Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the oil industry, and in particular to processes for the preparation of oil, gas and water, in particular, at a late stage in the development of oil fields.
Persistent water-oil emulsions are formed and accumulate in the form of intermediate layers in oil treatment plants (UPN) in water separation equipment at the oil-water interface and are a mixture of solid particle agglomerates with asphalt-resinous and paraffin components of oil and produced water. The gradual accumulation and increase in the thickness of the intermediate layers leads to a disruption of the phase separation processes in the technological settling apparatus and disruption of the operating mode of the UPN.
One of the reasons for increasing the stability of emulsions at a late stage in the development of oil fields is the wide chemicalization of oil production. In order to increase and intensify oil production, various methods and technologies are used, involving the use of chemicals that affect the physicochemical properties of well products. At the same time, serious complications arise in the technological chain “well - oil gathering system - UPN” associated with the formation of persistent water-oil emulsions.
When wells are put into operation after drilling, perforation, water and gas insulation works, hydraulic fracturing, treatment of the bottom-hole zone with mechanical and chemical methods, routine and overhaul of wells, etc., the formation of persistent emulsions stabilized by mechanical impurities, asphalt-resinous substances and chemicals used in oil production processes. After carrying out repair work in the wells, all technological waste liquids are pumped into the oil gathering system and supplied with the well production to the oil treatment unit. Sources of contamination of well products are also products of corrosion, biocorrosion, deposits of salts, resins, paraffins, contents of sludge pits, etc.
д.To increase oil recovery in large volumes, various chemicals are injected into the wells, for example surfactants, polymers, clay powders, water glass, alkalis, acids, salts, etc. However, as a result of injecting a number of chemicals, the stability of the produced well products increases due to changes in the formation pH water, the formation of fine precipitation, increasing the viscosity of water, etc.
Thus, the above factors, as well as high water cut, high gas-liquid mixture speeds, high content of asphalt-resinous substances in oil at a late stage of oil field development, cause disruptions and disruptions to oil preparation processes. Given that persistent intermediate emulsions are not destroyed by traditional methods, it is important to take appropriate measures to prevent the formation of persistent emulsions in well production or to prevent their entry into the general oil recovery system and oil recovery system.
Due to the variety of factors and reasons that affect the stability of oil-water emulsions, it is necessary, first of all, to identify the sources of formation of persistent emulsions.
1982).There is a method of determining the source of formation of stable emulsions, including sampling the production of producing wells and determining their aggregate stability [1] (Pozdnyshev GN Stabilization and destruction of oil emulsions, M .: Nedra, 1982).
The disadvantage of this method is that upon receipt of a stable oil-water emulsion at the oil treatment unit, it is not possible to determine the source of its formation from the aggregate stability. As practice shows, the number of wells producing water-oil emulsions with high aggregate stability with their subsequent transportation in a single oil recovery system can reach dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of units.
47-49).Closest to the technical nature of the proposed solution is a method of controlling the content of solids in the system of oil treatment plants, allowing you to take timely measures before disrupting the operating mode of the plants [2] (Pozdnyshev GN, RNTS "Oilfield", 1980, No. 6, p. .47-49).
The disadvantage of this method is the inability to determine the source of receipt of solids on UPN, stabilizing stable oil-water emulsions.
The aim of the invention is to prevent the formation of persistent emulsions in the produced products of the wells, leading to disruption and disruption of technological processes for the preparation of oil.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the method of determining the source of the formation of persistent oil-water emulsions, which includes collecting and transporting well products to the system for its preparation, sampling and their physicochemical analysis, an indicator is pumped into the well and before or at the entrance to the preparation system before sampling perform a photometric analysis of the production of wells for the content of the indicator in a dense layer of oil-water emulsion and (or) the aqueous phase. Ammonium thiocyanate or fluorescein can be used as an indicator.
The invention consists in the following.
A known method for determining the hydrodynamic relationship between injection and producing wells and filtration flows in the reservoir using a tracer label (indicator). This method is based on the fact that the transfer of a neutral impurity (indicator) obeys the laws of motion of the carrier fluid. A neutral dye fluorescein is used as an indicator, the detection of which in samples is possible at a concentration of up to 10 -7 % [3] (RD3-0147428-235-89, Methodical Guide).
