Abstract
Description
The invention relates to rocket technology and can be used in the construction of solid propellant rocket engines (solid propellant rocket engines) for primary and secondary (model engines) purposes.
A solid channel often has a central channel and at least one end that is detached from the bottom for strength reasons, which are firmly fastened on the outer surface with the body of solid fuel charges. In this case, the end face can be both burning and booked. The use of such designs of charges makes it possible to simplify the technological equipment for their manufacture as much as possible, since the channel is usually cylindrical, and complex equipment is not required to form a partially or completely burning end face. However, the class of charges under consideration has certain drawbacks associated with the presence of significant current deviations of the ballistic characteristics (VBH) from the average value (up to 15-20%), which cannot be reduced without significantly complicating the initial configuration of the combustion surface.
A solid propellant rocket engine according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2154183 (publication date 08/10/2000), comprising a housing with bottoms, a charge bonded to the housing, having a central channel provided with an annular gap, is known.
The charge design of the known technical solution allows to partially reduce the current deviations of the VBH. The separation of the charge into two parts using the provided design of the cuff with the tips, the location of the surfaces forming the burning surface of the annular gap, at an acute angle to each other, eliminated the fuel jumper between the apex of the annular gap and the engine housing and, thus, solve the strength issues related to operability of the charge structure, and slightly reduce the width of the gap along the entire diameter.
However, the known technical solution has several disadvantages associated with technological difficulties in the manufacturing process. In particular, the use of a traditional manufacturing scheme using technological equipment for forming an annular gap is complicated by the need to extract technological equipment, the height of which exceeds the diameter of the channel. The design of the snap-in, forming an annular gap, contains a large number of elements that require connection among themselves when assembling the snap-in in the housing and subsequent extraction after the manufacture of the charge. This is also a significant obstacle in order to minimize the acceptable for this design from the point of view of strength and gas dynamics disclosure of the compensator of the initial combustion surface in the form of an annular gap, which affects the increase in volumetric filling of the casing with fuel and, accordingly, the efficiency of the engine.
12).Known solid propellant rocket engine adopted for the prototype, comprising a housing with bottoms, a solid fuel charge bonded to it on the outer surface with a central channel and a compensator for the fuel combustion surface in the form of an annular gap ("Missile and space technology", No. 35, 1980, p.12) .
In the known construction, a simple channel configuration allows providing a pressure-time diagram with a lesser degree of deviation of the current characteristics from the average due to a change in the configuration of the transverse annular gap.
However, the design adopted for the prototype has several disadvantages. Cracks form at the top of the annular gap both during manufacturing and during operation, which is due to the high level of stress-strain state (VAT) of the charge in this zone and is explained by the fact that when the curb case is cooled, after fuel polymerization, at the top of the gap high stresses due to temperature shrinkage of the fuel and reverse elastic movements of the bottom and the cylindrical part of the body. In addition, in this zone, a decrease in the physicomechanical characteristics (FMX) of the fuel is observed, caused by squeezing the fuel out of the fuel in this binder zone, while fuel mass is crushed during the initial polymerization period, by diffusion of the plasticizer into the process cover, shape and ring gap. Therefore, the required level of deformation characteristics of the fuel for such a charge design is assigned on the basis of ensuring strength at the top of the annular gap, where the effective level of VAT is 30-40% higher than on the channel.
The objective of the invention is the development of the design of the solid propellant rocket motor, which allows to increase the efficiency of the engine by simultaneously reducing the stress-strain state of the charge and minimizing deviations of the current ballistic characteristics from the average value by making it possible to vary both the geometry of the annular gap and its positioning relative to the structural elements of the engine in accordance with the existing need while simplifying the required technological equipment webs for the manufacture of a charge of solid fuel with the minimum permissible opening of the annular gap.
The problem is solved by the claimed design of the solid propellant solid propellant rocket engine comprising a housing with bottoms, a solid fuel charge fastened with it on the outer surface, at least one end free from the housing elements, and a central channel equipped with a fuel combustion surface compensator. The peculiarity lies in the fact that the channel is made through or dull, the compensator for the fuel combustion surface is at least one annular gap, which is located at the front or rear bottom, is made at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the engine, while the radius of the apex of the gap is the size of its half width extending to the charge channel, or made at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the engine, smaller than the straight line, while the radius of the apex of the gap exceeds the size of its half width extending to the charge channel, and the geometry of the gap forms Wang non-removable shaper element, and the angle of inclination of the slit and the direction of tilt is selected based on the system configuration the bottom - the fuel and provide the requirements to the shape of the curve diagrams "pressure - time".
Проведенный сопоставительный анализ показывает, что заявляемое техническое решение отличается от прототипа вариабельным сочетанием геометрии кольцевой щели и ее позиционирования по отношению к конструктивным элементам двигателя в соответствии с существующей потребностью; пригодностью как для двигателя с глухим, так и сквозным каналом (в прототипе только глухой канал).A comparative analysis shows that the claimed technical solution differs from the prototype in a variable combination of the geometry of the annular gap and its positioning in relation to the structural elements of the engine in accordance with the existing need; suitability for an engine with a blind channel and a through channel (in the prototype only a blind channel).
The angle of inclination of the annular gap with respect to the longitudinal axis of the engine can vary in the range from 45 to 90 °, depending on the provision of the required burnout scheme and minimization of the formation of passive fuel residues. And depending on these conditions, the direction of inclination of the annular gap may change.
Of paramount importance for the implementation of such a design is the material of a non-removable form-forming element. The material must meet the following requirements: high chemical resistance, inertness, release properties, minimum coefficient of friction, suitability for machining, the persistence of physical and mechanical properties in the temperature range from minus 190 to plus 250 ° C. In this case, the burning rate of the material should be greater than or equal to the burning rate of the fuel. It is advisable to perform a non-removable forming element from a composite material (for example, fluoroplastic) or metal (for example, aluminum). One skilled in the art will recognize that these materials are not exhaustive for embodying the invention.
The prior art does not know the technical solution to the problem in which the proposed combination of features would take place.
