Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of arts and crafts in the manufacture of artificial flowers made of metal, designed to decorate fences, gates, furniture, staircases and balconies.
A known method of manufacturing flowers from metal (SU 1736401 A1, class A41G 1/00, 05/30/1992), in which a blank is drawn in the form of a strip of a certain width on the material, details of an artificial flower are applied, for example, petals, with a certain step between them , cut along the contour, combined into an artificial flower by folding. The disadvantage is the low manufacturability and the dissimilarity of the resulting flowers to live.
The closest analogue is a method of manufacturing flowers from metal (RU 2224448 C1, class A41G 1/00, 02.27.2004), in which details of flowers are cut from sheet metal, processed manually, giving them the appearance of a living flower, characterized in that the details of the colors are heated in the furnace, they work on the anvil, then make a blank for the flower bed. The specified method allows to increase the manufacturability of the manufacture of an artificial flower, but requires large time and material costs.
The objective of the invention is to improve the quality of the flower from metal, reducing time and material costs for the manufacture of flowers from metal.
The tasks are achieved through the use of metal rods as blanks for flower parts.
Figure 1 shows the blank for the flower petal, figure 2 - flower petal, figure 3 is a top view of the flower.
The proposed method of manufacturing artificial flowers is as follows. Take a metal rod with a diameter of 5.0 mm to 14.0 mm (Fig. 1), which serves as a blank for the future flower, heat one end in the hearth to the melting temperature of the metal from which the rod is made. Using rods of different diameters allows you to make petals of different sizes. The heated part of the rod is forged with a blacksmith hammer (using an electric blacksmith hammer 2-3 strokes are enough), giving it the appearance of a rose petal (figure 2). Then it is cooled and, with the help of a hammer and ticks, the petal is folded to a shape similar to that of a real rose. The resulting petal-shaped part is separated from the rod by cutting. The same rod is a blank for the following petals. The resulting parts, starting from the smaller flange, are welded to the metal base (metal rod) by gas or electric arc welding until the circle is completed, overlapping each next flap with an overlap on the previous one, thereby forming a spiral that can be seen by looking at the flower from above (Fig. 3). The first welded row of petals is heated in the furnace, then with the help of ticks and a hammer they are bent, bent so that the petals form a flower bud. After that, the second row of petals is welded to the same metal base (metal rod), just like in the first row, the petals overlap each other, in a spiral, from the smaller petal to the larger one. Then the welded second row of petals is heated in the hearth and bent with a hammer and ticks, bending thereby giving the shape of a flower. Having completed the assembly of the second row, they begin the third and fourth rows, doing all the actions in the same sequence. The result is a metal product similar to a real rose flower. Cut the resulting flower from a metal base (metal rod), remove all irregularities at the weld and cut.
The task is completed.
