Abstract
Description
The invention relates to recreational and sports shooting from airguns, namely, to the use of a standard sports pneumatic bullet guns to simulate firing shots.
Known systems of single-shot pneumatic weapons of "tipping" type for sports and recreational shooting with various shells, including spherical metal bullets or profiled bullets such as “DC”, “Diablo”, etc., [1] or feathered metal darts, for example, the standard air rifle Izh-38, the standard air gun Izh-53M [2]. It is known that such weapons and shells are used by novice shooters to train in firing shots from smooth-bore firearms. In this case, the shot shell is simulated by a single shell (bullet), loaded into the barrel of a pneumatic weapon. Single-shot pneumatic weapon systems of the “tipping” type are the cheapest and most reliable, a license is not required for their purchase, and in terms of design and loading method they are closest to sporting smooth-bore firearms, which makes them especially attractive for training novice shooters.
The disadvantage of this method is the significant difference in the ballistic characteristics of a bullet flying out of a rifled barrel channel and a shot shell flying out of a smooth barrel, because in the latter case, there is a dispersion of grains relative to the aiming point, which is a characteristic feature of firing shots.
Known gas-balloon systems of air guns that allow firing with famous projectiles, such as spherical metal bullets, in automatic mode, including bursts with a given number of shots, for example, MP-661K "Drozd" [3]. Shooting from such weapons in bursts with a fixed number of shots in a burst allows you to imitate to a certain extent firing shots. The disadvantages of this method are: the high cost of gas-cylinder automatic airguns compared to a single-shot "turning point"; structural complexity and, accordingly, low reliability used in the implementation of this method of airgun systems; the difference in ballistic characteristics of bullets flying in line from a rifled barrel channel and a shot shell simultaneously flying out of a smooth barrel, because in the first case, there is a withdrawal of the barrel from the aiming point due to recoil after each shot, and the duration of the queue is much longer than the duration of a single shot with a shot, which is especially noticeable when simulating shooting at a moving target; certain risk of injury to the shooter and others in the event of a ricochet of metal bullets when firing a burst.
The aim of the invention is to provide the ability to simulate firing shot from a single-shot "turning" pneumatic weapons, including as an independent "indoor" type of shooting, at a low cost and maximum safety of the used projectile and the shot as a whole. The latter involves the use of this method as an independent type of sports and recreational shooting, which does not require participants to have the right to use firearms, including for children and teenagers.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in a single-shot pneumatic weapon of a “tipping” type in the open state, a projectile is loaded, consisting of successively laid in the barrel: an elastic front wad with a diameter equal to or approximately 0.1 mm less or more than a caliber; several spherical bullet pellets with a diameter equal to or approximately 0.1 mm less than a caliber or less, and diameters providing “coordinated” placement of bullet pellets in the bore are preferred; and, if necessary, a rear wad similar to the front wad, and the weight of the projectile does not exceed the weight of the most massive standard shells used for this weapon system. Shot bullets are made of elastic polymeric materials, for example rubber, polyethylene, or composite of a polymer shell and a spherical metal core, or of light metal materials, for example, aluminum alloys. The wads are made with a cylindrical surface adjacent to the walls of the barrel, on which annular ribs can be made to provide better sealing of the projectile in the barrel, from light deformable materials, solid or thin-walled: for example, solid foam or hollow thin-walled polyethylene. The weight of the wad is not more than 10% of the mass of the entire shell. Or the projectile consists of several deformable spherical bullet-pellets with a diameter of about 0.1 mm more than a caliber made of elastic materials, such as polyethylene, or composite of a polymer shell and a spherical metal core; in this case, the projectile is densified in the barrel due to deformation of bullet pellets and wads are not used.
Figure 1 schematically shows a fragment of the breech section of the barrel with a projectile consisting of front and rear wad and spherical bullet-pellets, with a diameter less than caliber, made of polymer material, figure 2 - a fragment of the breech section of the barrel with a shell consisting of deformable spherical bullet pellets, with a diameter greater than caliber, made of polymeric material.
The method is as follows. When loading, the weapon opens by “breaking” the barrel. The front wad 2, the required number of bullet-pellets 3 and the rear wad 4 (Fig. 1), or the required number of deformable bullet-pellets 5 (Fig. 2) are successively charged into the
Accuracy of the shot is determined by the size of bullet pellets and the method of loading. The use of bullet pellets with a diameter less than the caliber of the barrel, held in the barrel when loading the front and, if necessary, the rear wad (figure 1), provides a more "spreading" shot, i.e. more dispersion of bullet pellets relative to the aiming point. The use of deformable bullet-pellets (figure 2), which at the time of the shot move along the rifling of the barrel and acquire a stabilizing rotation, provides a more "heap" shot. Thus, variants of the loading method when using the same weapon make it possible to simulate various types of sport shooting from smooth-bore firearms. In addition, the implementation of the described method when firing from standard pneumatic pistols of the Izh-53M type can be used in the initial training of security personnel to simulate firing from service weapons - short-barreled shotguns with a pistol grip.
п.Since bullet pellets, especially when the diameter is much smaller than the caliber and made without a metal core, have less mass and hardness than the currently used metal shells (bullets and darts), the risk of injury to the shooter and others in case of ricochets or random shots is reduced. At the same time, this requires the use of special targets, on which traces of hits of bullet-pellets, which have less penetrating ability than known metal shells, are reliably recorded; for example, thin paper, cardboard and plastic round and profile fixed targets or "plate" targets, targets in the form of balloons, etc.
The implementation of this method allows you to use the cheapest, affordable, reliable and easy to use samples of serial air guns, including already available in sports organizations and recreational shooting ranges, as well as inexpensive and relatively safe shells. This allows you to use this method not only for training novice shooters in "room" conditions, but also as a basis for independent types of sports and recreational shooting, including children's and teenage sports.
