CIGAR EXTINGUISHER

This proposal relates to a device for extinguishing cigarettes, made in the form of a tip, which, when tightly put on the burning end of the cigarette, not only extinguishes it, but also acts as a vessel for collecting the remaining ash, and this extinguishing device is disposable: it can be thrown away with cigarette when appropriate in any suitable tank.

Although ashtrays for smokers are usually found both in public places and in homes, in practice there are often cases when there are no ashtrays and when it is undesirable to throw a cigarette on the floor either because of the nature of the place in which it occurs, or simply for reasons of hygiene and ethics. In such circumstances, smokers face the real problem of throwing away used cigarettes.

A simple, economical and effective way to throw cigarettes out, first by extinguishing them instantly and then creating a cap that covers the burned end of the cigarette and thus allows you to put it in your pocket or other appropriate place in which it can be temporarily stored until it is finally thrown into trash bin or any other suitable waste bin.

The extinguishing device is made in the form of a housing of one part, preferably metal or biodegradable plastic, taking into account its one-time nature of use. The housing is made in the form of a vessel, the inlet of which has a suitable shape in order to facilitate the penetration of the cigarette inside it, and the inner diameter, at least at its midpoint, is equal to the outer diameter of the cigarette, as a result of which the latter is simply inserted into the hollow body leads to the creation of a quenching chamber having a small size and completely impermeable to air, in which oxygen disappears essentially instantly after the introduction of the cigarette, so that the latter is thus very quickly quenched.

After extinguishing, the casing remains connected to the cigarette, forming a kind of cap, which also plays the role of an ashtray, preventing the remaining ash from falling until the kit formed by the extinguishing device and the cigarette is thrown away.

From the drawing, it is seen that the device for extinguishing a cigarette is made in the form of a case of one part (1), hollow and open at one end (2), while the case expands to the specified hole (2) to facilitate the penetration of the cigarette (3). The housing consists of a cylindrical section and a section in the form of a truncated cone. The housing can also be made in the form of a truncated cone along the entire length or have any other suitable shape that does not change the essence of the proposal.

In any case, at least at the midpoint (4) of the case (1), it must have a diameter equal to the diameter of the cigarette (3), as a result of which, when the cigarette is placed inside the device, an extinguishing chamber (5) is created, which serves as a collector ash (6) of the cigarette (3), and at the same time, the cigarette (3) seals it by contacting the sides of the cigarette (3) with the inside

the surfaces of the housing (1), and this sealing leads, as mentioned above, to the immediate consumption of oxygen in said quenching chamber (5) and to the subsequent sinking of the cigarette (3), which is essentially instantaneous.

Along with this effect of instantly extinguishing the cigarette (3), the case (1) forms a cap that remains statically connected to the cigarette (3), protecting its burned end and holding the specified burning ash (6) inside itself, as a result of which, as indicated above , a kit consisting of a housing or a quenching device (1) and a cigarette (3) may be temporarily stored in a pocket or any other appropriate place if there is no pepe at this time; Subsequently, the remainder of the cigarette in the cap can be thrown into any garbage container. A single use of the extinguishing device (1) and its embodiment in the form of one, preferably metal or biodegradable plastic part, provide environmental benefits.

Materials, size, shape and arrangement of elements should be able to vary, provided that this does not change the essence of the proposed proposal.
