SUBSTANCE: method consists in exposing and demonstrating the functioning of only the part of the human body, independent functioning of which is meant to be imitated. The rest of the body is hidden inside a mobile apparatus having the form of a box, a table or a stand framework covered with a large tablecloth or a slip-cover closing the inner space of said mobile apparatus, wherein a person is being placed. A chair with an adjustable back-rest angle may be installed inside the framework for the person's comfort. A hole is cut in the tablecloth or slip-cover to allow the person to expose a part of its body outside. In another embodiment a tabletop with a hole cut therein is mounted to said framework. The inner surface thereof is covered, in this case, with a fabric, film or boards. The same mobile apparatus is as well used to imitate appearing people, animals and things from "another world". An opening is made in the bottom of the apparatus to allow a person to penetrate inside. The apparatus is places above a hatch in the stage deck. The hatch is opened and people penetrate from under the stage into the apparatus and then - to the stage.

The invention relates to the field of theatrical performances.

In theatrical performances, at times, there is a need to depict the independent active functioning of objects that in reality are not capable of this. In particular, such a need may arise when staging a play based on a fairy tale or a fantastic work. In a fairy tale, trees hide from the chase of good heroes and do not let enemies in, beat, drive them away. Separately, there is a head, a hand with a weapon, etc.

When staging performances, various devices are used to portray such fantastic phenomena. An example is the device for which patent RU 2187352 C1 G09F 15/00, Komissarov AN, "Multifragmented inflatable decorative means" is issued.

The author proposed a mobile inflatable device, which can depict a tree, rock, house. Moving around the stage, the depicted object helps the hero, creates obstacles for enemies. At the same time, the person is inside the inflatable device and no part of his body is visible to the audience.

In order to depict for the audience the independent functioning of individual parts of the human body, as well as the emergence of people, animals, objects from the “other world”, in the process of staging a theatrical, pop, circus performance, the following method is proposed.

The essence of the method is that only that part of the human body is exposed for review and to demonstrate functioning, the independent functioning of which, by design, should be imitated. The rest of the body takes cover inside the mobile device.

It's about imitation. The viewer, of course, understands that a person is inside a mobile device, and only some part of his body, for example, his head, has been exposed. The viewer is invited to imagine that the head he sees is functioning independently.

The mobile device is made in the form of a drawer frame, a table, a cabinet with wheels attached or a frame mounted on a trolley. The frame is covered with a large tablecloth or cover that has cutouts - holes through which a person inside the frame can expose the head, arm, or other part of the body. If necessary, a top with a cutout - an opening for the head, arm, etc. can be fixed on the frame above. The countertop can be solid or sliding, consisting of several parts. In the latter case, cutouts in the countertop are made at the junction of the parts of the countertop. The countertop is convenient in that you can put various objects on it: a dish (with a cutout for the head), an empty TV case (with a cutout in the bottom corresponding to the cutout - an opening in the countertop), etc. In this case, the impression will be that the head rests on the dish or is located inside the TV. Such a “talking head” can be moved around the scene with the help of an assistant who will roll it. Or yourself, if the design is placed on a trolley with a controlled electric drive (like a wheelchair). You can control the movement both from within the mobile device, and remotely via the radio channel, as a radio-controlled model.

Creating a visual illusion of the absence of a human body under a countertop can give a certain effect - to strengthen the feeling of independent functioning of a separate part of the body, but it is not an end in itself. If there is no particular need and opportunity, it is entirely possible to do with just an opaque or translucent material to close the structure space below the countertop.

A mobile device, with the help of which it is proposed to simulate the autonomous functioning of a separate part of the body, can be used to simulate the appearance of people, animals, objects from the "other world" ("parallel world", "Through the Looking Glass", etc.).

To do this, a cutout is made in the bottom of the trolley - a hole with or without a lid, sufficient for human penetration. The mobile device is installed above the hatch in the stage floor, braked, the hatch is opened and through it from under the stage people get inside the mobile device and then through the hole in the tabletop onto the stage. In this way, you can simulate the appearance of any number of artists from a small mobile device or the disappearance in it (for example, from a chase).

If the interior of the mobile device is covered by mirrors or a panel with a hologram (SU 1621993), the effect of the person’s magical appearance (disappearance) will intensify. The audience creates the illusion that there is nothing under the countertop. And at the same time, they will see that over the countertop gradually appears the whole body of a person (as he crawls out of the hole in the countertop).

This method of appearance of an assistant by illusionists is not practiced. Perhaps, due to the fact that the audience will immediately understand that the space under the tabletop is closed by something and this will become a clue to the focus.

