Abstract
Description
The invention relates to techniques for analyzing the gas phase and can be used in the analysis of the quality of powdered, solid substances (for example, tea, coffee, tobacco, tobacco products).
Ji H-S., McNiven S., Ikebukuro K., Karube I. // Anal. Chim. Acta. 1999. V. 300. P.93-100]. Known thermostatic detection cell with a volume of 200 cm 3 with injection injection of a sample of the analyte with a volume of 10 μl using a microsyringe directly into the cell [Selective piezoelectric odor sensor using molecularly imprinted polymers. Ji HS., McNiven S., Ikebukuro K., Karube I. // Anal. Chim. Acta. 1999. V. 300. P.93-100]. The sensor before measurements is kept in a stream of nitrogen at a flow rate of 0.2 DM 3 / min until the analytical signal is stabilized. Then the nitrogen supply is stopped, 10 μl of the solution of the analyte is introduced into the cell and evaporated. Measurement of the analytical signal is terminated when the change in the oscillation frequency of the sensor does not exceed 1 Hz / min.
The drawback of the cell is the introduction of a small sample volume into the cell, at which the sensor signal will be at the level of “noise” or so large that it will lead to an increase in the error when introducing the sample with a microsyringe. And does not allow to analyze solid and powdery products.
№18).The closest in technical essence and the achieved effect is a cell detection cell with a volume of 500 cm 3 made of stainless steel, equipped with a thermostatic jacket, the outer side of which is coated with a heat-insulating material, consisting of a reaction vessel, inlet pipes, air and sample outlets, a piezoelectric crystal, the lid with the holder for the piezoelectric crystal mounted in it is made of the same material, and the pipe for direct injection of the sample into the reaction vessel of the cell is equipped with likonovoy gasket (Patent No. 2207539, G 01 N 5/02, 27/12. Reported on 20.06.2002. Publ. 27.06.2003, Bul. №18).
The disadvantages of this cell are the unsuitability for accurate quantitative characterization of the interaction of the analyte with the sorbent deposited on the electrodes of the piezoelectric crystal, since short-term sensory responses are measured with respect to substances with unknown concentration, a long time to establish equilibrium due to the presence of a concentration gradient, and the impossibility of analyzing solid and powder substances.
The objective of the invention is to create a sensory detection cell, which allows to identify powdered, solid substances (for example, tea, coffee, tobacco, tobacco products) containing volatile components, by accurately quantifying the interaction of the analyte (target component) with a sorbent modifier applied to the electrodes piezoelectric quartz sensor, eliminating the interfering effect of ambient temperature on the signals of the piezosensor, increasing the strength of the cell.
This object is achieved by the fact that in the detection sensor cell, consisting of a reaction vessel made of stainless steel and equipped with a thermostatic jacket, the outside of which is covered with heat insulating material, lids with an integrated holder for a piezoelectric crystal made of the same material, a piezoelectric crystal, input pipes, venting, new is the fact that the reaction vessel detection volume 100 cm 3 within which are located on both sides of the perforated Asset for powdered samples, solids and air fan to equalize the concentration of volatile substances throughout the volume of the cell, wherein pezosensorov provided with a movable cover, which allows to drive the sensor at the steady phase equilibrium.
The technical result consists in taking measurements at different temperatures, bringing the sensor cell to a predetermined mode of operation in a short period by aligning the concentration of volatile substances throughout the cell volume with a fan, simplifying the hardware design of the sensor cell and minimizing the loss of matter due to the use of a perforated cartridge on both sides for samples and a moving cover for the piezosensor, which allows you to actuate the sensor when establishing phase equilibrium.
The circuit of the detection detection cell is shown in the drawing.
The detection sensor cell is a cylinder 1 made of stainless steel with a volume of 100 cm 3 with a cover 2, equipped with a thermostatic jacket 3 with nozzles 4, 5 for input, air outlet (carrier gas, for example, nitrogen), regeneration of the sensor, air fan 6, which allows to accelerate the exit of the sensor cell to the operating mode and improve the accuracy of measurements perforated on both sides of the sample cassette 7. Piezosensor 8 with a movable cover 9, which allows to actuate the sensor with the established phase equilibrium, it extends the use of the cells located in the upper part of the cell.
The detection detection cell operates as follows. A prepared piezoelectric crystal sensor is placed in the reaction vessel of the cell (previously the piezoelectric crystal is held in the flow of dried laboratory air for several minutes until a stable analytical signal is obtained and the sensor readings are measured) with the cover closed. A powdery, solid substance (for example, tea, coffee, tobacco, tobacco products) containing volatile components is placed in a perforated cassette on both sides, and the air fan is turned on and the cell temperature is brought to a predetermined level. When phase equilibrium is reached, the cover is removed and the piezosensor is actuated. The stopwatch counts the time after which the signal of the piezoelectric crystal does not change. The difference between the signals of the piezosensor before and after contact with a carrier gas enriched in volatile components of a sample of a powdered, solid substance (for example, tea, coffee, tobacco, tobacco products) is a characteristic of quantitative determinations. To remove volatile compounds from the reaction vessel and regenerate the piezoelectric crystal, open the nozzle, remove the sample compartment and supply dried laboratory air (carrier gas) until the sensor signal reaches the initial level. After that, the next measurement can be carried out in the cell.
