Description of the invention
Technical Field:
The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be applied to improve the reliability of the created excitation systems of synchronous electric machines. The invention allows to simplify the development of excitation systems, simplifies preventive monitoring of the system during operation and contributes to a greater unification of the components of the excitation systems of different capacities.
The level of technology:
The development of excitation systems was based on the accumulation of the achievements of power electronics, microprocessor technology and the theory of electrical devices. At the same time, when creating excitation systems, units, parts and components that are widely used in industry without taking into account the special requirements for excitation systems were combined. The special features of excitation systems include the need to ensure high reliability of operation while simultaneously solving complex computational problems of the regulatory process, problems of noise-free control of powerful thyristor converters, and tasks of controlling switching devices that commute significant currents and voltages. In this case, they use such design solutions as the separation of microprocessor computing power with low-current circuits and high-current circuits of thyristor converters and switching devices. With such solutions, the reliability of the excitation system as a whole is determined by ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of different devices, ensuring the process of conducting periodic inspections and tests.
For a detailed consideration of the problems of the circuit implementation of the existing excitation systems, we select the following groups of elements in their structure:
1. Группу источников питания (трансформаторы, аккумуляторные батареи, преобразователи уровней напряжения);1. A group of power sources (transformers, batteries, voltage level converters);
2. Группу устройств регулирования и управления (регуляторы, контроллеры управления, панели управления операторов, локальные схемы автоматики);2. A group of devices for regulation and control (regulators, controllers, operator control panels, local automation schemes);
3. Группу коммутационных аппаратов (контактор устройства гашения поля, контактор шунтирования ротора, контактор начального возбуждения, автоматы рабочего и резервного ввода, контакторы системы охлаждения);3. A group of switching devices (field quenching contactor, rotor shunting contactor, initial excitation contactor, operating and backup input automata, cooling system contactors);
4. A group of power semiconductor switches (thyristors, thyristor power rectifier bridges, thyristors of arresters protecting the rotor against overvoltage).
All of the above groups are connected by wired connections, combining devices into a single system. At the same time, the system uses both high-power devices that are sources of interference (switching devices, semiconductor switches) and low-power devices with low energies of control signals (group of control and control devices), as well as devices connecting powerful and low-power devices. elements - devices of power supply group. The design task of reducing the influence of groups on each other is solved by the designers individually, for each system, based on their own rules, and is always a kind of compromise possible for the system being created.
The objective of the invention is to develop solutions to simplify the construction of the circuit of the excitation system, while avoiding conflicts when implementing the requirements of different groups. The closest to the proposed invention is an attempt to solve the problems set forth in the patent RU 2421866. The invention solves similar problems for high-voltage converters of soft-start devices and speed control of high-voltage asynchronous and synchronous electric motors. When using this invention for excitation systems, it is impossible to completely solve the set technical problems, since the task of controlling the excitation system includes, in addition to the task of controlling the thyristors, the task of controlling switching devices. The present invention is distinguished by the focus on solving problems of excitation systems and the presence of a common microprocessor control device, both for power semiconductor switches and for switching devices. Also, an important difference is that the invention does not solve the problem of minimizing equipment damage during emergency outages of thyristors and switching devices, as well as the problem of ensuring the possibility of periodically conducting insulation tests of power circuit elements. In the present invention, the solution of these problems is emphasized.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
The invention is based on modern achievements of radio electronics, such as:
1. Industrial development of the production of fiber-optic cable products and as a result, reducing the cost of selling fiber-optic communication channels. Fiber optic patch cords and connectors for connecting them are standard products manufactured by enterprises in a wide range.
2. Industrial development of the production of transistors manufactured by carbide-silicon technology. In such transistors, the likelihood of electrical breakdown is reduced, operating temperatures have increased, and switching losses are significantly reduced, which allows increasing the range of their operating frequencies, as a result of which the mass and dimensions of inductive and capacitive components of the circuits are reduced.
3. Появление нанокристаллических материалов на основе железа, позволяющих создать магнитопроводы, работающие на высоких частотах с низкими потерями;3. The appearance of nanocrystalline materials based on iron, allowing to create magnetic circuits operating at high frequencies with low losses;
4. The emergence of single-board computers of large computational power, allowing to solve all the necessary computational problems in a single computing node, which eliminates the need to work with several types of application user software.
Based on the latest achievements of technology, there are prerequisites for creating a new control system for the excitation system with enhanced insulation resistance, which would solve the following technical problems:
1. Обеспечено решение задач электромагнитной совместимости на схемном уровне, не зависимо от частных конструкторских решений по размещению оборудования и коммутационных связей;1. The solution of electromagnetic compatibility problems at the circuit level is ensured, regardless of the particular design decisions for the placement of equipment and switching connections;
2. Обеспечена возможность проведения периодических проверок изоляции силовой части системы возбуждения, путем проведения высоковольтных испытаний без создания угроз повреждения низковольтных цепей регулирующей и управляющей частей системы;2. It is possible to conduct periodic inspections of the insulation of the power part of the excitation system, by conducting high-voltage tests without creating threats to damage the low-voltage circuits of the regulating and controlling parts of the system;
3. Обеспечена возможность отказа от локальных микропроцессорных узлов, размещаемых в силовой части, таких как схема импульсно фазового управления, схема управления тиристорами разрядника ротора, устройств управления охлаждением и становиться возможен переход на единый центр решения задач регулирования и управления;3. It is possible to abandon local microprocessor nodes located in the power section, such as the pulse-phase control circuit, the control circuit of the thyristors of the rotor arrester, cooling control devices, and it becomes possible to switch to a single center for solving regulation and control tasks;
4. The task of localizing the spread of accidental damage to the entire system if one of the excitation system nodes is damaged.
