Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of abrasive blasting of parts, mainly in the form of bodies of revolution, before applying a thermal spray coating.
A known method of abrasive blasting of parts, in which the working particles are informed of the movement along an arc trajectory, while the suction is carried out at the entrance of the working particles to the processing zone and is finished at the exit from it.
The disadvantage of this method is that its use for the preparation of parts having the form of bodies of revolution for plasma spraying does not allow to obtain a high adhesive strength of the coating. When machining a part, risks are formed on its surface, the direction of which coincides with the direction of the tangential stresses arising from the operation of gas-thermal coatings under friction. The latter tend to shift the sprayed coating relative to the shaft.
The invention is aimed at increasing the adhesion strength of gas-thermal coatings.
The solution of this problem is achieved by the fact that the trajectory of the particles is changed after they bounce from the surface to be processed towards this surface by means of a two-phase air flow, and jets of compressed air are fed at an angle of 30-45 o to the generatrix of the workpiece towards each other and at an angle of 75 -85 o to the tangent.
A significant difference from the prototype is that when abrasive blasting parts, the trajectory of the particles of the abrasive is changed after they bounce from the surface to be processed towards this surface by means of a two-phase air flow, and jets of compressed air are fed at an angle of 30-45 o to the forming part to meet each other to a friend at an angle of 75-85 o to the tangent.
The claimed method meets the category of "Novelty" and allows us to conclude that the criterion of "Significant difference".
The drawing shows a diagram of the implementation of the proposed method.
The invention is as follows.
Part 1, subject to abrasive blasting, is installed in the cartridge of the rotator, down to it a
Example. A plasma coating was applied (plasma powder PN 85 10) with a thickness of 1 mm to two batches of cylindrical samples with a diameter of d = 75 mm. Before spraying, both parties were prepared by abrasive blasting. The first batch of the method specified in the prototype, the second - the proposed method. The processing of samples of the second batch was carried out in the following technological mode: part rotation speed n = 20 rpm the pressure of the air supplied to the shot blast gun, P 1 = 4 kgf / cm 2 ; the pressure of the air supplied to the pneumatic nozzles, P 2 = P 3 = 6 kgf / cm 2 . The distance of abrasive blasting and air supply was 120 mm. Plasma coating on the samples of both groups was applied at the same technological mode.
Coatings sprayed by a plasma jet on samples of both groups were tested for adhesive strength at tangential shear. The test results (table.) Allow us to conclude that the application of the proposed method of preparing parts for thermal spraying 1.75 times increases the adhesive strength of the resulting coatings during tangential shear testing.
Thus, the application of the proposed method of abrasive blasting of parts will increase the adhesive strength of the thermal coatings and the quality of the restored parts as a whole.
