Abstract
Description
6, с. 472-476, Андрианов A.M. The invention relates to the halurgy and hydrometallurgy of uranium and can be used to extract and concentrate uranium from natural waters and dilute solutions during the neutralization and treatment of wastewater in the hydrometallurgy of uranium. Known methods for the extraction of uranium from dilute solutions and natural waters using hydroxide-containing materials as sorbents (see: Laskorin BN and others. Extraction of uranium from natural waters. Atomic energy, 1977, No. 43, issue 6, p. 472 -476, Andrianov AM et al. Sorption of uranium by an industrial sample of titanium hydroxide, Radiochemistry, 1977, No. 19, issue 6, pp. 784-786, a method for extracting uranium from imitate sea water using mixed copper and nickel hydroxide granulated by freezing gel - copyright certificate SU 1349288 from 02.01.86). The advantage of inorganic sorbents over ion exchange resins is their selectivity with respect to uranium during sorption from dilute solutions with high salinity. A common disadvantage is the low sorption capacity.
Closest to the claimed invention in terms of similar features is a method of extracting uranium from simulated sea water using a mixture of schungite and hydroxides of copper and nickel (see: Zelenin V.I., Saduakasova A.T., Samoilov V.I., Kulenova N. .A., Zyapaeva TA Method of extracting uranium from simulated seawater. / Materials for the 12th international scientific and practical conference, “Support studies”, - 2016. Volume 11. Technologies. Physical culture and sports. Sofia. “Byal GRAD-BG "OOD. S 8-11). The disadvantage of the prototype method is the relatively low content of uranium in the sorbent after sorption.
The problem to which the invention is directed, is to increase the degree of uranium extraction and to obtain uranium concentrate with a higher content.
7:1.The essence of the proposed method for the extraction of uranium is that, in contrast to the known prototype method, including sorption on a hydroxide-containing material, chemically activated schungite modified with zinc hydroxide at a ratio of schungite: zinc hydroxide equal to 7: 1 is used as a sorbent.
For the implementation of the proposed method was used Koksu shungite with a particle size of + 0.5-1 mm and composition:
The invention can be illustrated as follows.
Example. Shungite particles with a size of + 0.5-1 mm were kept for 30 min in zinc solution acidified to pH 1 with a content of the latter of 31 g / l, then zinc hydroxide was precipitated at pH 8 with sodium hydroxide. After the schungite was wound off from zinc hydroxide not fixed on the surface of the particles, sorption of uranium was carried out under dynamic conditions similar to the test conditions for a sorbent from a mixture of schungite and copper and nickel hydroxides. The test results are shown in the table.
As can be seen from the table, the total dynamic exchange capacity of the modified schungite is higher than that of a sorbent from a mixture of schungite and copper and nickel hydroxides. As a result of the test, a 6.35% uranium concentrate was obtained. The degree of extraction of uranium from a solution in the present method compared with the prototype method increased from 84.92% to 86%. The desorption of sorbed uranium is carried out almost completely (> 90%) with the same mass ratio of eluent and sorbent for the prototype and mixed hydroxide.
