Description

Technical field

The present invention relates to storage devices for a refrigerator, in particular to shelves on a door and drawers.

State of the art

When using the refrigerator, when opening the door or when removing the drawer, such devices often move sharply, as a result of which vessels in the device having a small footprint compared with their height can tip over. In the worst case, this can lead to the contents being poured out of the vessel or even the whole vessel falling out of the refrigerator and falling to the floor. To avoid this, it was proposed to equip the device with a separator mounted on its side wall, a sheet of which, stretching along the supporting surface of the device, can lie on the vessel, preventing it from tipping over. A similar device according to the generic concept of claim 1 is described in DE 9302215 U1. The fundamental problem of such devices is that, on the one hand, the separator must be moved along the wall so that its position corresponds to the position of the vessels in the device at the moment, and on the other hand, it should be as tight as possible against the wall, so that if necessary really able to effectively hold the capsizing vessel.

Obviously, implementing these requirements at the same time is not so simple. An attempt to combine them was made in DE 4304503 A1, where the self-braking of the movable parts mounted on the device wall is carried out using an elastic tape passing through the holes of the dividers. When there are no objects in the device, the tape does not interfere with the movement of the separators, but if there are objects in it, they stretch the tape and provide self-braking of the separators. However, the tape interferes with the placement of objects in the device.

Disclosure of invention

The objective of the present invention is to create a device for a refrigerator with a separator installed in various positions, which provides effective protection of objects installed in the device from tipping over, but without interfering with the placement of the objects themselves.

This problem is solved by the device with the characteristics of paragraph 1 of the claims. Due to the fact that a second separator sheet is provided, which, together with the collar and the first separator sheet, defines a portion of the supporting surface from at least three sides, a niche is formed in which a vessel protected against tipping can be installed. Such a vessel cannot tip over along the wall, since the separator sheet subjected to pressure during tipping can only leave under the pressure of the object until the second separator sheet rests on the object on the other hand. Thus, the object located between the sheets of the separator, does not allow the separator to slide, and the separator can prevent the rollover of objects pressed from the outside of the sheets.

The clamp and separator sheets can be easily made as a single piece, for example, by injection molding, preferably from flexible plastic.

The elasticity of the entire separator, or at least its sheets, allows you to insert objects into the gap between the sheets, the size of which slightly exceeds the distance between the sheets of the separator.

It is desirable that the separator sheets converge to the side opposite from the clamp. Such a separator prevents the falling of an installed object and in the direction across the wall. This is especially advisable if the depth of the device is much greater than the length of the sheets of the separator, as, for example, in a drawer.

The distance between the separator sheets should preferably not exceed their length so that round objects, such as bottles, are held securely in them.

The device according to the invention can preferably be implemented as a shelf on the refrigerator door or, as already mentioned, in the form of a drawer.

The implementation of the invention

The separator 1 shown in FIG. 1 in a perspective projection has, when viewed from above, an approximate shape of the letter C with a rectilinear middle wall 2 and side wings 3 extending in the transverse direction from the ends of the middle wall 2. Each wing 3 of the separator 1 has a main section 4, adjacent directly to the middle wall 2 and located approximately perpendicular to it, and an end section 5 remote from the middle wall 2, with the end sections 5 converging at their free ends. The length of the wings 3 of the separator 1 approximately corresponds to the length of the middle wall 2, so that a round object, such as a bottle, can be clamped between the wings 3 of the separator without protruding significantly beyond their ends.

From the upper edge of the middle wall 2, a hook 6 extends along the middle wall 2, which together with the middle wall 2 forms a clamp for putting on the device wall. On the inner side surface of the hook 6 there are two parallel ribs 7, 8, directed towards the middle wall 2, but not touching it. The distance between the lower rib 8 and the middle wall 2 is greater than the distance between the upper rib 7 and the middle wall 2. This design allows you to put the divider 1 on devices with different wall thicknesses. When the separator 1 is mounted on the thick outer wall 9 of the drawer 10, as shown in FIG. 2, the upper edge of the side wall 9 is adjacent to the lower side of the rib 7. At the same time, the same separator 1 can be fitted onto a thinner wall, for example the partition 11 of the drawer 10. In this case, not shown, the wall 11 passes through the gap between the rib 7 and the middle wall of the separator 1 and supports the separator 1 at the base of the hook 6, where it goes into the middle wall 2. Thus, the separator can be clamped elastically on both Enki 9 and 11.

3A, 3B clearly illustrate the principle of operation of the separator 1 according to the invention. A sectional storage device is shown, in this case a shelf on a door whose depth is only slightly greater than the length of the separator wings 3, so that several bottles can fit side by side in the storage device. The diameter of the bottles 12, 13 shown in the drawing is slightly smaller than the distance between the wings 3 of the separator, so that the bottle 12 located between the wings of the separator 1 is not clamped. If the bottle 12 under the action of lateral force begins to tip over, then the clip of the separator on the wall 9 of the shelf on the door will prevent the bottle from tipping over. But even if we assume that the separator 1 is not clamped on the wall 9 and can move along it without friction, then, as can be seen in FIG. 3B, the bottle 12 in the separator can tip over only to the position where its sides come into contact with both wings 3 separators. Further tipping of the bottle from this position is not possible. Also, the bottle 13 located outside the separator 1 cannot tilt further, since the bottle 12 is clamped in the separator 1. Thus, both bottles 12 and 13 are effectively protected from tipping over, regardless of how firmly the separator 1 is held on the wall 9.

If a bottle is located in the separator 1, the diameter of which is greater than the distance between the wings 3 of the separator, then this bottle is elastically pinched in the separator 1 and cannot tip over at all. And with its own weight, it protects the bottle from the separator from overturning.

If the separator 1 consists entirely of elastically deformable material, then the middle wall 2 will slightly bend when a bottle is installed in the separator 1, the diameter of which is greater than the distance between the wings 3 of the separator. The bending of the middle wall 2 will additionally increase the strength of fixing the separator on the wall 9, which will further enhance the protective effect of the separator.
