Abstract

The utility model relates to furniture, namely free-form upholstered furniture made in the form of a shell of soft material, partially filled with particles capable of flowing. Such furniture can be transformed into a chair, armchair, sofa, mattress, chaise lounge, regardless of the size and shape of the shell. The technical result is to increase the degree of versatility of a piece of furniture. The essence of the utility model is that a universal piece of upholstered furniture contains a closed fabric shell filled with loose filler from expanded polystyrene granules, while the internal space filled with loose filler communicates with the atmosphere. According to the utility model, the piece of furniture is equipped with a pair of tension belts with adjustable length. The shell in plan is made in the form of a quadrangle, the outer perimeter of which is equipped with a power belt made of shell material. Two opposite sides of the power belt are made with fastening elements and are equipped with engagement elements, and each tension belt is equipped with fastening elements installed at its opposite ends, with the possibility of positioning the belt along any of the sides of the quadrangle with selective engagement with a pair of engagement elements. Moreover, each of the fastening sides of the power belt is equipped with at least four engagement elements, and the internal space of the shell communicates with the atmosphere through calibrated holes.

Description

The utility model relates to furniture, namely, free-form upholstered furniture made in the form of a shell of soft material, partially filled with particles capable of flowing. Such furniture can be transformed into a chair, armchair, sofa, mattress, chaise lounge, regardless of the size and shape of the shell.

A piece of upholstered furniture is known that contains a closed shell of fabric filled with loose filler from polystyrene foam granules, while the internal space filled with loose filler communicates with the atmosphere (see RU 14342 U1, pub., 07/20/2000).

The disadvantage of the known piece of furniture is its limited versatility, which does not allow it to be used in other capacities than as a chair or armchair.

The purpose of the utility model is to create a piece of furniture with a high degree of versatility, allowing it to be used not only as a chair and an armchair with armrests, but also as a sofa with different back heights, a sleeping mattress, a pillow, a chaise longue, a lounger with a combination of various properties due to adjustment forms in different areas of the object, satisfying different requirements, for example, two users at the same time.

The technical result is to increase the degree of versatility of a piece of furniture.

The problem is solved and the technical result is achieved by the fact that a universal piece of upholstered furniture contains a closed shell of fabric filled with loose filler from polystyrene foam granules, while the internal space filled with loose filler communicates with the atmosphere, and, according to the utility model, it is equipped with a pair of tension belts with adjustable length, the shell in plan is made in the form of a quadrangle, the outer perimeter of which is equipped with a power belt made of shell material, two opposite sides of the power belt are made of fastening elements and are equipped with engagement elements, and each tension belt is equipped with fastening elements installed at its opposite ends, with the possibility of positioning the belt along any of the sides of the quadrangle with selective engagement with a pair of engagement elements, and each of the fastening sides of the power belt is equipped with at least four engagement elements, and the internal space of the shell is communicated with the atmosphere through calibrated holes.

The described universal piece of upholstered furniture contains a closed shell 1 made of fabric, filled with loose filler from polystyrene foam granules. It is equipped with a pair of tension belts 2 with adjustable length. The shell 1 in plan is made in the form of a quadrangle, in particular a rectangle. The outer perimeter of the shell 1 is equipped with a power belt 3 made of the material of the shell 1. That is, the belt 3 is made along all sides of the quadrangle of the shell 1. Two opposite sides 4 of the power belt 3 (for example, the greater length of the quadrangle of the shell 1) are made of fasteners and are equipped with extreme engagement elements 5 and two middle engagement elements 6 located between them. That is, four elements on each side 4. Each tension belt 2 is equipped with fastening elements 7 located at its opposite ends, with the possibility of selective engagement with a pair of engagement elements 5 and/or 6 located on one side 4 of the power belt 3 and the adjusting frame 9. The internal space of the shell 1 is partially filled with filler and communicates with the atmosphere through calibrated holes 8, the edges of which are bordered by eyelets. Holes 8 are designed to remove air, preventing rupture of the outer shell during active use of the piece of furniture. The length of the belts can be adjusted using frame 9. Polystyrene foam granules do not produce sound when a piece of furniture is deformed and allow it to take the shape of a sitting person, exactly following the contours of his body, ensuring the anatomical correct position of the spine during rest.

