Abstract

FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: 1,1,2,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane, used as component of mixed cooling agents, gaseous dielectric, propellant, and burning retardant, is obtained by reaction of 1,1,2,2,3,3-hexafluoro-1- chloropropane with excess hydrogen fluoride in presence of chromiummagnesium-fluoride catalyst at 250-450 C and contact time between 30 and 155 sec. Reaction product is freed of hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen chloride via consecutive countercurrent washing with water and aqueous alkali. EFFECT: increased conversion of raw material, improved selectivity regarding target product, and improved economical efficiency of process. 1 tbl, 12 ex
