Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the serial production of bulky large composite panels and can be used in the manufacture of panels with a multilevel surface with protruding and recessed areas of various shapes and with various surface reliefs intended for mounting additional equipment. The present invention may find application in mechanical engineering, aerospace and shipbuilding industries.
In the above-mentioned branches of technology, installation in large-sized curved thin-walled panels of devices and devices having various overall dimensions, weight and connection requirements is carried out using fastening devices (for example, brackets). Installation of the latter requires machining of the manufactured panel to prepare protruding above the surface of the panel or recessed areas for mounting equipment. To ensure tight contact, the pad is usually milled taking into account the geometry of the bottom of the attached element of the equipment or device.
It should also be noted that usually mounting brackets and other devices for mounting equipment and devices significantly increases the total weight of the panel due to the connecting elements and materials, and additional machining (milling) reduces its strength characteristics.
The development of aviation technology in recent years is based on the introduction of new materials and methods of their integration into aircraft structures, which should, on the one hand, ensure operational safety, and on the other, economic efficiency. An example of this approach is the use of polymer composite materials with high strength characteristics.
A panel is described (RU No. 2518519, published 10.06.2014) made of a layered composite material, consisting of a casing layer bonded to power sets from a system of intersecting ribs. In this case, ribs of various thickness and height are formed from layers of unidirectional threads and (or) fabric, interconnected by a polymer binder. In addition, solar panels or foil can be placed on the outer surface of the skin. However, this patent does not describe how to attach additional equipment to a smooth, gentle surface.
A known method of manufacturing multilayer structural panels (RU No. 2508496, publ. 02.27.2014), intended primarily for the manufacture of thin finned power panels. In it, first, on the surface of the forming tool (mandrel), by laying out a flexible fiber-impregnated binder material, a first skin layer is created. Then, a structured assembled matrix of curly flexible capsules pre-filled with gas (in particular helium) is installed on it with gaps designed to form a power set of the panel. The ribs of the power set of the mesh structure are formed by continuously winding the fiber impregnated with a binder material into the gaps between the gas-filled capsules. After that, a casing layer is wound over the power set. Further formation of the next layers is carried out in a similar manner. Binder curing is carried out after completion of the formation of the multilayer structure. The disadvantages include the fact that the known method does not allow to obtain panels with protruding and recessed areas for attaching elements of equipment and devices without machining the panel, adversely affecting its characteristics of rigidity and strength, as well as without an undesirable increase in the weight of the panel.
A known method of manufacturing composite structures with integrated stiffeners (US No. 8628717, publ. 14.01.2014) for aircraft elements with stiffeners. According to an embodiment of the method, grooves are created on the surface of the technological tool for the mold, corresponding to the given geometry and dimensions of the stiffeners, and they can intersect and interconnect depending on the requirements. First, preforms for the stiffening ribs are formed from fibrous filler, which are laid in gutters, covered with fibrous tissue, packaged to create a vacuum, a thermosetting resin is introduced and cured. This method has several drawbacks as it allows you to get only composite fibrous elements, albeit with stiffeners of different heights, but which require further assembly into the panel, namely, the creation of a second cladding layer, the formation of multilevel platforms and the installation of fasteners for additional equipment and devices.
In addition, the process is based on the injection molding method, which requires the preliminary production of molds of the desired configuration, energy consumption, and technological holes are created in the panel for pouring thermosetting resin, which affect the stiffness and strength of the finished product
In the patent for US invention No. 9180629, publ. 07/14/2011, a method for the manufacture of monolithic composite panels with stacked stiffeners is described. It consists in the creation of matrices of various shapes that define the geometry of the stiffeners, their location with the formation of the general structure of the panel, processing the matrices with a fibrous filler impregnated with a reaction resin, and the formation of an outer shell of a fabric also impregnated with a binder. Then, the overall structure is placed on a metal molding tool, consisting of two halves repeating the geometry of the panel. The halves are closed and the resin is cured while the matrices are removed from the composite panel. To do this, the matrix is pre-cast from materials with a low melting point or soluble in certain solvents and made in the form of holes for removing matrix components from the panel. This method allows to obtain a monolithic composite panel with stiffeners of different geometry, but not prepared for mounting additional equipment and devices, as well as having holes that can affect the strength characteristics of the structure. In addition, in the manufacture of panels in this way, a set of high-precision, expensive molds is required.
