The disadvantages of analogues and the prototype of the combat knife are: its visibility during the entrance control within the framework of metal detectors, which makes it difficult for secret service officers to carry weapons; increased weight, which slows down movement during a knife fight; reduced hardness, which is the cause of insufficient penetrating power, which does not allow the fibers of the Kevlar body armor to be pushed apart. In addition, the design of known knives is not ergonomic enough, while the center of gravity of analogue knives is not optimally located relative to the handle, which reduces the force of the hand on the weapon and, as a result, the cut force.

The objective of the utility model is to increase the mobility of the knife and ensure invisibility when checking with a metal detector.

The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the ceramic-composite combat knife contains a blade made of ceramic material and a handle made of a polymer composite material and equipped with a heel and a guard with a notch for fingers, the handle is connected to the blade by means of riveted joints, one of which is at the end of the handle made with a hole for attaching a lanyard, and riveting joints are made of ceramic material.

Thanks to these innovations, the design of the knife has become more ergonomic, the weight of the knife is less than that of analogues. All this allows to achieve the desired functionality and combat capability of the claimed utility model.

The ceramic-composite combat knife 1 includes a one-sided blade 2 with a dagger-type blade made of ceramic material and a handle 3 made of a polymer composite material, while the handle 3 of the knife 1 is provided with a heel 4 and a guard 5, which is provided with a recess 6 for fingers. The handle 3 is connected to the blade 2 by a riveted connection 7 made of ceramics. The convex part of the heel 4 is provided with a riveted connection with a hole 8 for attaching a lanyard. The use of the developed shape and non-metallic materials in the design of the knife increases the mobility of the utility model and makes it invisible when trying to detect it with a metal detector.

The technical result consists in increasing the mobility of the knife and ensuring invisibility when checking with a metal detector.
