SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, electrotherapy and can be used for therapeutic and prophylactic effects on the body under various pathological conditions and diseases. By adjusting the variable resistor, connected in series with the DC power source, a short-circuit current of 10–60 mcA is set. A known method of electrotherapy by finding biologically active points of the skin with high electrical conductivity, and exposure to them with direct electric current using a source with a voltage of not more than 8 volts (1).

A known method of influencing biologically active points with direct current of different polarity, which is carried out until the absolute values of the current of positive and negative polarity are equalized (2). However, all methods of influencing biologically active points are associated with the problem of determining and finding such points, which requires special qualifications of the medical staff. In addition, all methods of influencing biologically active points in most cases lead to pain relief, but not to cure the patient, especially since they do not always cure chronic diseases, therefore they are not effective enough.

Known methods of electrotherapy, not associated with exposure to biologically active points, but consisting in the action of direct current using (usually) flat electrodes on certain parts of the body. For example, there is a known method for the treatment of inflammatory suppurative lung diseases by applying direct current to the area of the projection of the focus, and to increase the effectiveness of treatment, medications are also introduced into the pulmonary artery (3).

A known method of treating cerebral arterial aneurysms by exposing the head to a constant current of 0.5-2.5 mA for 1-3 hours, the determining factor for the effectiveness of the treatment being the location of the electrodes — they are brought to the outer wall of the aneurysm (4).

The above methods have a fairly limited list of diseases, in the treatment of which they give a positive effect, which indicates their lack of effectiveness.

There is also a method of electrotherapy (5), which includes applying a direct current to the skin projection of a pathological lesion, characterized in that, in order to increase therapeutic efficacy, a positive electrode is placed on the oral mucosa, and the patient’s skin is exposed to a current of negative polarity through a needle electrode 4-25 points on an area of 1 cm ² with a current strength of 25-1000 mA for 15-60 s. In addition, in this method, the impact on the points is carried out sequentially through a multi-needle electrode.

Closest to the claimed method and selected as a prototype is the method of Voldemar Ragel - a method of electrotherapy of a person (6), which consists in exposing a person to an electric current, which affects the skin over the lesion with a constant current that does not exceed the threshold of acute pain , with the help of electrodes applied to the body, the electrodes are short-circuited before exposure to current, by setting an alternating resistor connected in series with a direct current source, it is set pour a short circuit current in the range of 10-60 μA, apply a negative electrode to the oral mucosa, a positive point electrode to the skin in the area of the lesion at the site of greatest pain, the initial current value is set between the thresholds of sensations and acute pain, which determine interrogation and on the patient’s sensory reactions, as the patient’s sensation decreases, the current gradually increases to 300-600 μA, not exceeding the threshold of acute pain, and they act at this point for 0 , 5-1.5 minutes, after which they similarly act on another point in the area of the lesion.

The task that the proposed method solves is to increase its efficiency and expand its functionality.

This problem is achieved by the fact that, in the known method of electrotherapy of a person in which they act on the skin over the lesion with a direct current of magnitude not exceeding the threshold of acute pain, using electrodes applied to the body, the electrodes are shorted before exposure to current by adjusting a variable resistor connected in series with a direct current source, set a short circuit current in the range of 10-60 μA, one of the electrodes is applied to the oral mucosa, the other, a point electric genus - to the skin in the area of the lesion at the site of the greatest pain, the initial current value is set between the thresholds of sensations and acute pain, which are determined by interrogation and by the patient’s sensory responses, with a decrease in the severity of the patient’s sensations, the current gradually increases to 300-600 μA, not exceeding the threshold of acute pain, and they act at a given point for 0.5-1.5 minutes, after which they similarly act on another point in the area of the lesion, before affecting the skin of the lower x extremities undergoing electrotherapy takes a sitting position, sets the feet on a swinging electromechanical platform of the foot simulator on multi-needle electrodes, then the platform is transferred to the “rocking” position using electric current, the effect is performed for 60 minutes, the electrode applied to the oral mucosa is positive , and to the patient’s skin at the lesion sites - negative.

The analysis of the prior art by the applicant, including a search by patent and scientific and technical sources of information, and the identification of sources containing information about analogues of the claimed invention, allowed to establish that the applicant did not find a source characterized by features identical to all the essential features of the claimed invention. The definition from the list of identified analogues of the prototype, as the closest in the totality of the features of the analogue, allowed us to establish a set of essential distinguishing features in relation to the technical result perceived by the applicant in the claimed method set forth in the claims.

Therefore, the claimed invention meets the condition of "novelty."

To verify the compliance of the claimed invention with the condition "inventive step", the applicant conducted an additional search for known solutions in order to identify features that match the distinctive features of the claimed method from the prototype. The search results showed that the claimed invention does not follow explicitly from the prior art for the specialist, since the influence of the transformations provided for by the essential features of the claimed invention is not revealed from the prior art determined by the applicant to achieve a technical result.

Therefore, the claimed invention meets the condition of "inventive step".

The proposed method is implemented using the device shown in FIG. 1. where:

The specified method is as follows.

When treating a patient with complications in the lower extremities, he assumes a sitting position on the couch, a foot trainer is installed in front of the couch, his feet are placed on a swinging textolite platform (2), mounted on a shaft (3). After a long search (experts kept saying “what nonsense ??”), I managed to find someone who showed interest in the method and device in connection with problems with their own health. He got acquainted with a book, Internet materials and patents, and a couple of days later he brought me a finished device in which some elements required clarification.

After a telephone conversation with Voldemar Dominicovich, the ambiguities were removed, but at that time I flew away on a business trip, so I took the device with me in the form it was. And on the way back, I jumped to my homeland, where near Rostov-on-Don I visited my older sister Lyubov Stepanovna, born in 1938, who practically did not walk on her own due to back problems. After several sessions, she herself got out of bed, which indicated the operability of the device and method, so I left the device for her for further treatment. Now she moves around the room on her own. Hoping for the best.
