Abstract

FIELD: medicine. Description

 The invention relates to medicine, namely to addiction medicine and can be used to treat various forms of drug dependence.

 Addiction is a serious chronic disease. In the process of anesthesia, all vital multifunctional systems of the body, including the drive system, are involved in the painful process. Therefore, psychotherapeutic and socio-psychological methods of treatment are an important factor in the impact, allowing you to really change personal attitudes and influence the patient's motivational aspirations.

 Clinical practice has proven that psychotherapy is a necessary part of drug therapy (Pyatnitskaya I.N. Drug addiction. M: Medicine, 1994, S. 487-502).

 Currently, with the development of psychotechnology, the proportion of psychotherapeutic methods in the treatment of drug addiction has significantly increased. Most of them are based on the well-known method of stress-psychotherapy, which was first developed by A.R. Dovzhenko (Organization of stress-psychotherapy for patients with alcoholism on an outpatient basis, Guidelines, M., 1984, p. 7). Known methods include methods of psychotherapeutic influence, suggestion in an indirect and imperative form, the introduction of a psychological setting - the "code", its fixation and the use of a placebo effect.

 The difference between the known methods from each other lies in the fact that they modify the individual methods of the method A.R. Dovzhenko, and the principle of influence remains the same. Thus, apomorphine is used as a placebo in the method of treating drug addiction according to the USSR author’s certificate N 1601822, in the RF patent N 2034576, “vow” is used as a psychological setting with religious motives, in RF patent 2006220, the exit area is further irritated as reflexogenic zones surface of the skull of the large occipital nerve, etc.

 The above methods are a combination of new in their specific content, although essentially already known methods of targeted psychological impact on different levels of the hierarchical system of personal attitudes.

 As a prototype, a treatment method for drug addiction can be considered, in which a multi-stage effect on the patient’s personality with psychotherapeutic information is performed. When conducting individual and group treatment sessions convince the patient of the possibility of cure and increase motivation for treatment.  However, all known methods, including the prototype, according to the author of the application, are not effective enough because they consider drug addiction on a par with alcohol and nicotine addiction and do not take into account the features that distinguish addiction from all other types of psychological dependence.

 Given the complexity of the disorders that occur during drug addiction, the essence of the proposed method is to conduct psychotherapeutic preparation of the patient, during which the patient and his relatives receive information about the principles of treatment and the need for rigorous implementation of the doctor’s settings. Then, at the preliminary stage of treatment, against the background of irritation of reflexogenic zones, an installation is introduced to reduce the dose of the used drug until it is completely eliminated and only after the patient is completely freed from taking the drug and has an abstinence period of 3-10 days or more, treatment sessions are carried out with a double encoding.

 The method is as follows.

 Treatment is a means of psychotherapeutic influence on a patient with drug addiction and includes the following main stages: preparatory (consultative) and therapeutic, which, in turn, includes the preliminary stage and the process of reflex-hypnotic coding.

 Persons are recruited into the group of patients subject to psychotherapeutic treatment regardless of the length of service (period) of drug use and type of drug.

 A prerequisite is the sincere desire of the patient to be treated.

 An active conversation is being held with the patient's relatives about how they should behave with the patient during his treatment. During this period, the patient is warned about the rigorous implementation of the settings of the attending physician and the principles of treatment are explained.

 After consultation, the patient signs in a document confirming his acceptance of the conditions of admission.

 The treatment process consists of two main stages: preliminary (the creation of primary background protection against drugs) and the process of reflex-hypnotic coding.

 At the beginning of the preliminary stage, the individual doctor talks with the patient about the dangers of narcotic substances and, specifically, about the health status of this patient.

 All possible variants of mental and physical disorders resulting from the effects of drugs are clarified and use the information obtained to reinforce the patient’s motivation and conviction of the need for treatment and individually adapted suggestion.