It should be noted that the above tasks did not arise immediately, but also appeared in the process of evolution of the excitation systems. In the early stages of development of excitation systems, when using relay-contactor logic and magnetic amplifiers in the control loop, the systems were resistant to interference and single high-voltage voltage pulses. Problems accumulated gradually, while transferring solutions from other industries to the design of excitation systems, without adapting them to the specifics of the excitation systems. This was also facilitated by economic conditions, when, due to the insignificance of the market for excitation systems, it was not advisable to produce a small-scale device for highly specialized devices, but it was advantageous to use a node from the general industrial series. The present invention solves the above technical problems.
The subject of the invention is the control system of the excitation system which is fundamentally different from all previously used in that it contains a separation of the delivery to the control objects of the control signal and energy to control. At the same time, the delivery of control signals is realized only with the use of fiber-optic communication lines, and the energy is delivered by creating an isolated high-frequency electric AC network within the excitation system. The selection of such a network is an essential condition for increasing insulation resistance, since the use of high frequencies allows the use of compact galvanic transformer isolators with a high level of isolation.
The principle of separation and separation for each control object - a thyristor or switching device - information signals arriving through the optical channel and energy input channels (power supplies), which serve to energize the object when the control is implemented, eliminates mutual electromagnetic influence on the power supply or control circuits various thyristors or switching devices on each other. The complete elimination of electrical control signals and the transition to optical control channels allows you to:
1. Обеспечить идеальную помехоустойчивость;1. Provide perfect noise immunity;
2. Унифицировать выходы управления и регулирования - все выходы контрольно-регулирующего устройства выполняются с одним типом оптического разъема соединителя и одним типом источника излучения. Становиться возможным объединения регулирующей части (регулятора, в классическом понимании) и контроллера управления в едином устройстве, без разделения программного обеспечения и без необходимости пересылки друг другу части сигналов;2. Unify control and regulation outputs - all outputs of the control and regulating device are performed with one type of optical connector of the connector and one type of radiation source. It becomes possible to combine the regulatory part (the regulator, in the classical sense) and the control controller in a single device, without separating the software and without having to send parts of signals to each other;
3. The setup is greatly simplified - in the case of the simplest diagnostics, it is possible to visually determine the presence of radiation from one or another control channel. At the same time, instruments are not required for measuring, for example, voltage and current levels, as well as analyzing the signal spectrum for the shape of its useful component. It is just as easy to check the receiving part - using a test radiation source - the same for all control objects in the excitation system.
2.In FIG. 1, the block diagram proposed by the invention, separate in classical excitation systems, control and control devices, degenerates into a single
The channel of energy supply to the control objects, or the power supply channel, remains the only critical, from the point of view of reliability, constructive link. Mutual electromagnetic interference is a threat to the functioning, as well as local insulation reductions that are possible during operation. To maximize the attenuation of these factors, the invention uses the power supply circuit of control objects (thyristors and switching devices) using the common for all devices of the power bus AC voltage in the frequency range from 50 to 1000 kilohertz. The source of this voltage is an
1. При повреждениях изоляции, не позволяет токам, имеющим опасные по величине постоянные и низкочастотные (промышленной частоты) составляющие токов, из зоны повреждения, проникать в неповрежденные части системы;1. In case of insulation damage, it does not allow currents having dangerous constant and low-frequency (power frequency) components of the currents from the damage zone to penetrate the intact parts of the system;
2. При возможных коротких замыканиях в цепях нагрузок позволяет избежать критического снижения напряжения на шине питания;2. In case of possible short circuits in the load circuits, it helps to avoid critical reduction of the voltage on the power bus;
3. Allows you to conduct insulation testing with a constant high test voltage without first disassembling the circuit and without creating threats to damage electronic components.
For direct impact on control objects, such as switching devices 6 and power semiconductor switches 7,
The invention may have alternative versions aimed at improving the reliability of operation. Thus, in one of the embodiments of the invention, it is possible to use a microprocessor control device having one or several repeating copies of it reserving each other, with identical functions and structure, the emitters of which form synchronous light fluxes into optical control channels. This option allows the system to function in the event of a microprocessor failure. It is also possible variant implementation of the invention, when the light from the radiation sources is divided into a translucent mirror and follows to the receiver via mutually redundant optical communication channels, uniting at the receiver. Such an embodiment of the invention will be more resistant to damage to fiber-optic links. If you wish to increase the reliability of energy transmission to control objects, it is possible to variantly implement the invention using an isolated high-frequency electrical network with more than one phase, for example, two or three phases.

The implementation of the invention
The implementation of the control system proposed by the invention involves both the use of industrially manufactured components, such as fiber optic communication lines, switching devices, power semiconductor switches, a microprocessor control device, and the creation of new devices, such as an AC converter, control boosters . At the same time, the creation of new devices does not represent technological difficulties, since it represents the integration of the components and components used in production into the necessary structures. Thus, the use of high-frequency electrical circuit for galvanic isolation is widely used in the circuit design of building energy-saving lamps and charging power supplies for household devices, and the use of fiber-optic communication lines is widely used in the construction of structured cabling networks of enterprises and circuit technology well developed in the production of network switches . Increasing the frequency of the power supply network eliminates the use of electrolytic capacitors, which contributes to an increase in the service life of the created excitation systems. The use of the invention by the designers of the excitation systems makes it possible to more easily create high quality excitation systems.
