Abstract

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine area, namely to traumatology and orthopedy and can be applied at treatment of some diseases of feet. The forefoot compensator contains an insole and the loose leaf in the form of a plane-convex lens. The insole is executed two-layer under the form of axial section of egg. The loose leaf is located near the blunt end of an insole between its layers, stitched along the edges. Near the sharp end of an insole are cut longitudinal clefts with the tape passed through, forming two loops that are placed on footstep fingers. Walls of clefts compress the tape, fixing its tension.

EFFECT: treatment of cross-section forefoot spreading of various aetiologies with simultaneous deformation of the 2 and 3 fingers.

Description

The invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used in the treatment of transverse flattened feet.

A device is known for correcting the forefoot (see the description of the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2120261, 1998), which is the closest analogue, because it has the same purpose as the claimed invention. The known corrector has, among other things, an insole and an insert, made in the form of a flat convex lens.

The problem to be solved is the possibility of force acting on a local section of the transverse arch of the foot near deformed fingers.

Technically, the result is achieved by the fact that the forefoot corrector is attached near the deformed fingers, and the liner is under the desired point of impact.

The essence of the invention is that the forefoot corrector is attached to the fingers with a flexible tape passed through narrow slots in the insole, and the insert has the shape of a flat-convex round lens (one side is flat, the other is spherical).

Figure 1 shows the corrector on the foot (bottom view).

Figure 2 shows the corrector of the forefoot before installation (front view).

The forefoot corrector consists of a two-layer insole 1, the shape of which has the form of an axial section of the egg. Near the sharp end 2 of the insole 1, narrow longitudinal slots 3, 4, 5 and 6 are cut through, through which the tape is drawn so that it forms two loops 8 and 9, worn on the toes. Loops 8 and 9 are fixed while compressing the walls of the cracks 3-5.

Near the blunt end 10 of the insole 1, an insert 11 is arranged in the shape of a plano-convex circular lens, i.e. one side 12 is flat, and the other side 13 is spherical. The insert 11 with its side 12 lies on the bottom sheet 14 of the insole 1, and its convex side is covered with its top sheet 15. Both sheets 14 and 15 are sewn along the edges of the insole 1 with a seam 16 and 17.

The corrector is used as follows.

A transverse arch corrector is applied to the foot of the patient lying so that his 2 and 4 toes enter into 8 and 9 loops of the tape 7, respectively, and the center of the insert 11 lies on the desired area of impact. Further, the position of the corrector on the foot is fixed by tightening the loops 8 and 9 at the ends of the tape 7. And the patient, putting on his shoes, begins healing, and then everyday walking.

The proposed corrector is designed to treat lateral flattening of the foot of various etiologies with simultaneous deformation of 2 and 3 fingers.

Its use allows to shorten the rehabilitation period and conservatively restore the support ability and gait of the patient.

The forefoot corrector, containing the insole and the insert, in the form of a flat-convex lens, characterized in that the insole is made two-layer in shape of the axial section of the egg, the insert is located near the blunt end of the insole between its layers, stitched along the edges, along the sharp end of the insole are cut longitudinal slits through which the tape is formed, forming two loops worn on the toes of the foot, and the walls of the slots compress the tape, fixing its tension.
