FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: photopolymer composition for recording reflecting and transmitting holograms contains (i) polymer binder; (ii) monomer component: N-acryloyl compounds of formula I:

(I) wherein R1 and R2 are hydrogen atoms (acrylamide), R1 and R2 are methyl groups (N, N-dimethylacrylamide), R1 is hydrogen and R2 is allyl group (N-allylacrylamide), or R1,R2 denotes substituent of formula II:

(II) wherein X is methylene group (N- acryloylpiperidin), ethylimino group (1-acryloyl-4-ethylpiperazine), oxygen (N-acryloylmorpholine), piperazinyl (1-acryloyl-4-phenylpiperazine); (iii) poly(vinyl alcohol) derivative containing tertiary amino group expressed by formula III:
