of operation within + 45 ÷ -18 ° C. When the temperature decreases below the limiting value, the electrolyte solvates (hydrates), the ion mobility decreases, the charge capacity decreases, and the battery current drops. To restore performance, the battery is heated to the operating temperature range. A prerequisite for batteries with liquid electrolyte is to ensure the appropriate temperature. At ambient temperatures below critical, forced heating is necessary to ensure battery operation. There are technical solutions to expand the operating temperature, but in the forehead case the task of further reducing the temperature of using batteries remains. [Dasoyan M.A. and others. Starter batteries. M .; Transport, 1991].
1991].The disadvantages of the known rechargeable battery are the need for an external electric source to power the thermostat heaters, as well as changed overall parameters that do not allow the battery to be used in vehicles without changing their design. The overall parameters of the thermostat require a change in the design of the installation locations of the battery on the vehicle, which represents great organizational and economic difficulties. [Dasoyan M.A. and others. Starter batteries. M .; Transport, 1991].
Closest to the present invention is a heated battery comprising a housing, blocks of positive and negative electrodes separated by separators, placed separately in the housing, electrical leads of electrode blocks, and a heater.
In a known battery, the heater is made in the form of thin copper strips pressed into a polyethylene tape, placed inside the battery case in the electrolyte, and the heater is powered by a current of a heated battery. Heating from an external electrical source is possible, but there are no external sources in the road and field conditions.
In the known heated battery, the heating of the electrolyte directly in the free space of the battery accelerates the time of heating of the electrolyte in the working space of the pores of the electrodes in comparison with external heating through the housing. However, heating the package of electrodes with heat transfer from the ends of the electrodes and from the extreme plates in the middle takes considerable time.
Another disadvantage of the known rechargeable battery is unproductive consumption of charge capacity and reduction of charge capacity when heated, that is, in preparation for work. Bringing the battery in working condition for thermal conditions due to the selection of the current for heating can withdraw from the working state of charge capacity.
The alleged invention is aimed at reducing the heating time, increasing readiness and increasing the current efficiency of the battery in low temperature conditions.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in a heated battery comprising a housing, blocks of positive and negative electrodes separated by separators placed separately in the housing, electrical leads of electrode blocks, and a heater, the heater contains a heat transmitter connected to electrical leads through insulating connectors, the source thermal energy, placed in a heat transmitter and a heat insulating cover located above the free surface of the heat transmitter.
A distinctive feature of the present invention is that the heater contains a heat transmitter connected to the electrical leads through the electrically insulating heat-conducting connectors, and the source of thermal energy is placed in the heat transmitter.
The figure shows the functional diagram of the heated battery.
The heated rechargeable battery (hereinafter referred to as the battery) contains the
The proposed heated battery works as follows. In the
When the battery is heated by a thermostatic method, the working space of the battery heats up only after heating the free fraction of the electrolyte solution. The ratio of the heats with thermostated heating device and the proposed device and makes Q t / C offers small t = m with m / m offers small offers small c = 6.4 2800/35 140 = 3.6 times.
With all the assumptions in favor of a temperature-controlled device, the latter turns out to be more costly for thermal energy.
Comparative analysis showed that in terms of heat consumption and heating time, the proposed invention has significant advantages. With lead thermal conductivities of 35 W / (m K) and water of 0.6 W / (m K), the heat transfer rate of the proposed device is 35 / 0.6 = 58 times faster.
