Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the protection of metals from hydrogen sulfide corrosion in hydrogen sulfide-containing mineralized environments.
[1]. Among the closest to the intended purpose inhibitors (analogue), recently protected by RF patents, it is known, for example, the use of trialkylbenzylmethylammonium chloride or fluoride, or iodide, additionally containing octidecylamine, quinoline or its derivatives as an inhibitor of hydrogen sulfide corrosion and hydrogenation of steel [1].
The disadvantage of the analogue is its high cost and low degree of protection with a low content of hydrogen sulfide in mineralized water.
[2]. The claimed inhibitor is similar in composition (prototype) to a corrosion inhibitor based on epoxy resin [2].
The disadvantage of the prototype is:
1) The high cost of the inhibitor compared with the claimed.
The objectives of this invention are:
1) the development of a highly effective inhibitor of hydrogen sulfide corrosion of structural steels during the transportation of flooded oil in the oil gathering system and produced water in the reservoir pressure maintenance system,
2) disposal of waste from the production of aliphatic alcohols (C 8 -C 12 ),
3) reducing the cost of reagents for the intensification of oil production,
4) expanding the range of inhibitors used.
(C8-C12).This goal is achieved in that a 5-20% solution of diene epoxy resin in waste from the production of aliphatic alcohols (C 8 -C 12 ) is used as an inhibitor of hydrogen sulfide corrosion of building steels.
Diene epoxy resin is widely used to create polymer coatings [3]. Alcohol production wastes are currently used as boiler fuel.
The use of this solution as an inhibitor for protecting metals from corrosion is not described in the literature.
Studies to determine the inhibitory effectiveness of compounds were carried out on samples of steel 20, which is currently widely used in the construction of gas and oil pipelines.
As a model corrosion medium (CS), we used models of hydrogen sulfide-containing formation waters of various deposits of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the content of hydrogen sulfide from 50 to 200 mg / l.
[4]. The protective effect against hydrogen sulfide corrosion was determined in accordance with [4].
The effectiveness of protection against general corrosion (OK) was evaluated by polarization curves as follows.
The Tafel sections of the anodic and cathodic polarization curves were extrapolated to the value of the corrosion potential and the value of the corrosion current in the hydrogen sulfide CS was obtained. Comparing the course of the polarization curves in the inhibited and non-inhibited CS, we obtain the values of the corrosion currents in the inhibited (i) and non-inhibited (i 0 ) CS.
[4], Z = (i0-i)/i0•100%.The degree of protection against OK is determined by the formula [4], Z = (i 0 -i) / i 0 • 100%.
The table shows that the proposed inhibitor of hydrogen sulfide corrosion of structural steels 5-20% solution of diene epoxy resin has a high degree of protection against general corrosion in corrosive environments. The use of the proposed inhibitor will effectively protect the inner surface of the equipment of oil and gas fields during the production of waterlogged oil, and utilize the waste from the production of alcohols.
