Abstract
Description
The invention relates to cluster munitions, the shell of which contains many individual damaging elements, mainly fragmentation-cumulative effects.
Известен поражающий элемент кассетного боеприпаса, содержащий корпус, состоящий из цилиндрической и донной частей, а также локализаторы дробления корпуса на осколки, выполненные в виде кольцевых проточек на внешней поверхности цилиндрической части, при этом проточки имеют коническую форму (патент РФ№2137087, МПК F42B 12/58),Known damaging element of cluster munition, containing a housing consisting of a cylindrical and bottom parts, as well as localizers crushing the body into fragments made in the form of annular grooves on the outer surface of the cylindrical part, while the grooves have a conical shape (RF patent No. 2137087, IPC F42B 12 / 58)
The disadvantages of this striking element are the presence of a “dead zone” of expansion of fragments in the gap between the fragmentation fields of the lower cylindrical and bottom parts, which leads to a decrease in the reduced area of damage, a small number of fragmentation locators, which leads to heterogeneity of the fragmentation field and an insufficient number of “killed” fragments, t .e. having the required energy to defeat.
Known for the damaging element of cluster munition, comprising a body including a cylindrical and bottom part, an explosive, a fuse and localizers for crushing the body into fragments made in the form of annular grooves on the outer surface of the cylindrical part of the housing, while the annular grooves are additionally made on the outer surface of the bottom part, which has a lively shape and a length greater than the length of the cylindrical part, while the annular grooves are made with a depth of 35-60% of the thickness of the body (RF patent No. 2277692, application 2004124601/02 from 12.08.2004, IPC F42B 12/66 - prototype).
This striking element of cluster munitions works as follows.
The meeting of the striking element with an obstacle causes the fuse to fire. In this case, through the hole in the end of the bottom of the body, the detonation pulse is transmitted to the explosive charge placed in the body, where a symmetrical blast wave is formed. As a result of the explosion, high pressures act on the inner surface of the casing, which leads to the expansion of its walls. Intense stresses arise in the material of the walls, the concentrators of which are annular grooves of rectangular cross section. As a result of this, the housing is divided into rings along the grooves. Further expansion of the rings leads to their spontaneous separation into fragmentation elements. As a result, a fragmentation field is formed, consisting of ring groups of fragments. The casing consists of a cylindrical part and a bottom part of an animated shape, therefore, the ring groups of fragments are evenly distributed in the meridional plane, which leads to the exclusion of the "dead zone" between the ring groups of the cylindrical and bottom parts. The ring groups of fragments of the cylindrical part move towards the surface of the barrier and provide damage in the near zone of the striking element. The ring groups of fragments of the bottom part scatter with elevation angles and provide damage at a greater distance as the transition from the cylindrical part of the body to the end of the bottom part.
The disadvantages of this device is that after an organized separation of the body into rings along the grooves, with the formation of several ring groups of fragments of approximately the same mass and size, further separation of the rings occurs arbitrarily, in a chaotic order. This leads to the subsequent formation of fragments of different masses and sizes, and, accordingly, various destructive forces, which, ultimately, reduces the effectiveness of the destructive action of the damaging element of cluster munitions.
The objective of the invention is to remedy these disadvantages and create a striking element of cluster munitions with the receipt of fragments of approximately the same optimal mass and speed with the technological suitability of the striking element for manufacture.
The solution to this problem is achieved by the fact that in the proposed striking element of a cluster munition containing a body including a cylindrical and bottom part, an explosive, a fuse and localizers for crushing the body into fragments made in the form of annular grooves on the outer surface of the body, according to the invention, the body is made, at least two shells, a continuous inner and a composite outer, consisting of several parts isolated from each other, and parts of the said outer shell are formed separately integral insulated rings mounted on the inner shell in such a way that the distance between their side surfaces is approximately equal to or less than the thickness of the inner shell at the place of their installation.
The distance between the side surfaces of the rings that act as power bands is chosen to be approximately equal to or less than the thickness of the inner shell at the place of their installation, from the condition of ensuring the strength of the non-supported part of the inner shell when exposed to detonation products.
In an embodiment, the annular grooves are formed by installing smaller spacers between the extreme rings.
In an embodiment, stress concentrators in the form of corrugations are made on the surface of the rings forming the outer shell.
In an embodiment, the rings forming the outer shell are mounted on the inner shell with interference.
In an embodiment, the annular grooves between the parts of the outer shell are 35-60% deep of the body thickness.
The optimized range of geometric parameters of the annular grooves of the outer shell of the housing created a new aggregate effect that is not inherent in the signs of their disunity.
The implementation of the annular grooves with a depth of 35-60% of the thickness of the body allows you to reduce the number of fragments of small fractions that are not "slaughter". At a depth of less than 35%, an uneven distribution and division into heterogeneous fractions occurs, and at a depth of more than 60%, the strength of the hull decreases.
The set of essential features of the invention allowed guaranteed to obtain a given crushing fragmentation shell of the shell of a cluster munition with semi-finished striking elements that have the necessary technical characteristics of their main action.
The invention is illustrated by drawings, where figure 1 shows a General view of the inventive device, figure 2 - the housing of the inventive device, figure 3 is a cross section of a ring.
The striking element of the cluster munition contains a housing 1, including a cylindrical 2 and bottom 3 parts. The housing 1 is made of at least two shells, a solid inner 4 and a composite outer 5, consisting of several parts isolated from each other. Localizers crushing the housing 1 into fragments made in the form of
8.Parts of the composite
11.Outside the casing, at the end of the bottom part 3, a fuse 9 is installed. A
11.The proposed device operates as follows. The meeting of the striking element with an obstacle leads to the operation of the fuse 9. At the same time, through the
3.As a result of this, a fragmentation field is formed, consisting of fragments having approximately equal given mass and geometric dimensions. The housing consists of a cylindrical part 2 and a bottom part 3 of a lively shape, so the groups of fragments are evenly distributed in the meridional plane. There is no "dead zone" between the groups of cylindrical 2 and bottom 3 parts. Groups of fragments of the cylindrical part 2 move towards the surface of the barrier and provide damage in the near zone of the striking element. Groups of fragments of the bottom part 3 scatter with elevation angles and provide damage at an ever greater distance as the transition from the cylindrical part 1 of the body to the end of the bottom part 3.
Using the proposed technical solution will allow you to create a striking element of cluster munitions with the receipt of fragments of approximately the same optimal mass and speed with the technological suitability of the striking element for manufacture.
