Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine and engineering psychology and can be used to relieve psychophysiological stress in stressful situations, professional psychological fatigue and auto-training, as well as for activating effects.
A known method of influencing the psychophysiological state of a person / USSR Author's Certificate N 1450829, A 61 M 21/00, 1989 /, which consists in the simultaneous supply of color dynamic gamut of light and sound vibrations. At the same time, sound rhythmic vibrations are close in quality to musical sounds, and the color gamut of the image is supplemented by dynamic forms.
п.). The known method is technologically complicated, which is associated with the need to use special hardware (sound pacemaker, sound generator, light pacemaker, light generator, modulation unit, etc.).
There is also known a method of influencing the psychophysiological state of a person with both light and sound signals corresponding in frequency to the human breathing cycles / USSR Author's Certificate N 1119700, A 61 M 21/02, 1984 /. In this case, the rhythm of exposure is first changed in a decreasing exponent, then the rhythm is kept constant, and then the frequency is increased in increasing exponent to a level corresponding to the initial respiration rate.
The specified method is not functionally universal, as it imposes an artificial breathing rhythm, which may not correspond to the actual psychophysiological state of the patient. In addition, the method does not directly affect the biopotentials of the brain.
Closest to the claimed one is the method / RF Patent 2088267, A 61 M 21/00, 1997 /, in accordance with which, simultaneously with the verbal suggestive-stressful anti-alcoholic effect of the doctor, a luminous dot is exposed in front of the patient in a darkened room, blinking synchronously with the doctor’s voice, and 1.5-2 hours after the onset of exposure, the trigeminal nerve is irritated by mechanical pressure on the Vallee points. The specified method is also not functionally universal.
The authors were faced with the task of creating a method of influencing the psychophysiological state of a person deprived of the above disadvantages. To solve this problem, in the method of influencing the psychophysiological state of a person, which consists in projecting color signals onto a screen located in a person’s field of view, it is proposed to simultaneously create on the screen an image that scatters attention on the periphery of the eye and an image that fixes attention in the center of the eye.
An image capturing attention can be created in the form of an image of a three-dimensional body, for example, a cube, an octahedron or a tetrahedron rotating around its diagonal.
It is proposed to use concentrically smoothly changing color schemes as an image of scattering attention. At the same time, it is proposed to use color schemes containing at least 80% cold tones for a relaxing effect, and color schemes containing at least 80% warm tones are proposed for an activating effect.
It is also proposed to impose semantically meaningful relaxing or activating information displayed on the screen at a sub-threshold, unconscious level of perception on the image capturing attention.
The simultaneous impact on the patient of two images, one of which captures attention in the center of the gaze, and the other scatters attention on the periphery, allows you to effectively adjust the patient's psychophysiological state.
The use of images in the form of a rotating three-dimensional body for capturing attention, in the form of concentrically smoothly changing color schemes for scattering attention, as well as overlaying on the image of semantically significant information at a subthreshold or subthreshold level of perception, can dramatically enhance the effect of exposure. Thus, the specified technical result is achieved.
The method is as follows. The patient is placed in front of a screen on which two images are created simultaneously: fixing attention in the center of the gaze and scattering attention on the periphery. Depending on the purpose of the impact, concentrically smoothly changing color schemes are used as the image of scattering attention, either mainly cold (blue-green spectrum) or warm (red-yellow spectrum) tones. The exposure process occurs in a certain rhythm with the frequencies of natural electrophysiological processes (electro-encephalographic) accompanying the states of activation or relaxation, in the mode of biological resonance, depending on the goals of correction of the psychophysiological state. The process lasts from 1 to 7 minutes and can be accompanied by additional exposure to sound encoded information and visual information superimposed on the central image.
Example 1. A computer operator experiencing a feeling of fatigue and emotional stress at the end of an eight-hour working day displays an image on the monitor screen that includes a cube rotating around the diagonal, from which the color gamut extended with expanding concentric circles, including the following colors smoothly changing into each other: blue, blue, yellow, green. In this case, the word “rest” was imposed on the image of the rotating square, which appeared on the screen with a frequency of 10 Hz and was not visually felt by the operator, since the exposure time was 0.04 seconds. After 5 minutes of observation, the operator began to relax.
Example 2. A computer operator experiencing a feeling of drowsiness and mental discomfort before the start of the working day, an image was displayed on the monitor screen, including an octahedron revolving around the diagonal, from which expanding concentric circles in the color scheme, including the following smoothly changing colors, departed: red, brown, yellow, orange. At the same time, the image of the rotating octahedron was superimposed periodically asynchronously appearing image of the jumping ball and the word "vigor", appearing with a frequency of 12 Hz and not visually perceived by the operator at a conscious level, because the exposure time was 0.04 seconds. Through the computer's audio system, the operator was simultaneously affected by rhythmic music. The state of vigor and readiness for work with the operator appeared after 2.5 minutes of observation of the screen.
Using the method will provide an effective impact on the psychophysiological state of a person with simple, standard hardware used outside the hospital, for example, at work or at home.