 Then, through hypnotic suggestion, the patient creates psychological confidence that he can get rid of drug addiction with his sincere desire. At this moment, with the help of a reflex action (repeated thrusting with the thumb of the right hand) in the upper medial corner of the left eye orbit at the exit points of the branch - N.ophthalmyri (orbital nerve) and its branches NN supraorbicularis oculi trochlearis until light pain and bright ophthalmic vision like a bright flash) - phosphenes.

 In this case, the installation is given at the beginning of the reduction of the narcotic dose to complete “jumping from the needle”. A prerequisite is a three-day dose reduction option, that is, every 3 days the patient reduces the dose of the drug by 10-15% from the initial dose to zero, creating the opportunity to avoid a fragile or withdrawal syndrome.

 According to a practical five-year observation of a control group of patients of 200 people, such a three-day cycle allows the patient’s brain to adapt to a decrease in drug metabolism without serious mental and physical consequences.

 During this period and throughout the treatment, the patient is recommended the active use of citrus juices (up to 2-2.5 liters per day), mineral water with honey and lemon, fresh fruits, vegetables.

 Thus, conditions are created for the introduction of natural ascorbic acid (vitamin C) into the body, which increases the activity of the antitoxic enzyme cholinesterase and hormones of the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland, resulting in increased excretion of endophorins and narcotic alkoloids from the body.

 The patient is recommended to limit the use of meat and meat products during this period, since purine bases, released in the intestine during meat digestion, enhance putrefactive (fermentation) processes, provoking dyspeptic phenomena (diarrhea, flatulence), since normal drug activity in the intestines decreases flora.

 Patients have the opportunity to use sedatives, tranquilizers (relanium, relorm, etc.), but it is necessary to exclude the use of strong coffee and tea.

 The period of reflex hypnotic coding is divided into two stages: primary coding, secondary coding.

 Primary coding is performed after the patient is completely freed from taking drugs and has a period of abstinence of 3-10 days or more.

 More than 85% of patients were admitted to the control group for coding.

 When coding, the patient is explained that the primary code is laid for 1 year and operates in the cortex of the cerebral hemispheres.  Example 1. Patient A.N. B., 22 years old, for 4 years suffered from addiction to drugs.

 In the last 8 months, he has been using opiates in medium doses.

 Anamnesis: infectious hepatitis in 1996, concussion 4 years ago, smoking from 12 years old.

 He began to use smoky drugs (anasha) at the age of 18, and six months later, opiates and psychostimulants (derivatives of ephedrine).

 He was twice treated in a drug treatment hospital, where he underwent full courses of treatment, including hemosorption, symptomatic therapy, and vitamin therapy.

 After inpatient treatment, he immediately began to use drugs (opiates).

 Example 2. Patient S.A.V., 18 years old, has been suffering from polydrug abuse for 2 years.

 History: obesity and mild diabetes mellitus (non-insulin-dependent).

A method of treating drug addiction, including conducting sessions of rational and suggestive psychotherapy, influencing the conscious and subconscious levels with the suggestion of a psychological attitude to relieve drug addiction, carried out against the background of irritation of reflexogenic zones, characterized in that mental and physical consequences are revealed in the process of rational psychotherapy taking drugs from this patient and use the information obtained for individually adapted suggestions of necessity and in the possibility of getting rid of drug addiction, while introducing the patient into a state of hypertonic trance, repeatedly pressing in the upper medial zone of the orbit of the left eye on the exit point of the orbital nerve until mild pain and phosphenes appear and continue to suggest the need to start reducing the drug dose by 10 - 15% every three days to zero, when the patient reaches complete abstinence from drugs within 3 to 10 days, he is given a session of reflex-hypnotic effect, on which they suggest e of the primary anti-narcotic code, freeing from drug addiction during the year, while doing repeated pressures in the upper medial zones of the orbits until mild pain and phosphenes occur, not earlier than a month later they conduct a second session of reflex-hypnotic suggestion with the installation to lay the secondary code on complete removal of drug addiction.  2.
