Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the composition of the mixture to obtain slag metal pyroxene composition, intended for use in the chemical, metallurgical, mining, construction.
A known mixture for producing a ceramic of aegirine composition, which consists of only two components: “tailings” of enrichment of ferruginous quartzites of the Kursk magnetic anomaly and soda [1]
Closest to the proposed mixture in chemical composition and properties is a mixture of composition containing copper smelting slag and three binder components: sand, chalk, dolomite [2]
The disadvantage of the charge is its multicomponent.
The technical result of the invention is to reduce the cost of production of slag metals, which have the same high physical and mechanical properties as on the basis of the known charge.
In the present invention, the aegirine-diopside slag composition is obtained from a two-component mixture: copper-smelting slag and cullet of sheet or container glass.
Due to its chemical composition, cullet, when introduced into the charge, immediately replaces two types of raw materials: sand and soda. Unlike natural raw materials, cullet has a constant chemical composition. Replacing sand with cullet significantly accelerates the process of glass formation. The use of such a mixture solves the problem of recycling not only copper-smelting slag, but also cullet, which is especially important for regions remote from sheet and container glass factories.
The slag-cullet ratio can vary within the range of 0.54-1.5, making it possible to obtain material of various colors and structures: from dark green with a jade-like translucent structure (0.54) to black with a dense, well-crystallized structure (1.5). The former can be used as a finishing building material, the latter as a technical material.
Fe2O3).The choice of boundary conditions for the slag-cullet ratio is due to the following reasons. If the indicated ratio is less than 0.54, then the crystallization ability of the slag glasses is deteriorated, which is expressed in an increase in the crystallization temperature, a decrease in the amount of the crystalline phase, and most importantly, in a significant deformation of the obtained products during crystallization. If this ratio is greater than 1.5, then the cooking ability of the glasses is significantly deteriorated due to the strong foaming of the melt in the cooking process due to the high content of iron oxides (over 35 wt. Fe 2 O 3 ).
Glass melting is carried out at a temperature of 1300-1350 o C in oxidizing conditions. The heat treatment of slag glasses is carried out according to different modes depending on the slag / cullet ratio, two-stage (500 o C 0.5 h, 800 o C 1 h, the temperature rise rate in the range of 500-800 o C is 120 o (h) for glasses with low slag and one-stage (600 o C 1 h) with high slag content diopside-aegirine solid solution is released, glasses with a high slag content - diopsideginyne solid solution and clinoferosilite (the latter also applies to monoclinic pyroxenes).
1. The chemical composition of the waste used is shown in table 1.
3. Specific examples of the compositions of the blends and the resulting compositions of slag metals, as well as their physico-chemical properties in comparison with those for the ceramic aegirine composition according to (3) are given in tables 2 and 3.
3 The above data show the feasibility of replacing soda with cullet in the proposed mixture, because the obtained glass-crystalline material based on this charge has the same high physicochemical properties as on the basis of the known charge (3). The developed slag metal can be recommended as a wear and chemical resistant material for use in the chemical, mining, metallurgical industries, and in construction. TTT1 TTT2 TTT3
