Abstract
Description
The invention relates to chemical technology for finishing textile materials and can be used in finishing production to give fire protection to fabrics and non-woven materials made of cotton, linen, their mixture and their mixture with polyester fibers.
The prior art.
It is known that fire-resistant synthetic fibers and fabrics can be obtained by introducing flame retardants at different stages — both during the preparation of the polymer, in the process of forming the fiber, and in the processing of the fiber in spinning, and in the finishing of fabrics.
It is also known that fireproof cotton and linen fabrics are obtained by impregnating them with solutions containing flame retardants.
Mixed fibers, such as cotton or linen with polyester fibers, which are also obtained by impregnation with solutions of combustion retardants, are widely used. Fabrics that have undergone flame retardant treatment acquire reduced flammability, inability to residual burning (decay) and resistance to burning. For the manufacture of special clothing, in particular the clothes of welders and metallurgists, you can use only fabrics with a complex of such properties.
23.05.89. 19). Known aqueous composition for flame retardant treatment of cellulose tissues, containing, g / l: urea - 249-529, phosphoric acid - 80-212, alkali metal or ammonium salt of pyro- or tripolyphosphoric acid - 91-146, water - up to 1 l (A p. 1481251 A1, class C 09 K 21/00, D 06 M 13/44, publ. 05.23.89. BI 19).
176-177). Also known composition for flame retardant finish of cellulose-containing fabrics (Handbook of chemical technology for processing linen fabrics. M: Light industry, 1973, S. 176-177).
It is a mixture of aqueous solutions of phosphoric acid and urea with a polyethylene emulsion at a concentration of components, respectively, g / l: 60-70, 250-300 and 20. As a result of impregnation with this composition, the fabric acquires fire-retardant properties that meet the requirements of GOST for low-combustible materials.
However, cellulose-containing materials after processing with these compounds lose up to 30% of their initial strength. Therefore, the compositions are not applicable for fabrics with a surface density of less than 400 g / cm 2 . In addition, fire protection in this case is insufficient for mixed fabrics containing synthetic fibers.
1995).A known composition for flame retardant finishing flax cotton fabric, representing an aqueous solution of ammonium polyphosphate, urea and metal salts (copper, zinc and aluminum) with a ratio of components P 2 About 2 : N: Cu: Zn: Al = 170: 50: 1: 1: 1 with a total concentration of 25-95 g / l (US Pat. RF 2034943, publ. 1995).
However, the disadvantage of this composition is the complex and environmentally unfavorable technology for its preparation, involving the use of gaseous ammonia and salts of heavy metals.
1995). A known composition for the flame retardant finish of cellulose-containing tissues, which is an aqueous solution containing, g / l: phosphoric acid - 74-92, sodium polyphosphate - 100-174, urea 65-165, water - up to 1 l. (Pat. RF 2028399, publ. 1995).
However, with this composition it is impossible to give the fabric resistance to burning.
Closest to the invention in technical essence is a composition for flame retardant finishing of cellulose-containing fabrics, which is an aqueous solution of the product of the interaction of an acidic phosphorus-containing compound with a nitrogen-containing substance. Nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid was used as an acidic phosphorus-containing compound, and aqueous ammonia was used as a nitrogen-containing substance (US Pat. EP 0769584 A2, D 06 M 13/288, 04/23/1997, 11 pp.). The concentration of this product (neutral isate) is 100-600 g / l, the temperature of impregnation of the fabric with this composition is -25 o C.
However, the fire retardancy of tissues is not high enough. So, the oxygen index is not higher than 33%, burnability for heavy fabrics does not exceed 70 s, the height of the carbonized area is not lower than 70 mm in 30 seconds.
A serious drawback is the lack of resistance of the fire retardant finish to wet treatments. So, even with a single exposure to moisture, precipitation, they completely lose their fire retardant properties, which significantly limits the scope of their application.
The inventive task was to find a composition for fire retardant finishing of cellulose-containing textile materials, including the reaction product of an acidic phosphorus-containing compound with a nitrogen-containing substance and water, which would increase the fire resistance of textile materials, in particular, increase the oxygen index, increase the burnability for heavy technical fabrics, reduce the height of carbonized plot and at the same time give these indicators resistance to wet treatments.
The problem is solved by the composition for the fire-retardant finish of cellulose-containing materials, including the reaction product of an acidic phosphorus-containing compound with a nitrogen-containing substance and water, which additionally contains a direct, or active, or acidic dye and / or trisodium phosphate, as an acidic phosphorus-containing compound, contains individually or in various combinations with each other, substances selected from the group comprising nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid, phosphoric acid, mono- or diamm niyfosfat, and as the nitrogen-containing substance urea comprises the following component, g / l:
Dye - 0.1-50.0
Trisodium phosphate - 10-100
Sour phosphorus-containing compound - 50-350
Urea - 50-350
Water, l - Up to 1
The invention allows to obtain the following advantages.
50%). 1. Significantly increase the oxygen index (not lower than 37%, in some cases - up to 50%).
2. Increase burnability for heavy technical fabrics (at least 100 s).
Significantly reduce the height of the charred area for light household tissue (not higher than 40 mm).
4. To give resistance to fire-retardant properties to wet treatments, for example, to washing, washing, dry cleaning.
In addition, the invention provides additional benefits. So, the presence of dye in the composition makes it possible to dye the textile material already in the process of fire retardant finish, which significantly increases the efficiency of the technology. It should also be noted that with the combined presence of both dye and fire retardant components, the color intensity of the textile material increases. So, the color intensity of linen, dyed in the absence of fire-retardant components in the coloring composition, is 10-15% lower than when combined with both the dye and fire-retardant components.
