Н. - М., 1976, с. 138. Н.А. - М., 1978, с. 408). A known method of treating hearing loss, including physical methods, namely iodine and potassium collar, mud applications (Handbook of physiotherapy. Ed. By A. N. Obrosov. - M., 1976, S. 138. Hearing loss. Ed. N.A Preobrazhensky. - M., 1978, p. 408).
The known method is not effective enough and long.
5.Closest to the proposed invention is a method for the treatment of sensorineural hearing loss (RF patent 2082376, IPC 6 A 61 H 23/00, 06.27.97), which includes the physical impact of manual therapy methods aimed at restoring displaced vertebrae at a level from C 2 to C 5 .
The disadvantage of this method is the inability to fully restore hearing.
The invention is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the treatment of hearing loss.
The task is achieved by a method of treating sensorineural hearing loss, including physical exposure, in which, unlike the prototype, physical action is performed by massage in the following sequence: when lying on their backs, they apply intermittent pressure on the areas around each auricle through pain points for 4-6 min, then massage with kneading techniques sequentially on the face, arms, legs, for 6-10 minutes, then in the supine position with kneading techniques - on the ru and back legs for 6-10 minutes, spending daily treatment for 12 days with an interval between the courses 14 days for a total treatment duration of three courses and over until complete recovery of hearing.
In the pathogenesis of the development of sensorineural hearing loss is a violation of certain sections of the central nervous system associated with the auditory center in the cerebral cortex. This violation can occur during the intrauterine development of the child, as well as during childbirth.
The proposed method for the restoration of hearing is based on the impact through the nerve endings that go near the auricles and in other parts of the body, on the auditory center in the cerebral cortex and, thus, on the restoration of the affected areas of the central nervous system. By restoring the conductivity of the central nervous system, the method improves the regulation of auditory nerves and, thus, completely restores hearing. The earlier treatment begins, the faster hearing recovery is.
The method is as follows. They analyze the complaints of the parents of the child, or the child himself for bad hearing, examine the patient through audiometry. A palpation study of the areas around the auricles is carried out to identify painful points that indicate a violation of the nervous regulation of the auditory apparatus.
The treatment is carried out by physical action through massage in the following sequence: in the supine position, they apply intermittent pressure on the area around each auricle at the pain points for 4-6 minutes, then massage with kneading techniques successively on the face, arms, legs, for 6-10 minutes, then lying on the stomach with kneading techniques - on the hands, back, legs for 6-10 minutes, treating daily for 12 days.
After the course of treatment, repeated audiometry is performed, which usually shows an improvement in hearing acuity. The number of courses is determined by full recovery of hearing.
Example 1. Patient Ruslan, 4 years old, was admitted with a diagnosis of bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. He wore a hearing aid. With audiometry, hearing loss was detected. Palpation of the areas around the auricles revealed painful spots.
The patient was treated according to the proposed method. In the supine position, intermittent pressure was applied to the pain points around each auricle for 5 minutes, then massage was performed for 10 minutes with kneading techniques sequentially on the face, arms, legs, then in the supine position, massage was also performed with kneading techniques. for 8 minutes on the arms, back, legs. The treatment was carried out daily for 12 days.
Repeated audiometry showed an improvement in hearing in the right ear.
After a 14-day break, a repeated 12-day course of treatment was carried out according to the above method.
Studies have shown improved hearing in both ears.
The third course of treatment was carried out after a 14-day break. Hearing recovered to normal.
The child is monitored for 3 years, there is no relapse of the disease.
Example 2. Patient Dilara, 8 years old, was admitted with a diagnosis of Sensorineural hearing loss. Complaints about tinnitus. Conducted audiometry and palpation studies, which confirmed the diagnosis.
The patient underwent 4 courses of treatment for 12 sessions with a break between courses of 14 days. The treatment was carried out as follows.
In the supine position, intermittent pressure was applied to the pain points around each auricle for 6 minutes. Then a massage was performed with kneading techniques on the face, arms, legs - for 10 minutes. After that, in the supine position, kneading techniques also performed massage for 8 minutes on the arms, back, legs. After each course of treatment, audiometry was performed. Hearing gradually improved, and after the 4th course of treatment, hearing became normal.
Treatment with the proposed method was carried out for 30 children from 3 to 14 years old with sensorineural hearing loss. The number of treatment courses for various patients was carried out from 3 to 6. In all patients, the hearing was completely restored, which confirms the effectiveness of this treatment method.
