Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the processing of metals by pulsed pressure for electro-hydraulic expansion of pipes in tube sheets of heat exchangers, calibration of tubular billets and containers.
A known method of obtaining deforming forces by means of electro-hydraulic shocks in a liquid (a.s. 142502, class 49 g with a priority of 5.07.50), in which electro-hydraulic shocks are reproduced in a cylinder or chamber with a piston or membrane that receives shock and transmits them directly through a tool connected to a piston or membrane to a deformable object.
The disadvantage of this method is the presence of additional systems that transmit pressure to deformable products, such as a piston or membranes, which significantly reduces the impact on the metal, increases the energy intensity of the process.
Closest to the claimed method is the prototype method of press fitting pipes in tube sheets (B.Ya. Mazurovsky. Electrohydropulse press fitting of pipes in tube sheets of heat exchangers. Kiev: Naukova Dumka 1980, p. 94, Fig. 37), including placement of a high-voltage and grounded electrodes in a tube filled with water and the creation of an electric pulse discharge between them by applying a pulse to the high-voltage electrode.
The disadvantages of this method are the need to create powerful high-voltage generators with an energy of several tens of kilojoules per pulse, respectively, large mass and size characteristics of the devices, because for each impulse, a one-time special cartridge is used, the impossibility of using this method when pressing pipes in tube boards that were in operation, due to the presence of defects on the inner surfaces of the holes in the tube boards, a lot of preparatory operations associated with the installation and dismantling of devices during pressing. These disadvantages do not allow the use of this method for repair work directly in organizations operating heat exchangers.
The main technical task of the proposed solution is to reduce the energy level of a single pulse, reduce the overall dimensions of the installation, simplify the design by eliminating one-time cartridges with exploding wire, the ability to create high-quality joints on tube sheets that were in use and have defects on the inner surface of the holes.
где W0 - энергия единичного импульса, Дж;
N - число подаваемых импульсов, шт.;
WТ - энергия деформации трубы, Дж;
The specified technical problem is achieved by the fact that in the method for electro-hydraulic pressing of pipes in the tube sheets of heat exchangers, comprising placing a high-voltage and grounded electrodes in a water-filled pipe and creating an electric discharge between them by applying a pulse to a high-voltage electrode, according to the proposed solution, several pulses are supplied, the number of which for a given energy of a single pulse is determined from the relation
where W 0 is the energy of a single pulse, J;
N is the number of supplied pulses, pcs .;
W T - pipe strain energy, J;
W R - strain energy of the tube sheet, J.
4. An example of a specific implementation. The drawing shows a device for implementing the proposed method. The device consists of a high-voltage electrode 1, a
The method is as follows: several high-voltage pulses are fed to the high-voltage electrode 1, which pierce the gap between the high-voltage electrode 1 and the grounded wire electrodes 3. As a result, the
determine the required number of pulses, which will provide a high-quality connection 6≤N≤10. The test of the pressed-in compound was carried out under a pressure of 40 atm. The table shows the results of pressing the joints with a different number of impulses.
As can be seen from the table, high-quality press-fitting of the pipe in the tube plate is successfully carried out when 6 or more pulses with an energy of W 0 ≈ l260 J are applied, which is almost an order of magnitude lower than with a single exposure to a wire explosion (in the prototype W 0 = 7 kJ). Serving more than 10 pulses is not recommended due to excess pipe distribution at the inner border of the tube plate of more than 20 mm, which reduces the strength under vibration loads arising during the operation of the heat exchanger.
Thus, the possibility of reducing the energy of a single pulse and their sequential supply to obtain high-quality connection of the pipe and tube plate, which significantly reduces the overall dimensions of the installation and perform CE in the transported version, is shown. The proposed method can be successfully applied for repair of heat exchangers directly in production (for example, at thermal power plants, boiler houses).
