Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the production of isotropic electrical steel used in the magnetic circuits of rotating devices (engines, generators).
Requirements are made for isotropic electrical steel: limiting the anisotropy of magnetic properties, ensuring a given level of magnetic induction and magnetic loss. Satisfaction of these requirements is achieved by optimizing grain sizes (0.07-0.2 mm) [1].
[2].A known method of producing electrical steel sheet, including continuous casting of steel containing ≅ 0.04% carbon, 1.5-4.0% silicon, the rest of the iron and inevitable impurities, obtaining a slab, preliminary rough reduction of the slab by 10-70% at a temperature 1000-1300 o C, hot rolling of a slab, cold rolling, annealing [2].
[3].A known method of manufacturing an electrotechnical sheet steel, comprising obtaining steel containing: 0.02% C, 0.5-3.5% Si, 0.1-1.0% A1, 0.1-1.0% Mn, not more than 0.007% S, 0.005-0.3 Sb, the rest is iron, hot rolling of a slab, annealing at 700-950 o C, cold rolling and annealing [3].
0,2-0,6% A1. The satisfaction of the above requirements in the method is solved by limiting the activity of components (mainly sulfur, nitrogen, carbon) that form non-metallic inclusions that impede grain growth. As a rule, they strive to bind nitrogen into insoluble nitrides, which is realized by introducing 0.2-0.6% A1 into steel.
[4]. The closest analogue to the claimed invention is a known method for producing isotropic electrical steel, including metal smelting, out-of-furnace steel processing, steel casting into slabs, heating slabs, hot rolling, winding of hot rolled coils, double cold rolling and strip heat treatment [4].
The technical result of the invention is to obtain stably high magnetic properties while reducing the cost of the manufacturing process.
The specified technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method for the production of strips of electrotechnical isotropic steel, including metal smelting, out-of-furnace processing, casting, heating of slabs, hot rolling, winding of hot rolled coils, cold rolling and heat treatment of the strip, while heating the slabs is carried out to a temperature of 1100- 1150 o C, the temperature of completion of hot rolling is set in the redistribution 800-850 o C, and coiling roll temperature was maintained in the range 650-700 o C. The process is carried out of furnace steel processing Waku mation non-deoxidized metal with simultaneous blowing it through the bottom of the ladle before the carbon concentration of less than 0.007%, followed by doping the silicon and aluminum, and removing the sulfur by moving the refining slag. The heat treatment of the bands is carried out at temperatures of 880-950 o C with exposure for 1-5 minutes in an unhydrated nitrogen-hydrogen mixture. Cold deformation is carried out in one stage.
The examples below substantiate the effectiveness of the described techniques for improving and stabilizing magnetic properties.
890-910oC.Example 1. Metal (C 0.03-0.045%; Mn 0.15-0.22%; Si 1.35-1.60%; Al 0.3-0.5%; N 0.005-0.007%) was smelted in oxygen converters with a capacity of 150 tons; subjected to out-of-furnace treatment with alloying in a ladle, portioned evacuation, purging with argon through a lance, then it was cast on continuous casting machines into 220 mm thick slabs. The slabs were heated in walking-beam furnaces to various temperatures in the range of 1100-1150 ° C, and rolled to an intermediate thickness of 30 mm. The final deformation completion temperature was varied in the range of 800-850 o C, and the strip winding temperature was 650-700 o C. Then the strips were etched, cold rolled from 2.2 to 0.5 mm and decarburized annealing in a humidified nitrogen-hydrogen mixture atmosphere (H - 25%, N - 75%, dew point temperature - plus 45 o C) at a temperature of 890-910 o C.
The main research results are presented in FIG. 1-3. From the data of these figures, obvious trends toward an improvement in magnetic properties follow with decreasing heating temperature of the slabs and the completion of hot rolling, as well as an increase in the temperature of the strip winding.
To obtain the required magnetic properties, the heating temperature of the slabs should not exceed 1150 o C. The lower limit of the heating temperature (1100 o C) is limited by the possibilities of subsequent deformation. The upper limit of the temperature of the end of hot rolling is 850 o C (a further increase in temperature leads to deterioration of properties), the lower - 800 o C - by overloading the stands of the finishing group. At a coil winding temperature of more than 650 o C, the hot-rolled steel is characterized by a rather coarse-grained structure (d cf - 0.03-0.05 mm). At the same time, at a winding temperature of more than 700 o C, the etchability of the scale sharply worsens, which causes known difficulties in etching and cold rolling.
Example 2. As in example 1, the metal was smelted in oxygen converters (C - 0.03%; S - 0.006%; Mn - 0.17%; Si - 1.54%; Al - 0.38%; N - 0.006%) and was bottled on continuous casting machines. The slabs were heated to a temperature of 1120 o C, hot rolling was completed at a temperature of 830 o C, the strips were coiled at a temperature of 670 o C. Thus, in one experiment, all three methods of improving magnetic properties were used.
The high level of steel properties (B 2500 - 1.63-1.64 T, ΔB 2500 - 0.07-0.08 T, P 1.5 / 50 - 3.6-3.9 W / kg) illustrates the capabilities of the process , the implementation of which does not require the use of special measures and can be implemented in almost any sheet-producing plant.
3. The technology has even greater possibilities, in which the operation of carbon removal during heat treatment can be excluded from the technological cycle, and recrystallization annealing is carried out at a low oxidative potential of the atmosphere, which follows from example 3.
Example 3. The metal melted in the converter (steel containing 0.035% C) in the unoxidized state was subjected to vacuum treatment in a batch type unit with simultaneous argon purging through porous plugs in the bottom of the ladle, which significantly intensified the carbon removal process. The residual carbon concentration was 0.004% (without purging, 0.01%). Then, the metal was alloyed with silicon and aluminum, refining slag was added with lime and fluorspar additives (1.0-1.5% by weight of metal), and the metal was heated in a ladle furnace to 1600 ° C and mixed with slag due to additional argon purge. Before casting, the metal contained 0.004-0.006% C; 0.004-0.008% S; 1.45-1.52% Si; 0.38-0.49% Al; 0.005-0.007% N. Slabs were heated, hot rolled, and the strip was rewound, respectively, at temperatures of 1120, 820, 680 ° C. The carbon concentration in the hot rolled strips was 0.002-0.004%, which made it possible to reduce the oxidizing potential of the atmosphere during the final decarburization annealing ( H - 25%, N - 75%, dew point temperature - minus 5-10 o C). These techniques contributed to a further decrease in the magnetic losses P 1.5 / 50 to 3.3-3.6 W / kg and an increase in the induction of B 2500 to 1.63-1.65 T.
The regularities described above are also confirmed in the production of high alloy steel.
45oC).Example 4. Smelted metal with a carbon concentration of 0.038%, obtained in the converter, was subjected to batch vacuum with metal purging with argon through a gate in the bottom of the bucket. The carbon concentration as a result of evacuation decreased to 0.008%. After evacuation, the metal was poured through a slide gate into a second bucket, onto the bottom of which ferrosilicon, aluminum, and solid synthetic slag (
The finished metal was characterized by the following level of magnetic properties (see table).
Note that due to a decrease in the carbon content and a limitation of the rolling temperature, the ductility of the strips was quite sufficient to deform the metal containing the total concentration of silicon and aluminum of more than 4% to a thickness of 0.35 mm.
Thus, the use of the techniques described in the present invention allows to obtain a high level of quality indicators with varying degrees of alloying of electrotechnical isotropic cold rolled steel.
