Abstract
Description
The invention relates to drilling equipment, namely to drill bits of predominantly cutting type.
2.3.10).A well-known drilling tool, including a housing with a matrix, the outer surface of which is divided by flushing grooves into sectors reinforced by wear-resistant inserts (see Maslennikov IK. Reference book "Drilling tool", M .: Nedra, 1989, pp. 221-230, Fig. 2.3.10).
The disadvantages of this drilling tool include the high energy intensity of the rock destruction process and the low drilling speed due to the rapid blunting of wear-resistant inserts.
Е21В 10/46, 1993 г).The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved result is a drill bit containing a body with a cylindrical section, a flushing channel and a working end reinforced with rock cutting inserts (see ed. St. USSR No. 1838569, class E21B 10/46, 1993).
The disadvantage of this drill bit is the relatively low efficiency of its work due to the unilateral wear of rock cutting inserts.
In connection with the stated technical result of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the drill bit.
The specified technical result is achieved by the fact that in a drill bit containing a housing with a cylindrical section, a flushing channel and a working end reinforced with rock cutting inserts, according to the invention, a closed groove is made in the cylindrical section of the housing, which has a sinusoid or cosine shape in the frontal plane and serves to accommodate the rock cutting inserts made in the form of balls, the diameter of which is greater than the width of the grooves, while the outer surface of the balls is reinforced with wear-resistant material.
The invention is illustrated by drawings, where in FIG. 1 shows a general view of the bit, (longitudinal section), in FIG. 2 - a fragment of a bit.
The drill bit includes a housing 1 with a flushing
The principle of operation of the drill bit is as follows. After lowering the drill bit pipe on the string, axial load and torque are applied to it. Under the influence of these forces, rock-breaking elements 8 of the drill bit are introduced into the rock and destroy it. Due to the spherical shape of the rock-cutting elements 8, they rotate in the grooves 6 of a sinusoidal or cosine shape and come in contact with the rock in different parts of the outer surface. This increases their working surface, which in turn increases the penetration of the bit. This also contributes to the reinforcement of the outer surface of the balls 8 with wear-resistant material. The sinusoidal or cosine shape of the grooves 6 guarantees high-quality calibration of the walls of the wells due to the forced rotation of the balls 8, which is especially important when drilling on hard and hard rocks.
Thus, the use of the proposed drilling tool will improve the efficiency of drilling operations due to increased penetration and mechanical drilling speed.
