Description

 The invention relates to medicine, namely to phytotherapeutic agents for the treatment and prevention of pyelonephritis and nephrolithiasis, used independently, as well as in combination with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, non-specific immunocorrection therapy and physiotherapy. The tool has anti-inflammatory, urolitic, diuretic activity, as well as adaptogenic and capillary-strengthening effects.

 It is known to use phytodiuretics prescribed for acute and chronic kidney diseases, accompanied by edema, albuminuria, azotemia and the formation of urinary stones, with cystitis and urethritis, gout, nephrolithiasis, cholecystitis, etc. (1).

 The disadvantages of these funds include their inaccessibility. For example, staminate orthosiphon (kidney tea) is a subtropical culture and is supplied in very small quantities, and hernia smooth, although it grows on a wider territory, has insignificant reserves. In addition, the range of therapeutic effects of these agents is not too wide. Currently, it is recommended to use plant harvests rather than individual plants (2). This is explained by the fact that, in addition to the main components responsible for the main action, the fees also include those that act auxiliaryly, enhancing the influence of the main ones and exerting their beneficial effect on the patient's body (3). When compiling a collection, it is necessary to take into account not only many therapeutic factors, but also the possible influence of its components on each other, often not only in a favorable direction.

 The collection we took as a prototype, containing birch buds, St. John's wort grass, corn stigmas, knotweed or horsetail grass, bearberry or lingonberry leaves, dill or carrot fruits, tricolor and field violet grass, sage grass, rosehips in therapeutic doses (4) . This collection has a rather complicated composition, designed for the treatment of kidney stones, however, the uncertainty of its composition and the interchangeability of the components adopted by the authors may cause objections. So, bearberry and lingonberry belong to different families, differ in chemical composition, as a result of which the identity of the pharmacological action of these plants cannot be relied on. In addition, the administration of bearberry is limited to several days, while this collection is recommended for prolonged use (5). This applies even more to horsetail and knotweed, and the fruits of dill and carrots, designed to replace each other. In the case of replacing even one plant (not to mention two and three) with another, a new collection is obtained with a possible other effect.

 The basis of the invention is the task of creating such a drug collection for the treatment and prevention of pyelonephritis and nephrolithiasis, which would be highly effective, had no undesirable side effects, was simple enough to produce, accessible to a wide range of consumers.

The collection is invited to give the name "Rocasil." All components of the collection are not potent, do not have contraindications in therapeutic doses. The latter, with a single or daily intake, do not exceed the norms. The components of the collection are readily available, relatively inexpensive, they can be processed under normal conditions. The collection was arranged by specialists with special education and extensive experience working with medicinal plants, and the treatment was highly qualified by urologists and therapists.

 The components of collecting grass of drooping tar, chamomile herb, calendula flowers, narrow-leaved fireweed leaf were pre-crushed to a particle size of not more than 5 mm; rosehips were crushed to a particle size of at least 3 mm. The fruits of the hawthorn were used entirely. The components of the collection were thoroughly mixed until a uniform mixture was obtained. The collection has a pleasant spicy-aromatic smell, the taste of the water decoction is bitter. The infusion was prepared as follows: 2 tablespoons of the collection were poured with a glass of boiling water, insisted on a boiling water bath for 20 minutes, cooled, filtered through 2 layers of gauze, the grass was squeezed out, the extraction volume was adjusted to 200 ml with water. They took 1/3 cup 3 times a day an hour before meals. The course of treatment lasted from 1 to 2 weeks. If necessary, the course of treatment can be extended up to 4-6 weeks.

 "Rocasil" was used to treat patients with urolithiasis, namely, stones of the lower and middle third of the ureter, patients with kidney stones complicated by chronic pyelonephritis, as well as patients suffering from chronic pyelonephritis, including those with a single kidney. Of the 15 patients suffering from ureteral stones, after taking Rocasilum alone, 10 stones left, 7 of them stones of the lower third. There is a pattern that when taking Rocasilum, even against the background of standing of the ureter stone, proteinuria and leukocyturia were not observed. Patients underwent treatment with Rocasil in order to study the anti-inflammatory effect. Some patients took "Rocasil" without other anti-inflammatory drugs, some on the background of uroseptics. In both cases, urine tests remained within normal limits.

 Example. Patient S., 56 years old, suffers from chronic pyelonephritis for 2 years. A year ago, a nephrectomy was performed for hypernephroid kidney cancer. In the postoperative period in urine tests: protein 0.066 g / l; Lct. 50 p / sp. er. 10-20. After treatment with ampicillin, oletetrin, polymycin, proteinuria and leukocyturia are retained in urine tests. Conducted a 14-day course of treatment with Rocasil. Urine tests after a 7-day course: protein 0.033 g / l; Lct. up to 12 in s / sp. After 14 days: Protein 0, Lct. up to 6 p / sp.

 Example. Patient S., 62 years old, suffers from chronic pyelonephritis for the past 10 years; 3 years ago, according to radioisotope renography, a non-functioning left kidney. In 1992, operated on: excision of the parapelvic cyst on the right. In the postoperative period, exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis occurred. Antibacterial therapy was carried out: gentamicin, oxacillin, uroseptin, etc. Proteinuria, protein 0.066 g / l; Lct. 30-40 p / sp. After a 10-day intake of "Rocasil" protein 0; Lct. up to 10 in p / sp. then proteinuria and leukocyturia resumed. 5-NOC was added to the treatment, after which the tests returned to normal with Rocasil.

 Example. Patient V., 52 years old, had a history of nephrolithotomy on the right in 1990. Over the past years, frequent exacerbation of pyelonephritis has been observed. Conducted treatment: gentamicin, chloramphenicol, 5-NOC. Only after a 14-day course of treatment with Rocasil urine tests returned to normal.

 Based on the foregoing, it can be argued that the Rocasil drug collection is effective for the treatment and prevention of pyelonephritis and the passage of calculi from the ureter. The collection has anti-inflammatory and urolitic activity. It is effective in primary pyelonephritis, as well as in secondary, associated with the presence of kidney stones and ureters. It has a strong anti-inflammatory effect in the postoperative period. The collection is well combined with antibiotics and uroleptics, drugs of the nitrofuran series, in some cases mitigating the undesirable consequences of treatment with the latter, eliminating nausea and vomiting. It does not cause side effects, including from the gastrointestinal tract. The collection has good organoleptic qualities and is accepted by patients quite satisfactorily.
