Abstract

FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method lies in creation of electric discharge in electrolytic liquid between electrodes, divided in cuvette by diaphragm from dielectric material with a hole, and change of emitted spectrum of electrolytic liquid, formed under impact of electric discharge in the area of the hole. In the process of determination of composition of electrolytic liquids, light radiation with linear spectrum from lamp with hollow cathode is directed into cuvette; light radiation is received after its passing through electrolytic liquid vapours, formed under action of electric discharge, and simultaneously with measurement of radiated spectrum, measured is atomic-absorption spectrum of said vapours, in comparison and totality with analysed spectrum of electrolytic liquid vapours conclusion about electrolytic liquid composition is made.
EFFECT: increased self-descriptiveness of determination of electric liquid composition due to addition, comparison and combinability of analysed spectra of various types.

А далее - в группе G01N 21/00 (с помощью оптических средств) к подгруппе G01N 21/67 (с использованием электрических разрядов).The method for determining the composition of electrolytic fluids according to the International Patent Classification (IPC) in the physics section G belongs to the measurement and testing class G01, where it is assigned to the subclass G01N-research and analysis of materials by determining their chemical or physical properties. And then in the group G01N 21/00 (using optical means) to the subgroup G01N 21/67 (using electric discharges).

It implements a method for determining the qualitative and quantitative composition of electrolytic liquids (RF Patent No. 2179310, IPC 7 G01N 21/67, op.10.02.2000).

The method consists in creating an electric discharge in the analyzed electrolytic liquid between the electrodes separated by a diaphragm of a dielectric material with a hole, and measuring the spectra of vapor of the electrolytic liquid in the region of the hole.

The new method also consists in creating an electric discharge in an electrolytic liquid between the electrodes separated in a cuvette by a diaphragm made of a dielectric material with a hole, and measuring the emitted spectrum of electrolytic liquid vapors generated by an electric discharge in the region of the hole.

What is new in it is that light with a linear spectrum from a lamp with a hollow cathode is sent to the cuvette, which is received after passing it through the electrolytic liquid vapors that have arisen under the influence of an electric discharge, and the atomic absorption spectrum of these vapors is measured simultaneously with the measurement of the emitted spectrum. , in comparison and its totality with the emitted spectrum of electrolytic liquid vapors, the composition of the electrolytic liquid is judged.

The drawing shows schematically the implementation of a new method for determining the composition of an electrolytic liquid. Here, the creation of an electric discharge in an electrolytic liquid (horizontal strokes) between the electrodes 1, separated in a cuvette by a diaphragm 2 of a dielectric material with an aperture, and the measurement of the emitted spectrum 4 from an electrolytic vapor 3 caused by an electric discharge in the region of the aperture are shown.

8.It is also shown that the light radiation 6 with a linear spectrum, which is received simultaneously with the radiation generated by the electric discharge from the power source 7, is directed from the hollow cathode lamp 5 by a monochromator 8.

Simultaneously with the measurement of the emitted spectrum 4, the atomic absorption spectrum of the light radiation of 6 vapors 4 is measured. By comparing it with the emitted spectrum of 4 vapors 3 of the electrolytic liquid, the composition of the electrolytic liquid is judged.

The technical result of a new method for determining the composition of electrolytic liquids is to increase its information content by supplementing, comparing, and combining the studied spectra of various kinds - emitted and transmitted through the generated pairs of the studied and analyzed electrically conductive liquids.
