Полезная модель относится к области медицинской техники, в частности к предметам гигиены, используемым в стоматологии, и может быть использована для гигиенического ухода за зубами у детей, а также лиц, имеющих ограниченные возможности здоровья для проведения ухода за полостью рта. Прикусной валик выполнен из резины в виде параллелепипеда высотой 19 мм с параллельными прорезями по вертикальной оси и имеет в поперечном сечении Н-образную форму. Глубина прорезей от верхней точки выступа составляет 6 мм. Боковые поверхности параллелепипеда гладкие. Выемки прикусного валика имеют рифленую поверхность в виде углублений и выступов в продольном направлении. Удерживающая дуга имеет эластическую консистенцию и может обхватывать голову пациента.
