Abstract
Description
The invention relates to artillery technology, in particular to guided artillery shells.
Known guided artillery shell (patent RU No. 2056609 1996), consisting of a control compartment and a "projectile" compartment, laid in their respective sealed cases with quick-release covers and joined with a quick-bayonet lock before loading into the gun. The landing surfaces of the cases of the control compartment and the "projectile" compartment are identical to the surfaces of the cells of the ammunition shells of a self-propelled howitzer for an unmanaged projectile and propellant charge of an unmanaged projectile, respectively. The separation of the guided artillery shell into two compartments, mating with each other immediately before combat use, allows you to place the compartments of the shell in the cells of the ammunition intended for standard shells and missile charges, which makes it possible to place guided artillery shells in a self-propelled howitzer in a certain combination with unguided shells, necessary to carry out combat missions in the shortest possible time.
The connection of the two compartments of the guided artillery shell by means of a bayonet lock implies the entry of the seat of one, in this case "shell" compartment, into the control compartment with its subsequent rotation around the longitudinal axis of the projectile by a certain angle. However, the absence in the design of the lock of the device fixing the compartments docked with each other can lead to spontaneous rotation of one compartment relative to the other, and, therefore, to a violation of the integrity of the product as a whole due to the impact of vibration loads on it when moving along the threaded part of the barrel, when the projectile is involved in rotational motion.
Known guided artillery shell (Babichev V.I., Vetrov V.V., Ignatov A.V., Orlov A.R. Fundamentals of the design and functioning of guided artillery shells. - Tula: TulSU, 2003, pp. 93-98), selected as a prototype, consisting of a control compartment and a projectile compartment with a fuse, which are joined to each other immediately before loading into the barrel of the gun using a high-bayonet type lock. In the initial position, the control compartment and the projectile compartment are housed in sealed cases. The quick lock is equipped with locking radial screws, partially screwed into the housing of the control compartment.
This shell has insufficient combat power, since the dimensions of its warhead, located in the "shell" compartment, are limited by the size of the cell ammunition.
The length of the control compartment is significantly inferior to the length of the "shell" compartment. Moreover, their placement inside the self-propelled gun occurs in cells of the same size. There is the possibility of introducing an additional warhead into the control compartment, the overall dimensions of which should not exceed the difference between the corresponding overall dimensions of the control compartment and the ammunition compartment. This will significantly increase the combat power of the projectile with the same qualities of the explosive used.
The objective of the invention is to increase the combat power of the projectile, while respecting the overall parameters, providing the possibility of its placement in the cells of the warhead, designed for standard shells and propelling charges of a self-propelled howitzer.
The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the guided artillery shell containing the control compartment, the "projectile" compartment, stacked in their respective sealed cases with quick-release covers, placed in the cells of the ammunition shell of a self-propelled howitzer and mated with each other immediately before loading into the gun’s barrel , using a high-speed lock equipped with fixing radial screws, the fuse, the control compartment contains an additional warhead, and the fuse is located in the linen warhead. At the same time, the overall dimensions of the additional warhead do not exceed the difference between the corresponding overall dimensions of the control compartment without the additional warhead and the cell of the ammunition shell of the self-propelled howitzer.
The invention is illustrated by drawings. Figure 1 shows the control compartment in the case; figure 2 - shell compartment in the case; figure 3 - guided artillery shell in docked condition.
6.Managed artillery shell consists of a control compartment 1, an additional warhead 2 with a
Additional warhead 2 is attached to the control compartment 1 from the side of its docking with the "shell"
