Abstract
Description
The group of inventions relates to medicine, in particular to medical bandages, which can be used as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent during compression therapy in cardiovascular surgery, traumatology, sports medicine and other areas of practical health care, as well as fixing dressings in the provision of first aid in inpatient, outpatient medical facilities, as well as in the field and at home.
A known method of manufacturing elastic bandages on looms / USSR Author's Certificate No. 825716, A61F 13/08, 1981 /. This method is very time consuming. Products obtained by this method have low consumer properties.
Closest to the claimed is the method described in patent RU 2093127 (A61F 13/08, 1997). This method is adopted as a prototype. In accordance with the prototype for the manufacture of an elastic bandage used elastomeric thread made of segmented polyurethane, and the warp thread of polyester fiber. The bandage is formed on knitting machines, while laying the elastomeric threads, warp threads and weft threads, so that the warp threads form parallel looped posts, the elastomeric threads are laid inside the looped posts, and the weft threads are laid so that they cover the elastomeric threads with two sides. Bandages made in accordance with the prototype have improved indicators of strength, durability and the range of generated therapeutic pressure. The method provides the ability to obtain bandages of different densities, capable of stretching in the longitudinal, transverse and diagonal directions. In addition, the authors were able to simplify the technology of manufacturing elastic bandages by eliminating the need for preliminary wrapping of elastomeric threads.
The practical use of elastic bandages made in accordance with the prototype method often leads to inconvenience for patients. This is due to the following. Firstly, the presence of segmented polyurethane creates the conditions for high negative residual deformation, and also creates a problem when cutting the bandage, associated with the "runaway" of the thread from the edge of the canvas, while the edge loses its elasticity. In the manufacture of elastic bandages, there is a need to repeatedly twist the edge, which creates inconvenience for the patient - the rough edge creates additional compression of the patient’s soft tissues and leaves a pressure mark on the skin. Secondly, weft threads crossing the loop stitches transversely across the entire width of the bandage or connecting adjacent loop stitches in turn and made of cotton yarn create conditions for the bandage to shrink in width after the first wash due to the property of cotton to shrink under the influence of moisture. The bandage cloth made by this method has a low lateral stiffness, which leads to deformation of the canvas after applying a bandage to body parts with a complex configuration and increased mobility. And, thirdly, the warp threads forming loop stitches and made of polyester threads go to the surface of the bandage in a different pattern from the front and back sides of the bandage and create a structure on the surface of the fabric in contact with the patient’s skin. On the seamy side of the bandage there are broach loops of looped posts, on the front side of the bandage there are loop frames. As a result, the polyester warp on the front side of the bandage is double, and on the wrong side, single in each loop post. This structure creates the conditions for the bandage to slip on the skin. Because of this, the bandage slides, thereby violating the integrity of the compression dressing, which causes the patient to constantly bandage the dressing. In addition, the resulting friction of the skin and polyester filaments of the base bandage often leads to skin irritation and itching.
The authors solved the problem of creating methods for manufacturing an elastic bandage, devoid of these disadvantages.
To solve this problem, we propose methods for manufacturing an elastic bandage, including a knitting process, in which the laying of elastomeric threads, warp threads and weft threads is carried out, so that the warp threads form parallel looped posts, elastomeric threads are laid inside the looped posts, and weft threads are laid so so that they cover the elastomeric threads from two sides.
A distinctive feature of the proposed method according to the first embodiment is that the elastomeric yarn is placed in the outermost hinge columns, one elastomeric yarn is placed in the third one from the edge of the hinge column, and the remaining elastomeric yarn is placed in single or two adjacent looped columns, separated from each other by two, unfilled elastomeric threads, looped posts, moreover, the elastomeric threads are pulled during knitting so that corrugations are formed on the bandage after the tensile stress is removed.
Additionally, according to the first embodiment, an elastomeric thread is proposed, placed in one of the extreme loop columns to be pulled with a force that is 8-12% less than the rest of the elastomeric threads.
A distinctive feature of the method according to the second embodiment is that the elastomeric threads are placed in the outermost two looped columns, one elastomeric thread is placed in the fourth from the edge of the looped column, and the remaining elastomeric threads are placed in single or two adjacent looped columns, separated from each other by two, unfilled elastomeric yarns, looped posts, and the elastomeric yarns are pulled during knitting so that corrugations are formed on the bandage after the tensile stress is removed.
Additionally, according to the second embodiment, it is proposed that the elastomeric yarns placed in the two extreme loops are pulled with a force 8-12% less than the rest of the elastomeric yarns.
In addition, it is suggested that for both options, use an un latex non-braided thread, polyester fiber or polyester fiber as an elastomeric thread.
