Abstract
Description
The invention relates to methods of water treatment and purification of waste and natural waters and can be used in the chemical industry, energy and other sectors of the economy.
These waters are characterized by a certain mineralization and belong to medium and brackish waters.
When these waters get into reservoirs of fishery importance, they cause an increase in salinity level above the maximum permissible level. In this regard, their discharge into the indicated water bodies is unacceptable. To improve the ecological state of the environment by eliminating the discharge of untreated wastewater, their partial or complete disposal is necessary.
The most radical solution to this problem is the complete separation of water-salt systems, which are wastewater into individual components and their full use.
When processing wastewater of the specified composition, several different substances can be obtained. These include, first of all, demineralized water, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, a magnesium chloride solution and calcium sulfate.
Based on the foregoing, the task of wastewater treatment is relevant from the point of view of environmental protection and improving the efficiency of water treatment technology. This problem in the known methods is not adequately solved.
A known method of wastewater treatment, including evaporation of wastewater Na-cation exchange filters, the allocation of sodium chloride by mixing one stripped off wastewater with the purge water of steam generators, processing the mixture with lime and soda, clarification of the suspension and evaporation of the liquid phase to 20-30% of sodium salts [1]
The disadvantage of this method is that the solid calcium and magnesium salts formed as a result of water processing, as well as liquid concentrated solutions with a high content of sodium chloride, require further processing or disposal. These substances, even after burial, are potential sources of environmental pollution. In addition, their further processing or disposal significantly affects the efficiency of the process.
Of the known methods for treating wastewater, the closest in technical essence and the achieved effect is a method for treating wastewater, which includes treating the source water, concentrating the water by evaporation, accompanied by crystallization of the solid phase, separation of the resulting suspension, cooling of the liquid phase of the suspension, crystallization of mirabilite, separation of crystals the latter from the mother liquor and crystallization of sodium chloride [2]
The disadvantage of this method is that during the processing of water get unsuitable for use calcium and magnesium hydroxides, as well as barium sulfate. In addition, after crystallization of sodium chloride, the liquid phase remains, which is a concentrated (20%) solution contaminated with impurities. These solids and liquid phases are sent for disposal and to the tailings of liquid waste. The presence of places for storage of waste are sources of environmental disasters, which is why the known method does not completely eliminate environmental pollution.
The disadvantage of this method is also its low cost, due to the high material and other basic costs per unit of production and the costs necessary for the construction and maintenance of waste storage. The decrease in efficiency in water processing is also caused by the need to use chemicals: soda, lime, sulfuric acid and barium chloride.
In addition, the known method of processing water does not provide the possibility of obtaining a concentrated solution of magnesium salts.
The purpose of the invention is to reduce the volume of effluents and increase the efficiency of the process by obtaining marketable products.
The goal is achieved in that in the known method of wastewater treatment, including treating the source water, concentrating the water by evaporation, accompanied by crystallization of the solid phase, separating the suspension obtained, cooling the liquid phase of the suspension, crystallization of mirabilite, separating the crystals of the latter from the mother liquor and crystallization of sodium chloride, new is that water treatment is carried out at the last stage of concentration to obtain calcium sulfate, after separation of which the liquid phase is cooled azhdayut temperature to start the selection of the solid phase, and then crystallized therefrom mirabilite at a temperature not higher than -10 ° C, the crystals formed are separated from the liquid phase, which is sent to crystallization due to the removal of water with sodium chloride when the concentration of magnesium salt in the liquid phase of the suspension to 25-29%, followed by separation of the crystals of sodium chloride from a solution of magnesium salts.
The proposed method of wastewater treatment is illustrated in the drawing.
