Description

 The invention relates to the field of television, in particular to television systems that reproduce additional information.

 Known methods for extracting teletext information, for example EP N 0642266, cl. H 04 N 5/44, 1997; DE N 4340656 A1, CL H 04 N 5/445, 1997, in which the teletext pages are called up according to the user's instructions, and the time spent on searching the desired page is reduced by special encoding of text information or by preliminary analysis of its novelty directly in a television signal containing teletext.

 A known method (KR N 95009677, class. H 04 N 7/08, 1995), which coincides with the claimed by the largest number of signs, which provides the possibility of simplifying the procedure for calling the user of the teletext page of interest, however, this requires special marking of pages directly in television signal.

 The present invention is aimed at solving the problem of minimizing the time a user searches for information of interest to him, reflected on a particular teletext page, without presenting additional requirements for a television signal by preliminary accumulating information and changing the procedure for generating commands to call teletext pages.

 The problem is solved in that in the method of calling a predetermined teletext page in the selected channel, which consists in generating the channel selection commands, calling the teletext and teletext page, the channel selection and teletext calling commands are stored, then a signal corresponding to the page number is generated, the last is stored according to the previously generated write command, and the page call command is formed by retrieving the stored information from the memory using an additionally generated read command. Likewise, commands to call another and subsequent teletext pages are generated. For this, signals corresponding to the number of the other and subsequent teletext pages are additionally generated, the mentioned signals are stored according to the previously generated corresponding recording commands, and the call command of each of the pages is formed by retrieving information from the memory according to the previously generated corresponding reading commands. It is most convenient to select teletext pages containing specific topics. To do this, each of the write and read commands is associated with a specific teletext topic. The inventive method allows within each channel in advance, using the teletext table of contents, to form a data bank systematized according to the principle determined by the user, and to view information by generating only one command to call the desired page. This is ensured by operations with the television receiver control commands without presenting additional requirements for the television signal.

 To implement the claimed method, a device equipped with a special processor is required, located either in the remote control or in the television receiver itself. It can be performed on known integrated circuits, for example, the PIC16C76 series, and the formation of commands and intermediate signals can be done by any known method of switching an electric circuit.

 The claimed method can also be implemented by means of a device, which is the second object of the present invention, associated with the first single inventive concept.

 Known devices that allow you to generate control commands for a television receiver, providing the implementation of both its standard functions and additional (KR N 91002218, CL H 04 N 5/44, 1991; RU N 12115257, CL H 04 N 5/445 , 1998). Closest to the claimed one, coinciding with it in the largest number of features, is a remote control device for a television receiver of the PDU-44 TXT type, described in the book by S. Elyashkevich. and Peskin A.E. "Televisions of the fifth and sixth generations", Moscow, "Symbol-R", 1996, pp. 184-186. In the above devices, the formation of commands to call each of the teletext pages is carried out according to the well-known procedure for dialing a three-digit line number, which requires a known voltage from the user. They do not provide the ability to create a databank of teletext page numbers to simplify the calling procedure. The invention allows to solve this problem. For this, in the remote control device of a television receiver containing an input / output device, a control unit and a radiator unit, the input of the control unit being connected to the output of the input / output device, and the output to the input of the radiator unit, additional input / output device and control unit are introduced one input of which is connected to the output of the first input / output device, the other input is connected to the output of an additional input / output device, and the output is connected to the input of the emitter unit. An additional input / output device can be made in the form of keys or buttons, each of which is named in accordance with the theme reflected on the teletext page.

 The invention is illustrated by the description and the attached drawing, which shows a functional diagram of the device. It contains an input / output device 1, a control unit 2 and a radiator unit 3. The input of the control unit 2 is connected to the output of the input / output device 1, and the output is connected to the input of the radiator unit 3. Additional input / output device 4 and a control unit are introduced into it. 5, and one input of the latter is connected to the output of the first input / output device 1, another input is connected to the output of the additional input / output device 4, and the output is connected to the input of the emitter unit 3.  The device operates as follows. When you press the keys with alphanumeric characters of the input / output device 1 in the first control unit 2, encoded signals are generated in a certain way, corresponding to the commands for selecting the channel, calling the teletext mode and the number of the selected page. The same signals are fed to the corresponding input of the additional control unit 5 and fill certain memory cells. The signal corresponding to the number of the selected page is entered into memory by the command received from the key of the additional input / output device 4. The command to call the page is generated in the additional control unit 5 and fed to the emitter 3 by the command of reading from the key of the additional input / output device 4. The remote control is connected to a television receiver at a frequency that is not perceived by the eye.

 The method is implemented as follows. Previously, focusing on the Teletext table of contents, the numbers of the teletext pages are stored in the selected channel, associating them with a specific topic, for which the keys with the corresponding alphanumeric characters are pressed successively: channel number, teletext call, page number, topic, for example, “sport” . A similar operation is performed for other topics reflected on the teletext pages, and on other channels. This procedure can be performed once by both the user and the equipment manufacturer. At the end of programming, they exit Teletext mode and put the television receiver in the mode of viewing television programs. To reproduce on the television screen the contents of the teletext page of the subject of interest to the user, he only needs to turn to the key with the name of the topic.

 The claimed method and device can be used in television systems transmitting teletext or other additional information.

A method of calling a predetermined teletext page in a selected channel, comprising generating channel selection and teletext calling commands, characterized in that the channel selection and teletext calling commands are stored, then a signal corresponding to the page number is generated, the latter is stored by a pre-generated recording command, and Teletext page call command is generated by extracting from memory by a pre-formed read command.  2. A remote control device for a television receiver comprising an input / output device, a control unit and an emitter unit, wherein the input of the control unit is connected to an output of an input / output device, and the output is connected to an input of an emitter unit, characterized in that additional input / output device is introduced and a control unit, one input of which is connected to the output of the first input / output device, the other is connected to the output of an additional input / output device, and the output is connected to the input of the emitter unit.  5.