После закачки индикатора регулярно осуществляют отбор проб до или на входе на УПН и проводят фотометрический анализ на содержание индикатора в плотном слое стойкой эмульсии и в водной фазе, например, с помощью фотоэлектроколориметра КФК-2.In the proposed method, an aqueous solution of rhodanium ammonium is used as an indicator. After carrying out work on the intensification of oil production or in the process of injecting chemicals to increase oil recovery in the production or injection wells, an indicator is pumped. As a result of mutual dispersion at the pump intake, formation water containing an indicator and oil containing asphaltene-resinous substances, solid fine particles and surfactants, a stable water-oil emulsion of the inverse type is formed. With the production of wells, the indicator is removed both in the composition of the stable emulsion and in the composition of the aqueous phase. After the indicator is pumped in, sampling is carried out regularly at or at the entrance to the UPN and photometric analysis is carried out for the indicator content in a dense layer of a stable emulsion and in the aqueous phase, for example, using a KFK-2 photoelectric colorimeter.
The following are specific examples of the implementation of the proposed method.
1.Example 1
In order to identify the source of the formation of persistent emulsion, an indicator was pumped - rhodanum ammonium into well 15967/1700 of the Samotlor field, where hydraulic fracturing of the reservoir was previously carried out using water-based sand carrier in order to intensify oil production.
A day after the well was put into operation using the ETsN-50 submersible centrifugal electric pump, the cementing unit ЦА-320 was injected into the well through the annulus of 8 m 3 of an indicator aqueous solution with a concentration of 10 g / l. Prior to the injection of the indicator, water-oil emulsion samples supplied to the oil treatment unit were taken, and the background values of the indicator in the samples were determined (table 1, figure 1). As can be seen from table 1, before the injection of the indicator, the background was 0.19-0.55 mg / L.
After the indicator was pumped, daily samples were taken of the production of wells supplied to the oil treatment unit, and photometric analyzes were conducted on the indicator content in a dense layer of persistent emulsion and in the aqueous phase. The maximum content of the indicator in the aqueous phase was observed at the inlet of the UPN at node A (21.6 mg / l), stage I separation (18.2 mg / l) and the end separation unit (15.7 mg / l) one day after injection indicator, which is two orders of magnitude higher than background values. The presence of the indicator in the dense layer of the emulsion and water and in the reservoirs of the PBC was not observed at the moment, the readings did not exceed the background values.
The maximum indicator content in the dense emulsion layer in the tanks was observed the next day (4.8 and 5.5 mg / L), which is an order of magnitude higher than the background value, and then the indicator concentration gradually decreased over the course of 4 days to 0.76 and 1.0 mg / l, but still exceeded the background values by 2-4 times.
2.Example 2
For a comparative analysis, similar studies were conducted on the injection of the indicator into a working well 3947 / 243a, where there was no work to intensify oil production.
Prior to the injection of the indicator, background values were determined in the samples taken at the inlet of the control unit (Node A) and the reservoirs of the PBC (table 2, figure 2). As can be seen from table 2, before the injection of the indicator, the background was 0.21-0.40 mg / l; after the injection of the indicator, its maximum content in the aqueous phase was observed after two days and amounted to 8.65-20.78 mg / l, which is 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than background values, then the indicator content in the aqueous phase gradually decreased over a period of 7 days to its original value. The indicator content in a dense layer of emulsion taken from reservoirs did not practically differ from the background values within 10 days from the moment the indicator was pumped.
Thus, as a result of the analysis of the production of wells supplied to the oil treatment unit, it was found that after the indicator is pumped into the well that was put into operation after hydraulic fracturing, it is detected both in the dense emulsion layer and in the aqueous phase. This is direct evidence that one of the sources of the formation of a stable oil-water emulsion is a production well, which was put into operation after hydraulic fracturing.
In order to prevent the formation of a stable emulsion in the produced products of a given well, which leads to disruption and disruption of the oil preparation process, it is necessary to take appropriate measures, namely, to optimize the technology of intensification of oil production, perform downhole processing (demulsification) of well products, etc.
In the absence of work to intensify oil production in the well, the presence of the indicator is observed only in the aqueous phase and is absent in the dense layer of the emulsion. During operation of wells that have not undergone various treatments, dispersion of formation water and oil also occurs at the pump intake, however, in the absence of mass removal of solid particles from the formation, asphalt-resinous substances, emulsion stabilizers (SAS), an unstable oil-water emulsion is formed. The results of the analyzes suggest that the indicator is removed from such wells with produced water or as part of an unstable emulsion that is easily destroyed by the existing oil treatment technology.
