Abstract
Description
The invention relates to apparatus for separating liquid media using semipermeable membranes and can be used in the chemical, food and microbiological industries, as well as for the treatment of industrial wastewater, desalination and concentration of various solutions.
В 01 D 61/08, 1990). A device for treating a liquid is known, comprising a supply pipe, a plate module operating on the principle of reverse osmosis, pipelines for concentrate and permeate, and characterized in that swirl elements are located in the plate module, and a shut-off element in the supply pipe for controlling the amount of flowing liquid (application Germany N 3841594, class B 01 D 61/08, 1990).
This device is characterized by the simplicity of the design, however, this design is not reliable enough because of the difficulty in achieving the tightness of the plane-parallel membrane element and requires an increase in the thickness and material consumption of the outer plates of the membrane module, since the working pressure is created inside and the outside is atmospheric.
Closest to the invention is an apparatus for the purification of gases and liquids by the reverse osmosis method, comprising a housing with a lid in which channels are made for supplying a cleaned medium and for removing concentrate and permeate. Inside the case, several plane-parallel membrane elements are installed in series in the form of rectangular boxes filled with membranes. Permeate is removed from the apparatus through a pipe connected to the membrane elements with hollow coupling bolts.
In this device, cleaning medium flows through the channel in the cover into the gap between the housing and the membrane elements, moves to the opposite end of the housing is rotated about 180 and through the open ends of the ducts penetrates the membrane elements, wherein purified by membranes.
The disadvantage of this device is the non-uniformity of the flow rate of the processed fluid along the entire surface of the membranes, which is formed during the flow around hollow coupling permeate-discharge bolts, leading to the formation of stagnant zones and deposits on the membranes, reaching 10-15% of the total surface of the membranes with increasing fluid flow rate to the working one. The device can only work in a horizontal position to prevent capture by a stream of suspended particles, which, settling on the membranes, cause a decrease in their permeability. This leads to inefficient use of production facilities and is inconvenient when operating the membrane apparatus. Upon termination of work, the suspension also settles on the membranes.
The objective of the invention is to increase the reliability of the membrane elements and ease of maintenance of the membrane apparatus.
This is achieved by the fact that in a membrane apparatus for cleaning gases and liquids, comprising a housing with a lid and pipelines for supplying a solution and discharge of concentrate and permeate, in which membrane elements with hollow coupling bolts for removing permeate are installed in series, the apparatus is equipped with a funnel connected to a narrow part with a concentrate outlet pipeline and a wide part through a flange with a lower membrane element, while the solution supply pipeline is in communication with a cavity formed between the inner wall of the housing and the outer the top of the funnel, and is equipped with guide plates installed between the ends of the membrane elements at an angle to the axis of the apparatus, while the space between the membrane elements is communicated with a cavity formed between the inner wall of the housing and the outer surface of the funnel by means of an adjustable throttling device and is equipped with a locking ring, the housing is made a protrusion with an annular groove, the diameter of which is less than the diameter of the retaining ring, and the end of the solution supply pipe at the junction with the housing olnen beveled.
Equipping the membrane apparatus with a funnel connected by a narrow part to the concentrate outlet pipe and a wide part through a flange with the lower membrane element, and the solution supply pipe communicating with the cavity formed between the inner wall of the housing and the outer surface of the funnel, allows additionally to precipitate suspended particles from the liquid supplied to membrane separation, which improves the reliability of the membrane elements by eliminating the formation of deposits on the membranes.
Equipping the membrane apparatus with guide plates installed between the ends of the membrane elements at an angle to the axis of the apparatus, and communicating the space between the membrane elements with the cavity formed between the inner wall of the housing and the outer surface of the funnel, by means of an adjustable throttling device ensures speed equalization over the entire cross section of the membrane elements, which increases the productivity of the latter due to the exclusion of stagnant zones on the membrane sections between the coupling bolts and achieves equality of velocity in sequential membrane elements compensates the decrease in the flux due to bleed on the second permeate, followed by the membrane elements, by feeding the flow from the flow line.
Equipping the membrane apparatus with a retaining ring and performing a protrusion with an annular groove on the housing, the diameter of which is less than the diameter of the retaining ring, reduces the material consumption and laboriousness of manufacturing the shutter connecting the housing to the cover and ease of maintenance.
The execution of the end of the solution supply pipeline at the junction with the beveled body causes a flow swirl due to tangential interaction with the outer surface of the funnel, which ensures more efficient separation of suspended particles due to the action of centrifugal forces. This increases the efficiency and reliability of the membrane apparatus.

14. The apparatus consists of a
Membrane apparatus operates as follows.
11. After installing the
The proposed apparatus provides increased reliability by eliminating the disassembly of the inlet and outlet high pressure pipelines and the uniformity of flow through the membrane elements, and also provides ease of maintenance.
