SUBSTANCE: rectangular ring with rounded corners has inner circle made in the form of rectangle with rounded corners, said form approximating that of circle of individual's finger. There is at least one cut on outer circular surface, said cuts being oriented toward inner circle of ring. Each cut is made in the form of elliptical arc. Ring has stone setting and circular metal part surrounding said stone setting. Circular metal part is connected to ring through connection part and is cut in vertical direction. Such construction allows ring to be prevented from rotation and pressure upon fingers adjoining ring bearing finger to be decreased. Moreover, contacting of ring with any object in user's palm is unlikely and also decorative part of ring does not catch on user's clothing.

Field of Invention

The invention relates to a ring, which prevents the rotation of the ring itself or reduces the likelihood of such rotation, providing a better fit, and when wearing clothes, protecting the ring from being caught by it.

Prior art

Ordinary rings are round in shape. However, when worn, the ring is often rotated, while its decorative part is not in its usual place, i.e. not in front, but on the side. In addition, the round ring puts pressure on the fingers adjacent to the finger bearing the ring. Moreover, a round ring is often in contact with some solid object held in the palm of your hand, which creates an unpleasant sensation. In addition, in some rings of a conventional design, the fixing of the gem in the decorative part is provided by a gripping ledge or a trimmed tongue, which often clings to clothing (for example, a sweater or stockings). Another drawback of the conventional method, in which a gem is inserted into polished metal, is the inability to provide the most complete picture of the beauty of the stone.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

As shown in figure 1, in a quadrangular ring with rounded corners, the inner circle is made in the form of a quadrangle with rounded corners, close to the shape of the circumference of a person’s finger. On the outer circumference, one or more cutouts are made, facing the inner circumference of the ring. In the center of each of the three sides (in the case when the decorative part protrudes from the fourth side) or in the center of each of the four sides (if the decorative part does not protrude), a cut (a) is made in the form of an elliptical or circular arc, which prevents the ring from turning to the side under the action of contact with neighboring fingers. A quadrangular ring with rounded corners, the inner circle of which is made in the form of a quadrangle with rounded corners, close to the shape of the circumference of a person’s finger, and one or more cutouts are made along the outer circumference, facing the inner circumference of the ring. 2. The ring according to claim 1, in which each of the three of the four sides of the ring has a cut in the shape of an elliptical arc. 3. The ring according to claim 2, containing a frame for stone and an annular metal part surrounding the aforementioned frame for stone, while the annular metal part is connected to the ring by means of a connecting part and is cut in the vertical direction.
