Abstract
Description
The invention relates to devices for monitoring and protecting the environment, in particular to devices for radiometric monitoring and decontamination of the area during radiation accidents of radiation-hazardous objects.
[2, 4].Known devices for the decontamination of surfaces such as degassing kits (DK-4), special equipment - auto-filling stations such as ARS-14, water-washing, washing-neutralizing, fire engines, helicopters [3], which can only be used to decontaminate the site of a radiation accident, including including using various compositions for liquid decontamination and / or polymer compositions for dry decontamination [2, 4].
The disadvantage of these devices is that they do not provide measurement of the activity of radioactive substances, monitoring the radiation situation and only involve decontamination of the site of the radiation accident with the participation of a person in its implementation directly in the area of the radiation accident. In addition, the disadvantages of such devices are the lack of efficiency - it takes considerable time to prepare the kits for work, to collect personnel and bring special equipment to the site of a radiation accident, as well as to take measures to ensure the safety of personnel.
A device is known - a gamma radiation equivalent dose rate meter - a GammaTRACER sensor [5] in the SkyLINK2000 gamma monitoring system [6], which measures the radiation situation on the ground.
The disadvantage of this system is that GammaTRACER sensors are laid on the ground in advance and transmit information about the state of a stationary radiation-hazardous object while the object itself can move.
Closest to the claimed is a device for determining the state of objects [1]. It is implemented on the basis of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), in which there are crash sensors with a receiving unit, a power source, storage units, commuting and signal units (observation device). Along the path of the UAV, the state of the objects after the nuclear impact is determined, and the information is quickly transferred to the unified system for identifying and assessing the consequences (ESWR) after the nuclear impact.
The disadvantage of this device is that it provides only observation of the object and the environment after a nuclear impact, without changing these processes and phenomena (does not decontaminate the area during radiation accidents of radiation-hazardous objects). The disadvantages include the inability to measure the alpha, beta radiation of fissile substances on an UAV.
The objective of the invention is to provide a device that quickly monitors the radiation situation and provides the measurement of all types of radiation (alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation) in the area of the radiation accident of a radiation-hazardous object and deactivates the area in the area of the radiation accident without personnel .
The above problem is solved due to the fact that the device contains an unmanned aerial vehicle, a device for monitoring the radiation situation, a device for the decontamination of radioactive substances combined into a single design assembly. Moreover, a set of radiometric sensors equipped with parachutes has been introduced into the radiation monitoring device. This provides operational monitoring of the radiation situation and measures the alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation of fissile materials in the area of the radiation accident and the decontamination of the area in the area of the radiation accident and the protection of personnel from radiation contamination.
New features in the present invention is the combination in one device of measuring and decontamination of radioactive substances and the ability to measure all types of radiation of fissile substances.
13.The invention is illustrated by the drawing, which shows the actual device for radiometric observation and decontamination of terrain I, consisting of an unmanned aerial vehicle 1, a device for monitoring radiation conditions 2, a device for decontamination of radioactive substances 3, control device 4. The device for monitoring radiation situation II consists of a device activating (resetting) the set of radiometric devices 5 and the radiometric device assembly 6. The radiometric device assembly III consists of rad an isometric sensor 7 (sensor of the GammaTRACER type), a parachute 8, a parachute actuation device 9. The radioactive decontamination device IV consists of a container with a decontamination composition 10, a neck 11, a shut-off valve 12, and an unlock (open) device for the shut-off valve 13.
In operation, a device for radiometric monitoring and decontamination of the terrain works as follows.
In the initial position, the kit (UAV and device) is stored in the immediate vicinity of a radiation hazardous facility.
In the event of a radiation accident, the kit is quickly deployed to its working position, the device is prepared for operation, and the aircraft is launched. Moving at the altitude of the radioactive cloud, the radiation monitoring device measures the radiation situation, the activation (reset) device resets radiometric devices. The parachute trigger device opens the parachute, the radiometric device drops to the ground. After resetting the first radiometric device, the control device gives a command to activate the device for decontamination of radioactive substances: the device for unlocking (opening) the shut-off valve is activated, the shut-off valve is opened and the decontamination substance is sprayed. There is a gradual decontamination of the contaminated area. When radiometric instruments reach the ground, they measure the radiation situation and transmit data to the aircraft and to a single information collection system (such as SkyLINK - gamma monitoring system).
The technical result of the use of the invention is to increase the efficiency and reliability of obtaining information about the radiation situation by measuring all types of radiation of fissile materials in the accident area of a radiation-hazardous facility and the operational implementation of measures to improve the radiation situation by the method of decontamination of radioactive substances without personnel.
