Abstract

FIELD: items for personal and household use.
SUBSTANCE: the cleaning device comprises of a handle unit, cleaning head, pivotally connected with the handle unit and is capable of aligning replaceable cleaning caps for collecting dirt from cleaned floor surface, mounted on the cleaning cap is a spray valve for dispensing cleaning solution onto the surface to be cleaned and suction nozzle, which is held on the cleaning head with the capability of moving between the position of sucking dirt from the floor, whereby the suction nozzle is located near the surface of the floor to be cleaned. The suction nozzle is connected to the dust collecting bag, which is held on the handle unit. The device has a source of suction, which is placed on the handle and intercommunicates with the dust collecting unit and the suction nozzle. The method of cleaning the surface is carried out with the help of the device, comprising of a handling unit, cleaning head, pivotally attached to the handling unit, a system of dispersing cleaning fluid, which is fixed to the handling unit and connected to the spray nozzle, and is held on the cleaning head and sprays cleaning fluid onto the surface. With the help of handling unit one directs the cleaning head on the surface being cleaned with the dirty cleaning fluid from the surface onto the cleaning cap, selectively held by the cleaning head, switches the nozzle between the position of sucking dirt from the floor, whereby the suction nozzle is located close to the surface being cleaned, and the retracted position, whereby the suction nozzle is away from the floor surface, and selectively suck dirt through the suction nozzle, which is held on the cleaning head. The cleaning device is capable of shifting between two separate operating modes. The first operating mode consists of sucking dirt from an area to be cleaned, and the second operating mode involves putting on the surface to be cleaned cleaning fluid, for this reason there is a cleaning cap for collecting dirty cleaning fluid, and also dust and dirt from the surface being cleaned. The cleaning head is hinged to the body of the device and has the capability of selectively holding the cleaning cap, used in the second operating mode of the device. Placing the spraying nozzle on the cleaning head enables dispersion of the cleaning fluid onto the surface in the second operating mode of the device. The device is capable of switching off or stopping dispersion of the liquid to the spraying nozzle in the first operating mode. The suction nozzle is equipped with the capability of transferring fluid with the vacuum fan unit and with the dust collecting unit for carrying out work in the first operating mode. In the variant the device contains a switch, which is capable of changing between the first position for selectively activating the vacuuming and the second position. When the switch is in the second position airflow is stopped, and the system of dispersing the fluid for the cleaning solution is activated.
EFFECT: overall performance of the device is increased.