П р и м е р. PRI me R. The initial wastewater weighing 210 kg is concentrated in several stages to a mass of 5.5 g. After concentration of the solution to the final composition, 204 g of water and 5.5 g of suspension are obtained, which contains 0.26 g of a wet solid phase of calcium sulfate. The liquid phase of the suspension is cooled to the temperature of the beginning of the selection of the solid phase, recorded visually. The cooled solution was admixed with a suspension of sodium sulfate having a temperature of (-5) - (- 20) C. separating the slurry by filtration at the above temperatures were analyzed solid and liquid phases. The liquid phase is heated and evaporated to a predetermined concentration (24-30%) of magnesium salts. The resulting suspension of sodium chloride is separated and the compositions and weights of the solid and liquid phases are determined.
2. The results of the examples are given in tables 1 and 2.
According to the prototype method, instead of calcium sulfate, a mixture of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide is obtained, the masses of which are 0.19 and 0.12 g, respectively. The use of this mixture of substances is not defined, and therefore it is subject to disposal. The yield of this mixture is approximately 2.5 thousand tons per year. The need for reagents is 5-7 thousand tons per year. Further concentration of the solution is accompanied by the formation of solid phase deposits on the surface of the pipes of the heating chamber of the evaporation apparatus (installation). Solid phase deposits include the above substances.
From the table. 2 that mirabilite crystallization should be carried out at temperatures of the slurry is not higher than -10 ° C. This is due to several factors, including the quality of the crystalline mirabilite content therein of sodium chloride. It is found that at temperatures above -10 ° C, e.g. at -5 ° C, the sodium chloride content of 17% which is much higher than allowed by the concentration of product in the salts.
Yield sodium chloride significantly increases and remains almost constant if mirabilite conduct crystallization at temperatures not higher than -10 ° C. The reduction yield sodium chloride, mirabilite crystallization temperature caused by the fact that after the sodium chloride crystallization start allocated second salt crystallisation field which border on crystallization field sodium chloride. Due to the higher final concentration of sulfate ion in the solution after separation of salts at a temperature of -5 ° C crystallization mass of sodium chloride released until the second salt, 23.2% less than at the crystallization temperature -10 ° C
Of no small importance for the further processing of the solution of magnesium salts is which salt will be released after crystallization of NaCl. At a temperature of crystallization of salts -5 ° C during the crystallization of sodium chloride in its final stage and the further processing solution is released sulphate double salt Na 2 Levent SO 4 · MgSO 4 · 2,5H 2 O. This salt thereof in admixture with sodium chloride use in the present time does not and therefore must be buried. This means that in order to obtain a suitable solution of magnesium salts, this step is necessary. This leads to a significant reduction in the yield of the solution.
From Table 2 also shows that the conducting crystallization of salts at (-10) - (- 20) ° C has no significant effect on the results of the method of waste treatment. At the same time lowering the temperature to -20 ° C adversely affects the economy of the process.
Crystallization of sodium chloride is carried out by removing water from a suspension at a concentration of magnesium salts in the liquid phase of a suspension of 25-29%. At concentrations less than 25%, for example, at 24%, the solution of magnesium salts is heavily contaminated with impurities of magnesium sulfate and sodium chloride. When the concentration of magnesium salts is more than 29%, a joint crystallization of sodium chloride and magnesium sulfate in the form of kieserite is observed. Therefore, to eliminate pollution of sodium chloride with magnesium sulfate, crystallization of sodium chloride is carried out at a concentration of magnesium salts in solution of not more than 29%
Thus, the goal is attained if the treatment of sewage water is performed at the last concentration step is carried out cooling the solution to a temperature to start the selection of the solid phase, after which the crystallization of salts is carried out at a temperature not higher than -10 ° C, and the crystallization of sodium chloride is conducted by removing parts of water and increasing the concentration of magnesium salts in the liquid phase of the suspension to 25-29%
The proposed method of wastewater treatment provides obtaining suitable for technical use calcium and magnesium sulfates, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride solution with an admixture of magnesium sulfate, demineralized water and reducing the discharge of substances into the environment, which reduces the cost of wastewater treatment and thereby increase efficiency this process, improve the ecological state of the environment.