0,6-0,8.In addition, it is proposed that for both options, the front side, on which the broaches formed during the knitting of the hinge columns are located, be made thinner in the thickness of the weft, and the underside with the exit to the surface of the skeleton of the hinged columns should be made thicker in the thickness of 0.6-0.8 .
1,2-1,6.It is additionally proposed that for both options, the front side with access to the broach surface be formed from colored cotton or polyacrylonitron, or half-woolen, or woolen yarn, or a combination thereof, and the wrong side with access to the surface of the skeletons of the looped posts should be made of cotton threads in the ratio of thickness, respectively, 1 , 2-1.6.
In addition, it is proposed that for both options, the front side with access to the broach surface without forming a weft thread, and the wrong side with access to the surface of the hinges of looped posts to be made of cotton or polyester or polyamide yarns.
Additionally, it is proposed that for both options for the formation of a layer in contact with the patient’s body, natural specially dyed threads be used.
The use of latex elastomeric filament or polyester fiber allows to achieve less residual deformation after stretching the bandage and avoids multiple turn-ups of the bandage edge to solve the problem of “running away” of the elastomeric filament from the edge. It is enough to use the overlock treatment of the seam, which speeds up and reduces the cost of the production process.
The proposed procedure for placing elastomeric yarns in looped columns allows you to strengthen the lateral stiffness of the fabric along the entire width of the bandage or along the edges of the fabric, or where it is necessary, for this, the specified alternation of looped columns with laid elastomeric thread and without it. In addition, this leads to a decrease in shrinkage under the influence of moisture after washing, and also prevents the formation of a wavy corrugation of the edge of the fabric.
The preload of the elastomeric thread, leading to the formation of a corrugation of the surface of the web, allows the patient to obtain a guideline for adjusting the bandage tension when applying a compression dressing. The disappearance of the corrugation under tension indicates a sufficient effort to tighten the bandage.
The laying of elastomeric threads at the edges of the bandage web with different tension allows you to get a "curve" bandage along one of the edges. The edge where the thread tension is greater is defined as lower. This allows you to form a compression dressing ascending and descending rounds with the best properties of the formation of the venous pump. The lower edge of the bandage always has a higher compression than the upper, thereby creating pressure from the bottom up.
The execution of the front side, on which the broaches, which are formed when knitting the hinge columns, are thinner than the weft, and the wrong side with the exit to the surface of the skeleton of the hinge columns, the thicker weft, in the ratio of 0.6-0.8, allows you to get a working layer, in contact with the body, thicker than the outer, and to ensure the absence of contact with the body of the polyester structure created by the threads of the looped posts.
The formation of the front side with access to the surface of broaches of colored cotton or polyacrylonitron, or semi-woolen, or woolen yarn, or a combination thereof, and the wrong side with access to the surface of the cores of looped posts from cotton threads in a ratio of 1.2 to 1.6, respectively allows you to get the outer layer increased in thickness with additional lateral stiffness, which is very important in the option of a sports bandage.
The fact that natural specially dyed threads can be used to form a layer in contact with the patient’s body allows avoiding the mistakes of patients when applying bandages.
Thus, a technical result is achieved.
In figures 1 and 2 presents the structure of the bandages made according to the first embodiment of the claimed method, in figures 3 and 4 - the structures of the bandages made according to the second embodiment of the claimed method, in figure 5 - chain loop loop. An elastic bandage consists of a
The chain consists of the core of the
The bandage is produced on the basis of the weft, i.e. one in which part of the threads is not laid on the needles and does not form loops, but is located in the form of free segments interwoven with broaches of the warp loops.
Weft yarn guide tubes are refueled with chopped yarns in several additions, called the production term "tow" of yarns. Two strings of threads located between the skeletons and broaches of the loops are constantly woven into the stitch loops.
0,6-0,8.An elastic thread, laid inside a single-needle chain, is covered with weft harnesses from the wrong and right side, respectively. When knitting, the elastomeric yarn 5 (FIGS. 1 and 2) is pulled with a force that is 8-12% less than the rest of the elastomeric yarn. When knitting, the
As the warp thread, a polyester textured untwisted yarn with a linear density of 18.5 tex is used. As a weft thread - cotton yarn with a linear density of 29 tex. On the front side, the number of threads is 1-3 pcs., From the wrong side - 1-3 pcs. Elastomeric thread - latex unwoven thread with a diameter of 0.3-0.9 mm
To adjust the tension of the latex thread, additional combs are used, through which latex thread tapes are pulled before refueling them on the elastomeric thread feed shafts. By changing the number of teeth in the comb through which the latex tape passes, it is possible to increase or decrease the elastic thread tension from any edge of the bandage, thereby obtaining a bandage with a given curvature.