The granule diameter of 1-3 mm allows you to store the declared volume of goods several times longer than that of manufacturers using granules with a diameter of more than 3 mm. In the frameless furniture market, the popularity of large granules is explained by their low cost, but, unfortunately, does not guarantee a long service life of the product. The filler is not susceptible to mold and mildew. It is also of no interest to rodents.

Granulated polystyrene foam is chemically inert and is not destroyed by household chemicals.

The shell of the granules is quite dense, they do not swell and do not absorb water.

Shell 1 is a zippered outer cover that can be removed and washed in the washing machine on a delicate cycle. Shell fabric 1-"Oxford 600D" (100% polyester) with water-repellent impregnation. The fabric is dense and does not mark; minor stains can be removed with a damp cloth. Suitable for relaxing both outdoors and in the apartment. It is possible to use any other fabric with the required properties.

The shell 1 also contains an additional inner cover (not shown in the illustrations), which is made of non-woven material, for example, high-density spunbond, which can withstand high loads on the seams. The inner case uses special zippers with the DreamLock system with protection against opening.

The described piece of furniture is used as follows. On each side 4 of the power belt 3, the tension belt 2 is secured by engaging the elements 5 at its ends with the fastening elements 6. The elements 5 are distributed along the side 4 approximately evenly, with the outer elements 5 located in the corners of the quadrangle of the shell 1, and the engagement elements 6 are the middle elements ) are located between the outer elements 5. The belt 2, with the help of elements 7, engages at each end with elements 5 and/or elements 6. In this case, the adjustment frame 9 allows you to change the length of the belt 2, affecting the final shape of the piece of furniture.

When engaged with the outer members 5 along each long side 4, the belt is pulled to a relatively short length. In this case, the piece of furniture takes the shape of a chair (see Figs. 1 and 6).

When the belts 2 are lengthened with the same engagement, the piece of furniture takes the form of a lounger with a longer horizontal surface for the body and a fairly short and low back, which serves as a pillow under the head (see Fig. 2).

When the belts 2 are positioned along the short side of the quadrangle of the shell 1, the piece of furniture takes the form of a sufficiently long sofa, on which three seated people can be comfortably accommodated (see Fig. 7).

When 2 middle elements 6 on each side are engaged with a belt, the piece of furniture takes on the shape of a chaise lounge with a slightly raised surface in the area of a person’s head and a raised surface in the area of his knees, which creates additional comfort that is not achievable in known pieces of furniture made of soft material (see Fig. Fig. 5).

When the belt 2 engages with the outer element 5 and one of the middle elements 6, the piece of furniture takes the shape of a chaise lounge. In this embodiment, the chaise lounge described above is transformed into an inclined surface without clearly visible convex surfaces. That is, it turns into an inclined flat lounger (see Fig. 4).

It is possible to engage one or two belts 2 with opposite sides 4 using different combinations of engagement with different elements 5 and 6 and placing the belts along the long side of the quadrangle of the shell 1 or along its diagonal.

Thus, the presence of at least four fastening elements 5 and 6 along each side 4 makes it possible to realize almost all possible shapes of a transformable piece of furniture to obtain the required shape that provides an optimal comfortable posture for the person resting on it.

The versatility of the described piece of furniture is also ensured by the possibility of using it, for example, as a high chair for one person. The chair has fairly rigid armrests and holds the given shape when installing the quadrangle shell 1 on one of the sides 4 with its long side positioned vertically when the 2 middle elements 5 are engaged with a belt (not shown in the drawings), or a chair without armrests without using a belt 2 (see figs. 8 and 9).

When installing the quadrangle of the shell 1 on its corner, a low chair is formed for relaxing in a reclining position (see Fig. 10).

A loosely laid piece of furniture provides a comfortable mattress (see Fig. 13, Fig. 14).

Fastening the straps 2 makes it quite easy to carry a piece of furniture in the form of a backpack by both straps 2 (see Fig. 11), or in the form of a shoulder bag by one strap 2 (see Fig. 12).

The weight of a piece of furniture is no more than 8 kg, which makes it easy to move it to different places in accordance with the shape and purpose of each of its transformable states.

Thus, the use of the described piece of furniture allows for an increased degree of versatility due to its use as almost all known forms of furniture that satisfy various user requirements.
