Abstract
Description
The group of inventions relates to means of thermal insulation of pipelines through which a hot medium flows.
Known heat-insulating sleeve for pipes containing a layer of heat-insulating material, on the outer surface of which is a sheath of sheet material, such as aluminum foil or paper (US 5851330, IPC F 16 L 59/14, N.cl. 156/229, 22.12.98) . The known sleeve has insufficient strength and therefore cannot be made autonomously and worn on the pipe. It is placed on the pipe by winding insulation onto the pipe.
Also known is a heat-insulating sleeve for pipes containing a rigid tubular shell made of polypropylene and a layer of mineral wool heat-insulating material located on its surface (GB 1394539, IPC F 16 L 59/14, N. CL F 1 P, 05.21.75). This sleeve can be made autonomously, but it is mounted on the pipe with a gap. This sleeve will not provide a tight installation of the sleeve on the pipe, since it does not have elasticity, and therefore, heat leakage due to the loose fit of the sleeve to the pipe is possible.
Closest to the proposed is a heat-insulating sleeve for pipes, containing a tubular sheath made of metal mesh or metal hose, a layer of heat-insulating material, for example, made of fibers, and an additional tubular sheath made of metal mesh or metal sleeve covering it (SU 811052, F 16 L 59 / 05, published on March 7, 1981). This sleeve can be worn assembled on the pipe of any configuration, however, it also does not provide a tight fitting of the sleeve on the pipe, since neither the metal mesh nor the metal hose have elasticity, and heat leakage due to the loose fit of the sleeve to the pipe is possible.
The technical result of the proposed device is to improve the insulating properties of the sleeve by providing a better fit to the pipe.
The technical result is achieved in that in a heat-insulating sleeve for pipes containing a tubular shell and a layer of heat-insulating material placed on its outer surface, moreover, according to the first embodiment of the invention, the tubular shell is made in the form of a woven or knitted stocking of fiber and / or thread, or a combination thereof with a metal wire, and according to a second embodiment of the invention, the stocking is connected from a metal wire.
Moreover, on the inner surface of the stocking, a sleeve of a polymer film can be attached.
The heat-insulating sleeve according to both variants can also be equipped with a fixing sleeve made of a polymer film covering a layer of heat-insulating material, and an additional stocking of fiber and / or thread and / or metal wire can be placed directly on the outer surface of this layer.
Basalt wool can be used as the heat-insulating material, and at least one stocking can be made of basalt fiber.
In addition, all layers of the sleeve can be covered by a pipe made of corrugated aluminum or composite material.
The drawing shows a cross-sectional diagram of one of the possible embodiments of the insulating sleeve.
- из нити, например капроновой;
The heat-insulating sleeve for pipes contains a tubular sheath in the form of a stocking 1, woven or knitted from fiber or thread, or from combinations thereof with each other and with metal wire. Stocking 1 can also be knitted from a metal wire. A layer 2 of a heat-insulating material, for example mineral wool, preferably basalt, is placed on top of the stocking 1. On the inner side of the stocking 1 and on the outside of layer 2 are sleeves 3, 4 made of a polymer film, for example polyethylene. On the outer surface of layer 2 under sleeve 4 is an additional crimp stocking 5, also woven or knitted from fiber, or thread, or metal wire, or from combinations thereof. According to the first embodiment of the invention, the stocking 1 can be woven from one of the types of these materials:
- from a thread, for example kapron;
- from fiber, for example basalt.
At the same time, both the thread or fiber, and the woven or knitted structure itself provide elasticity to the stocking.
п. The stocking may be woven or knitted from a combination of yarn and fiber. For example, in the fabric, the threads are arranged longitudinally, and the fibers across, or vice versa. In addition, the longitudinal or transverse element may be a metal wire, and the other element is a thread or fiber, or their alternation, etc.
In knitwear, two or three of the indicated elements (thread, fiber, metal wire) can alternate in order.
According to a second embodiment of the invention, the knitwear is made of metal wire and also has elasticity.
Stocking 5 can be performed similarly to the above, while it is additionally possible to use stocking 5 woven from a metal wire, although such stocking does not have elasticity and only prevents the thermal insulation material from breaking open.
The most preferred option is when stockings 1 and 5 are made of basalt fiber, which, being refractory, has high strength and thermal insulation characteristics.
In the case of increased requirements for strength and / or thermal insulation properties of the sleeve, all layers can be covered by a pipe made of corrugated aluminum or composite material (not shown in the drawing).
In the manufacture of a heat-insulating sleeve, the stocking 1 is put on the core or, first, the sleeve 3 and stocking 1 are placed on it. The stocking 1 is wetted with adhesive and a layer 2 of mineral wool is laid on it. A compression stocking 5 is put on layer 2, impregnated with a glue emulsion and, if necessary, a sleeve 4 of a polymer film is put on.
When installing a heat-insulating sleeve on the pipe due to the elasticity and elasticity of the stocking 1, it tightly fits the pipe, which allows to reduce heat loss, and also provides additional thermal insulation, which saves the consumption of cotton wool. In addition, the required strength characteristics are provided. An additional stocking 5 compresses the layer 2 of cotton wool, giving it a shape and protecting it from breaking out. In addition, the stocking 5 improves the elastic characteristics of the insulating sleeve as a whole, which also contributes to the improvement of its thermophysical and mechanical characteristics.
The density of knitting stockings 1 and 5 is determined by the required heat-insulating properties of the sleeve.
1, 5. Sleeves 3, 4 of a polymer film perform a protective function, protecting stockings 1, 5 from damage.
