Abstract
Description
The invention relates to wastewater treatment and can be used in biological wastewater treatment plants for the pulp and paper, coal, petrochemical and oil refining industries, as well as in urban wastewater treatment plants.
с. C02F 1/52, 1984). A known method of purification of industrial effluents from organic impurities by flocculation, according to which polyvinylbenzylpicolinium chloride is used as a flocculant (AS USSR N1122619, class C02F 1/52, 1984).
The disadvantage of this method is the low cleaning efficiency and the presence of secondary pollution due to high dosages of the product.
There is also known a method of water purification, including treatment with a coagulant and flocculant, followed by separation of the precipitate formed and filtration, where polyhexamethylene guanidine is used as a flocculant in an amount of 1.0 3.0 and 3.0 5 mg / l, respectively (a.c. N1430359, cl C 02F 1/54, 9/00, 1988). The disadvantage of this method is the presence in the flocculant of toxic epichlorohydrin and potassium salts, which leads to secondary pollution of treated wastewater.
с. C02F 11/14, 1990 ). Closest to the proposed invention is a method of treating excess activated sludge, including flocculant treatment, which is used as an amide of 7-oxa-4-azanonen-8-oic acid (AS USSR N1535853, class C02F 11/14, 1990) .
The disadvantage of this method is the insufficiently high cleaning efficiency and toxicity of the flocculant used, which leads to secondary pollution of treated wastewater.
The technical task of the proposed invention is to increase the cleaning efficiency due to the coagulation of pollutants with activated sludge under the action of a cationic active flocculant.
The problem of the invention is solved in that in the method of wastewater treatment, which consists in treating biologically treated wastewater with a flocculant, the product of the interaction of polymethylvinylpyridine latex with a molecular weight of 100,000 to 300,000 at. units with a stoichiometric amount of benzyl chloride, which is fed into waste water containing activated sludge in an amount of 0.10 0.20 wt. in relation to silt.
The use of flocculant in an amount of 0.10 0.20 wt. from sludge content in wastewater allows to increase the rate of sedimentation of activated sludge in the secondary settling tanks, which increases the productivity of facilities, and also increases the efficiency of wastewater treatment from emulsified organic compounds of oil products, anionic surfactants and suspended solids.
The use of flocculant in an amount below 0.10 wt. from the content of activated sludge in water is insufficient to achieve the optimal sedimentation rate of activated sludge and increase the efficiency of treatment.
The use of flocculant in an amount above 0.20 wt. from the content of activated sludge is inappropriate, because the cleaning effect does not increase, with a greater consumption of polyelectrolyte.
The implementation of the proposed method is illustrated by examples of specific performance.

Example 5 (prototype).
Samples of wastewater containing activated sludge were treated with identical doses of the synthesized polymethylvinylpyridinium benzyl chloride flocculant and the known amide-7-oxa-4-azanonen-8-oic acid reagent. The concentrations of the working solutions of the reagents being compared and their amounts for water treatment were the same and amounted to 0.1% and 2 mg / l sludge, respectively.