In our case, this way of human appearance is quite acceptable. The goal is not to show the focus, but to express the idea of the director of the idea that this character appears from the “other world” (“parallel”, “Through the Looking Glass”, etc.) by means of the image. Then the mobile device can be imagined as a means of penetrating into the "other world", a kind of "gateway", "corridor" into the "other world". Through it, during the performance, artists can appear from the “other world” or go to the “other world”. In the same way, you can simulate the appearance of animals and various objects.

In order to close the hole in the countertop from the audience, a box, vessel or other container, sufficient in size, with an opening in the bottom can be installed above it. In this case, a person, animal or objects will appear from this container.

You can also in / on the countertop around the cutout - holes or around the perimeter of the tabletop to fix a pipe (or several pipes) with holes through which to supply "smoke" from pipelines or hoses from a known source of "smoke" - a compact smoke machine located inside a mobile device. You can control the operation of the smoke machine from within a mobile device or remotely via a radio channel. "Smoke" will hide a hole in the countertop and the audience will get the impression that a person, animal or object appears "out of smoke".

If the space below the countertop is covered with mirrors or a hologram, the audience will have the illusion that there is nothing under the countertop and the person, animal, object gradually appears from the "smoke" puffs above the countertop. Which will fully correspond to the director’s intention to show the appearance of a character, animal, object from the “other world”.

To enhance the effect, the appearance of a person can be accompanied by fireworks. Appropriate funds can be placed on / in the countertop.

In addition, around the hole in the countertop, you can place simulators of flames. These can be well-known toys - inflatable, unfolding under air pressure, “tongues”, which are long, narrow bags, rolled up into a roll, which when air is injected into them through the inlet tube-nipple (inflation) unfold in the form of a long strip. In the absence of air pressure, they fold again. Such “tongues” can be fixed vertically around the cut-out - holes in the countertop or around the perimeter of the countertop. If the “tongues” are made in the form of long wedges and painted in bright red color, then when air is forced into them, red stripes will fly up above the countertop - wedges that look like tongues of flame. If the air pressure in the "tongues" is removed, the "tongues" will curl up - the "flame" will fall. By alternating the supply of air to the “tongues” one can get “flames of flame” and disappearance.

Around the holes in the countertop, you can place several rows of such "languages" of different lengths and shapes. Then we get an alternating oscillation of the “flame” around the hole from which the person appears. And if, in addition, chimneys are placed on / in the countertop, we get flashes of flame with smoke.

Air can be supplied to the “tongues” through tubes from air flow splitters, which in turn must be supplied from compressed air cylinders or from a compressor. The splitters can be a small capacity of any shape with one inlet and several outlets. To connect the connecting tubes, the holes of the splitter must be equipped with a fixing device (a nipple with a thread or any other). As a splitter, for example, a plugged tube may be used that is curved in the shape and size of the cutout — holes in the countertop, having an inlet opening with a nipple and a number of outlet openings with nipples. To the output nipples of such a splitter, "tongues" can be directly attached without connecting tubes. It is only important that they are directed vertically upwards.

The appearance of a person from a mobile device can also be framed as the appearance of an opened flower or other pop-up layout.

To do this, around the cut-out-holes in the tabletop of a mobile device, inflatable "tongues" are deployed that unfold under air pressure, resembling the size of a large flower’s petals or revealing details of another pop-up layout.

After supplying compressed air, the inflatable petals around the cut-out, the holes in the countertop will open and, for example, a princess will appear from the flower. At the same time, for aesthetic reasons, the mobile device can be decorated in the form of a bouquet of flowers or a flower vase.

If the layout will represent the head of a monster, the hero can similarly appear from his mouth. In this case, the mobile device itself can be designed as the body of a given monster.

Cylinders or a compressor, like a smoke machine, can be placed inside a mobile device. To control the variable air supply through the pipelines to the "languages" should be an automatic regulator with the possibility of a "manual" control mode. In the case when it is supposed to roll up the mobile device and install it above the hatch opening in the floor of the stage, “smoke” and compressed air can be supplied to the mobile device through the hatch in the floor through hoses from the smoke machine and compressor located under the stage.

There, under the stage, a lifting machine can be installed, raising (and lowering) the platform with a person inside the mobile device to the required level. The movement of the site inside the mobile device will be hidden from the audience and they will only see how a person gradually comes out (appears) from the countertop.

It should be added that the mobile device may have places and openings in the countertop for several people. This may be required in various situations. For example, one "talking head" may be the "main", and several more - glorifying the wisdom of this "main" head. And at the time of failure - cursing the failed head of the fiasco.

Or it can be one head and several hands applauding or holding pistols and shooting someone at the direction of the head.

The technical result of the invention is a new tool from the arsenal of means of staging spectacular performances.