Closest to the claimed invention is a method of manufacturing composite power panels (RU No. 2579779, publ. 04/10/2016), which consists in the fact that, first, a matrix with unevenly shaped figure grooves is formed on the mandrel to create a system of ribs of the frame power set - longitudinal, transverse, spiral and annular of various cross sections along the length of the ribs and different heights along the length of the ribs. In this case, the ribs of the power set are formed by winding into uneven grooves of the matrix of a flexible fibrous material impregnated with a binder. Then, on the edges of the frame form a casing layer by winding a flexible fibrous material. The curing of the binder is carried out after completion of the formation of the structure of the frame. The disadvantages of the proposed method, first of all, is that the manufactured structure does not bear the fastening elements of additional equipment and devices. In addition, the use of the technique of winding fibrous material around uneven matrices for the subsequent formation of a casing layer, on the one hand, does not guarantee the required shape and geometry of the recessed and protruding pads for subsequent installed devices, and on the other, uneven laying of the material often occurs when winding which leads to a difference in mechanical properties and, as a consequence, the appearance of stresses in the finished structure. And the use of “dry” winding when creating a casing layer requires the preliminary formation of channels for supplying a binder, which on the one hand is a labor-intensive process and takes production time, and on the other has a negative effect on the strength of the finished panel.
Summarizing the foregoing, the known method, in the main, does not provide volumetric panels formed with protruding and recessed platforms placed on the inner and outer sides of the panel for attaching equipment and instrument elements without machining the panel, and also does not include the installation of fastening elements for subsequent installation of additional equipment without undesirable weight gain, violation of the structural integrity and deterioration of its strength properties.
The objective of the present invention is to provide a cost-effective, easy-to-implement method for manufacturing bulk bulky composite panels of the required stiffness and strength, excluding machining of the finished product, as well as the additional installation of fasteners for the subsequent installation of equipment elements and devices.
The technical result of the proposed method is to simplify the manufacturing technology of curvilinear volumetric composite large-sized panels with a reinforcing frame, with multi-level platforms equipped with brackets for further fastening of equipment and devices.
The specified technical result is achieved by the method of manufacturing large composite panels, providing for the laying on the forming tool of the first casing layer of flexible fibrous material, the subsequent laying on it of a power reinforcing frame of flexible fibrous material to create multi-level uneven stiffening ribs and laying on top of the power reinforcing layer of the second reinforcing frame flexible fibrous material, the shape and surface relief of which th corresponds contacting side panel attachable elements and devices. At the same time, a fastening system for the elements to be connected is embedded in the formed panel directly during its manufacture and / or they provide holes for different levels of platforms for subsequent integration of the necessary fasteners into the panel. In the case of using dry fibrous material, the formed panel blank is impregnated with a binder composition, the curing of which is carried out after the completion of the panel forming cycle.
The essence of the proposed method is illustrated by drawings, which show the volumetric composite panel manufactured with its help: in FIG. 1 schematically shows a general view of the panel; FIG. 2 - versions of the power frame in the section of the panel, where 1 is the first surface of the skin layer of the panel, 2 is the rib of the power reinforcing frame, 3 is the main level of the skin layer of the panel, 4 is the protruding platform, 5 is the mount for the attached element, 6 is the recessed area , 7 - hole for mounting the attached element.
The method is as follows.
7.When forming a volumetric power panel on the main forming tool, the first surface of the casing layer of the
In an advantageous embodiment of the method, dry fibrous material is used, followed by impregnation of the formed panel blank with a binder. As a binder, a composition is used that sticks together filler layers of a flexible fibrous material, which, after polymerization, imparts high rigidity to the filler fibers. This provides greater strength and reliability of the panel while reducing labor costs for its manufacture and increasing the culture of production.
Another embodiment of the method may be the use of a fibrous material pre-impregnated with a binder composition, which reduces the consumption of the binder composition, but leads to some decrease in the strength characteristics of the panel.
Thus, on the surface of the first casing layer of the panel with the help of an auxiliary structure, a system of unevenly high rigid ribs of the frame power set is formed, corresponding to the requirements for the formed volume power panel depending on its purpose. Subsequent molding on the power set of the panel of the casing layer from uneven platforms of various shapes and with different surface reliefs, which provide a snug fit and firm attachment of devices and devices mounted on the panel (parts, assemblies), contributes to the economical use of the working volume of the product and increases the reliability of its operation, ensuring equal strength of structural elements and reducing its total mass.
In addition, the exclusion of the machining process increases the life of the panel by reducing the number of stress concentrators arising.
