The invention relates to the field of measuring equipment, namely to the field of measuring technological parameters, and can be used to measure the resistivity of liquid media in the food, chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, metallurgical and other industries, as well as to measure resistivity soil for diagnostic measurements of technosphere objects and for laboratory measurements.
A disadvantage of the known device should be recognized as the polarization of the electrodes during the measurement process and the resulting non-systematic measurement error.
A device for measuring the electrical conductivity of liquid media is also known (RU, patent 2063023, G 01 N 27/02, 1996). The known device comprises a housing, two main electrodes, two current electrodes, a measuring electrode, a dielectric screen, a dielectric gasket, an ammeter, a voltmeter, a variable resistor, a switch, a power source. In this case, the main electrodes are interconnected via a variable resistor, a switch and a power source, the current electrodes are interconnected via a voltmeter, and the measuring electrode is connected to the nearest current electrode through a voltmeter.
Initially, the amperage in the circuit and the voltage are measured, then using a variable resistor, the amperage in the circuit is changed to 0.05-0.1 A, which reduces the polarization of the electrodes. The current strength and voltage are re-measured in the circuit and the electrical conductivity is calculated using the measured values.
A disadvantage of the known device should be recognized the impossibility of significantly eliminating the polarization of the electrodes during long-term measurements.
The closest analogue of the invention can be recognized as a device for measuring the electrical conductivity of liquid media (SU, copyright certificate 1698722, G 01 N 27/02, 1991). The known device comprises an AC voltage source, a contact conductivity cell and a conductivity cell signal processing unit, including a rectangular voltage shaper, cut-out pulse shaper, a current-voltage converter, a synchronous detector and a recorder, the synchronous detector containing the first and second control inputs and consists of a block of keys connected in series with a low-pass filter, and the clipper pulse shaper contains a counter - divides l, two logical blocks.
The known device operates as follows. The signal from the alternating voltage generator is supplied to a rectangular voltage shaper and to a notch pulse shaper. The frequency of the alternating voltage generator is higher than the operating frequency of the conductivity cell. At the output of the rectangular voltage alternator, an alternating voltage is generated with a duty cycle equal to two. The signal from the square-wave alternator is supplied to the conductivity cell and to the notch pulse shaper. The notch pulse generator generates two signals arriving at the synchronous detector, which also receives the signal from the output of the conductivity cell passing through the current-voltage converter. The synchronous detector converts the received signal and transmits the conversion results to the recorder. Using the device allows to increase the measurement accuracy by reducing random errors, as well as temperature and time drift of the signal. However, it is complex and does not allow to eliminate the polarization of the electrodes, which leads to the appearance of an unsystematic error.
The block diagram of the device in the basic version is shown in FIG. 1, with the following notation used: conductivity cell 1, square-wave pulse generator 2, frequency counter-divider 3, inverter 4, reference current source 5, reference bridge 6, bridge 7 the measured voltage and the meter 8 constant voltage. Figure 3 shows the conditional diagrams of the designs of conductometric cells of the two-electrode and four-electrode types. In the design of a two-electrode type cell, the
The device operates as follows. The conductivity cell 1 is configured to be immersed in a liquid layer or in the ground. The rectangular pulse generator 2 generates pulses, the shape of which is shown in figure 2 A.
6. The pulses from the generator 2 are fed to the counter-divider frequency 3, which reduces the frequency to several hundred hertz and generates pulses in the form of a meander (Fig. 2, B), which eliminates the capacitive component of the current in the conductivity cell. At the same time, pulses from the counter-frequency divider 3 are supplied to the inverter 4, which gives pulses in the pauses between the pulses of the counter-frequency divider (Fig. 2, B). The reference current source 5 allows you to set and adjust in the mode of the current generator the necessary direct current (Fig.2, G) of the order of 0.1-1 mA. The composition of the reference current source 5 preferably includes a voltage stabilizer, a resistor voltage divider with the possibility of adjustment (calibration). The current flows to the bridge current switch 6. The latter is made on four keys working in pairs, and one key pair is controlled directly from the frequency divider 3, and the other pair is controlled via inverter 4. As a result, the current contacts of the conductivity cell are alternately connected to the positive and the negative pole of the current source, i.e. alternating current passes through the electrodes of the conductivity cell. The bridge of the measured voltage 7 is connected to the electrodes of the conductivity cell, the output of which is connected to a constant voltage meter 8. The bridge of the measured voltage 7 is made and works similarly to the bridge of the reference current 6.
In the proposed device, a direct current is set and regulated, while measuring a constant voltage, which ensures high accuracy of measurements, at the same time an alternating current is passed through the conductivity cell, which eliminates errors due to polarization of the electrodes.
When using a two-electrode conductometric cell, the blocks 6 and 7 are connected to the
The resistivity ρ of liquid media is calculated by the formula ρ = KR, where R is the measured resistance, and K is the factor having the dimension "m". This factor depends on the design of the conductivity cell and can be determined by measuring a fluid with a known resistivity.
The layout of the device was tested when measuring the resistivity of water with different resistivities. So the measurements of tap water showed that its resistance at different points in the city of Moscow can vary. When a solution of table salt was added to tap water, its resistance decreased by one to two orders of magnitude. The study of the resistivity of various types of water of GUP "Mosgorteplo" showed that the model of the device, made according to the above scheme, allows you to clearly distinguish between different types of water (feed, return, circulation, etc.) and also to determine the temperature dependence of the specific resistance of water.
16-18%. The proposed device allows to increase the measurement accuracy relative to the device used as the closest analogue by 16-18%.
